Was disappointed I couldn't use backyard of home after hours for a f0ur person ceremony at my own home.

Overall, I am generally happy with my new home. I still love the floor plan, and I appreciated the support I received from the sales, design, and builder teams throughout the process. My main disappointment is with the execution of the finishing details. For the amount invested to make this home feel customized, the final result does not feel as polished or elevated as I expected. In some areas, it feels more like a spec home than the custom home I envisioned, which makes the overall value feel somewhat overpriced. The paint finish on the kitchen cabinets, primary bathroom cabinets, and window sills remains my biggest disappointment. These areas still do not reflect the ***** of quality I expected from Drees. There are also a few design/specification concerns I have noticed after moving in. The closets in the Jack and Jill bedrooms are too shallow, causing the doors to hit the hangers when opened. The lighting in the primary bedroom makeup/seating area is not sufficient. I also wish the laundry room had been designed smaller, with more of that square footage allocated to the pantry. I also have one outstanding issue that has not yet been resolved: the lockable wine room door. This was reported during the home walk-through, and it remains unresolved more than two months later. In summary, I am happy with the home overall, but disappointed in the final finish quality and some design execution details, especially given the price point and my expectations of Drees as a premium builder. ... Our home is a beautiful one by design but unfortunately not only did we have challenges from the beginning of the sales process, the communication from the partnered mortgage company, the builder, the partnered title company were all super disconnected all the way down to the closing time which was changed and we found out by accident from the sales person. We had post build issues as well and getting the Drees team to get themselves together to get through the challenges has been extremely difficult. The builder was easily accessible, answered all questions in a timely fashion, the subcontractors' work exhibited excellent craftsmanship, and we were extremely pleased with the overall result.

Great sales staff supported us throughout the building process with timely information. The project manager was exceptional as well. Home completed as promised in the timeframe outlined at contract. Service after closing has been excellent with follow ups as promised at Closing.

We purchased a home in Caliterra with Drees, and overall the experience was very positive. From the initial purchase through the final move-in, the process was well managed and clear. Our sales representative, Ryan Pace, was outstanding. He was responsive, supportive, and genuinely cared about meeting our expectations throughout the process. The quality and value of the home have met our expectations, and we are happy with the design, finishes, and overall feel of the community. We’ve never built a brand new home, but dreamed of doing it one day. We didn’t anticipate that time coming with an out of state move. Drees was so pleasant to work with from beginning to end. We were initially concerned that we’d have to make permanent decisions from out of state, and that they wouldn’t turn out favorable due to pics and videos being different from seeing the place in person. We traveled to see the home 3x throughout the process and each time the home looked better and better. And much more in-line with what we were hoping for than in the pics. This was an extremely unique and uncomfortable position to be at first, but Drees put us at peace by their over communication, friendliness and thoroughness. I guess that’s what happens when you have such a great product! When we finally closed, there were a handful of pre-closing inspection items that hadn’t been complete, but they proactively shared dates for when they’d be done and they delivered!! The house is beautiful and over all great quality. As an inventory home, a few things I would have thought to have installed to make the future owner life more practical. As an example, gas outlet for barbecue grill in the outside area. A few windows that open in the living room to have some fresh air coming in and out. Besides these little details accepted as an inventory home, the whole team had always been supportive and great.

My wife and I sold our home in ***** and moved back to *****. As such, we were looking for an inventory home that was ready for immediate move in. We had never seen a Drees Custom Home before and they were the last of numerous builder to look at. We were blown away with all the custom features in the house. Especially, the 8 foot doors, the 10 annd 14 foot ceiling, the Whirlpool appliances (most of all the double oven). Dree’s insulation and HVAC package really impressed me. And we loved the floor plan they had available to buy. We quickly bought the Preswick plan and have made it our incredible home.. ... More

Drees sales staff was great, but the First Equity Mortgage experience was atrocious.

The Drees Team Jillian, Alex and Rey were thorough and responsive to all our requests throughout the buying process. All aspects of the purchase of our home were handled in a professional manner. We would highly recommend families to consider Drees for their next home.

Carlos did a great job during the buying process and was always helpful and responsive. Unfortunately, my experience after closing has been disappointing. I’ve dealt with ongoing roof leaks, water intrusion, interior damage, and concerns about the quality of the repairs. While the sales experience was positive, the issues after closing have taken away from what should have been an exciting homeownership experience.

I was having a really good experience. Trying to get things done after closing has been a hassle. It is very disappointing, very different experience than our 1st house with Drees.

Drees has beautiful homes and nice floor plans which we love about our new home. Quality of work done is pretty good though there are some areas that could improve compared to what we have experienced with other builders. Overall we are very happy

We contracted with Dree’s for their build on your lot program using a Dree’s plan. Like with any business it always comes down to the people. Our builder Graham was very engaged and responsive. We are dealing with some post build issues but we are pleased with the responses to the warranty issues experienced. We would recommend Dree’s based on our experience so far.

Drees really builds a beautiful, and high-quality home! This home was already built, so we did not have input on design choices; and Tara and Jako are amazingly responsive to every question we've had. This has brought such peace-of-mind!

The home buying experience was a good experience

Had a great experience buying our latest home from Drees. It was intended as a inventory home and we came into the picture when the house was almost done. Drees team did everything they can to make as many changes as possible. We are extremely happy. There could have been some changes to the plan but since we were not involved from day 1 this is understandable.

Getting things fixed is taking way to long. Taking 4 to 5 weeks Getting floors fixed counter tops fixed or replaced. Floors are full of glue residue but nobody seems to care. So we have been on our hands and knees trying to clean it ourselves 1 person said aren't you going to put area carpets down anyway. Can't get hold of anyone for days. Even had electrical issues. Just want the stuff fixed is that to much to ask for in a million dollar home.

The sale process was smooth - the salesperson knew the product and helped with picking out colors and features. I was informed weekly during the construction phase, with pictures and descriptions. final walkthrough and closing were efficient.
