POOR WORKMANSHIP IN ALL AREAS

TOP MANAGEMENT INSISTED ON AN IMPRACTICAL HOME COMPLETION DATE AND HELD THE PROJECT MANAGER TO THAT DATE. I WAS ASSURED THAT QUALITY WOULD NOT SUFFER UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES BY THE SALES TEAM. HOWEVER, DRYWALL, PAINTING, TILE WORK, APPLIANCE AND CABINET INSTALLATION, PLUMBING, ROOFING, AND CARPENTRY WERE DEFECTIVE IN THE BUILD PROCESS. WE WERE INFORMED THAT OUR MANDATED PULTE CLOSING DATE COULD NOT BE MET THREE QUARTERS OF THE WAY ON OUR 1260 MILE DRIVE TO THE CLOSING. WE COULDN'T BE MORE DISAPPOINTED IN THE ENTIRE PROCESS.

Design was great, but Quality & workmanship of the house was ok at best. Some Contractors were sloppy with their work, & fit, and finish was not so great in certain areas. Ordered & paid for an upgraded refrigerator and received a basic (loaner) refrigerator at closing, Still waiting for our ordered refrigerator 2 months after closing! Other issues still open. Warranty follow-up communication for issues needs improvement.

We recently moved into our new house. Our total build out took about 1 year. Our original move in date was supposed to be August. We moved in officially December 31. It was frustrating as the date kept getting pushed back in 1 month intervals leading my family to constantly have to move from short term rental to short term rental. Also, we closed without our house completely being finished which is ok because we agreed to this. However, there seems to be no urgency whatsoever to get our house finished now that we have closed. We have multiple issues that need addressed.

We closed with the promise our home would be completed. It was not in a livable condition. It hadn’t been painted, cleaned and the paper protecting the tile was still in place. We had to cancel all the deliveries that day. We also didn’t have hot water and the stove leaked gas. Apparently, no one tested them when they were installed . Both were due to poor installation. The washer and dryer were not there and as of 2/08, our pool is still not functional. We closed 12/30. A responsible builder would not have allowed the home to close. It is such a disappointment with the 7-page typed punch list of items that need to be fixed after we moved in. The list continues to grow. This home was not at all move in ready and the field manager was never seen on site to monitor the contractors and did not fix items throughout the build of the home that were sent to him. We moved in with wet paint and wet grout, have already had a roof leak, and fuses keep shutting off. It has been a horrible experience and I am just praying that everything will be resolved.

This builder employees build managers that are incompetent or just do not care enough. This builder rushes contractors work on the homes that make workmanship inferior. Only bright spot was our build manager Joe Kenny here in South Florida. Worst was first assigned build manager Carson Clemens.

We had to fight for any little change. Make sure you review your plans thoroughly with someone who has experience in home building or real estate. Have a real estate agent represent you. They know the in and outs of building especially if you are not around to monitor the process.

There are a lot of small issue.i can see a push for the timeline to get done before closing. Door painting issue. Counter top issue. Door cannot close easily. AC whistle both inside and outside. Both toilet have issue to fix. Electric outlet issue. Even the window is installed Wrong Still have not replaced yet. 50+ days after closing. Are uou kidding me asking about quality?

Poor Workmanship !!!

Divosta are a friendly team but that doesn’t fix the quality workmanship… When building make sure you visit the site on a weekly basis. Especially before drywall goes up!! Lots of the structure are not installed square. When inspecting everything make sure to take a speed square and a 4 foot level. We have been in our place for 2 months and they are still fixing things. Hope this helps.

This was our first home build. What should have been an exciting time ended up being very disappointing. We had little communication and site manager changes as well as faulty equipment installed in our home. Now we can’t get the fridge we paid for and no one is helping us find a resolution. If you are buying home from Divosta/Pulte - find your own title company, because they will charge you for title insurance. But actually you don't need title insurance with a brand new house. Low quality of kitchen cabinets

The positive is the sales team they have here but the negative is the homes are built very cheaply... doorways and switch plates are crooked and it’s very low end builder grade. We are having to repaint and replace many things to make the house better quality. Disappointed ☹️

Overall, the design of the home is great. There were minor issues upon moving in that could be expected with a new home, however, customer service is horrible. Difficult people to deal with after purchasing - rude and seems to be condescending to women.

Overall we like our new home. One huge problem we have experienced is a horrible interior paint job, window frames around permanent windows look horrible, our outdoor A/C unit has a very loud vibration noise and glue/caulk is all over the floor tiles. We continue to work on the floor ourselves, as it is very unsightly. Currently still waiting for all of our warranty repairs to be completed. Very frustrating.

I was hoping to get the same quality I saw on the model home. It is difficult to see every detail on a short period of time. Once I moved I realized that all openings are cut in diagonal. Even the main door has a triangle on the wall. Sliding doors are not aligned, pocket door in the bathroom detached in the middle of the night within 17 days after moved. The quality control on the construction is terrible. I have never seen a construction like this. Appliances had to be leveled. The appliances cannot be any cheaper. For what we pay to buy one of these houses we should get much more.

Poor customer service in all regards. It seems that now that the real estate market is doing very well, people just don't care. Frankly, it's ridiculous. Poor response to minor issues. They tell you they will take care of it, but never do. One person tells you one thing then the next person says something different. I always thought DiVosta was a quality builder... Boy, was I hoodwinked!!!
