We have had nothing but issues and things cannot be fixed propery the first or even the second time around. For instance, They scratched the word "Clean Me" in our kitchen hood. They finally come to replace it and make a mess of my kitchen to find out they did not have the correct hood to be replaced. Our cooktop was also extremely scratched. The tile/grout work throughout the home is terrible The pavers keep sinking workers cause more damage to home before fixing it takes 2-3 trips for 1 thing to be corrected cabinets have now been ordered 3x we were told that we can fix it, but it will be a pain, so we added caulking instead. There are a few issues that Divosta needs to address. Such as many cupboard door handles banging against wall or doors. Eventually it will start denting very expensive house materials. On lanai and garage conduit running along wall covered with paint. Window not centered in den. After spending nearly a half of a million dollars needs to be more classy and professional.

Buying a DiVosta home was the best decision we made in purchasing a new home. Thank you

Sales person and person from Castle Management have been rude and nasty, which has made this an unpleasant experience.

Excellent quality built. Assigned Field Manager was great, knowledgeable and had concerns fixed promptly. Options are a bit pricy and altering a purchased usually is not permitted.

We just got a big townhouse and I was here watching the construction every week and daily at the end, and these buildings are built well. Solid. Our foreman Andrew was great! That said I have been here two months and the appliances have had to be checked out because they weren't working well, the standard carpet looks about 2 years old (I get its standard, but at this price point the standard should at least make it a year), and of course there is a list of other things that need to be fixed from the warranty department which is annoying. Though nothing major. I will say that the worst part is Pulti Mortgage. If you can pay cash, do it. They give you a credit to use them that basically covers the closing cost, but they were a mess. Cannot get the warranty person at the Lakes to answer emails, answer questions about construction deficiencies or schedule contractors to effect repairs. He even told my wife that our problems were "small ". The problems include issues with the windows, doors, HVAC system, tile floors, paint, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, pavers and landscaping. Repeated questions about when and how these issues will be addressed seem to be ignored. Therefore, although the initial construction and communication were good, follow through after closing has been very difficult and frustrating.

We are so pleased with our new year round home in The Lakes at Waterway Village! The craftsmanship is outstanding! Extremely professional approach, we were in contstant communication with our Project Manager throughout the build. Now that we're in our home we have a contact here in The Lakes that handles the minor followup work that is always needed. We highly recommend DiVosta homes without hesitation.

We had reservations about building in Florida. Thought it would be easier and faster to buy existing. DiVosta made the building new process painless and extremely quick. They accommodated us being out of state and the process from beginning to end was the easiest experience we have ever had. I would not hesitate to do it again or recommend them to others that want a new home.

We have identified more than a dozen material and workmanship issues for which the most critical ones are still unresolved. Its been more than 2 months since these issues have been reported and we have received an extremely slow and low quality response from divosta’s rep and contractors.

The house was filthy and clearly was thrown together by unskilled laborers. This was particularly true with the tile work and grouting. Multiple chipped tiles were installed on the bathroom walls, floor tiles were laid unevenly, grouting is lumpy, inconsistent and varied in color. Managers admitted to us that no supervisor was on-site to oversee the grouting, and agreed that the poor quality grout job encompassed the entire house. When a crew was sent in to address the problems with the tile, they did not protect the tub so it is now scratched and gouged. After efforts to improve the grout, there was little to no improvement in the quality workmanship. The garage door has a large gap which allows bugs and other creatures to enter the garage. The front door does not create a seal allowing light to come in on the bottom corner. The garage entry door is misaligned preventing the lock to engage. The ceiling in the master bathroom bows upward. The sill under the lanai sliders looks as if chunks of cement are missing. We were and continue to be shocked and disappointed that a company that was so highly rated could allow anyone to walk into a brand new home that looked as bad as this. ... More

We are very happy with the entire process from the beginning to present... all of our concerns have been addressed in a timely manner and we have been very happy with each outcome ..

We feel that Divosta built a sound home. There are a few issues as can be expected but we are confident that everything will be resolved.

Not cleaned- dry wall imperfections- paint defects - trim defects - exterior poor paint - garage frequency incorrect - furnace filter dirty- windows sprayed by irrigation stained - cupboard damage kitchen- tape glue on ceramic throughout - and more

We were fortunate to have a great site supervisor, Joe, who kept a watchful eye over every little detail of the build as we were in Michigan during the whole process. When we arrived for the walk thru we were blown away by the details that had all been taken care of. I feel the only negative of the whole experience was the short window we had to decide on all the details of our home and the few choices we were given. To plan your whole home in two hours was not an experience I felt that warranted the amount of money we were spending.

Need to know what does not come home that you have to pay extra for

Building the home went very well. Field manager was great. The only thing that was not explain very well. I was made to understood that shower has a bench seat for $700 dollars. What I got was something that is useable ! My foot just about goes on it. Getting things fixed after moving has been slow but only have been in for 1 month and nothing from the walk through has not been corrected. They say they are working on it.

The home construction and quality was very good but landscape quality was anything but acceptable. Contacted Customer Service and they pushed of on the contract installation company. I contacted the installation company and after 4 weeks no corrective action. Following initial installation, irrigation system was not enabled and shrubs and lawn had no water for 2-3 weeks during daily 90 degree dry conditions. I was told the irrigation control unit was not activated following sod and shrub install. Sad.
