This is my 12th home, 7th new build, and by far the best quality and experience with a builder!

Poor communication with what is included in your home versus what was seen in model. Everything was an add on! Not built with senior living in mind. More focus on the details- sales office mediocre at best with direct follow-up and communication. Sent incorrect information on utilities, title location. For the value of this home very average service, this includes the design center. We had a solid onsite supervisor and hope our home was built to surpass our expectations.

Dear Drees Team, I hope this message finds you well. My family and I were quite excited to move into our new home built by your team, especially with our 2-year-old. However, the move was quite challenging as we were managing the move, temporary housing, and caring for our toddler. Initially, everything seemed to be in order, but after a month, we started noticing numerous issues that should have been addressed by the builder as part of quality control. Our home was built within six months, and we can't help but feel it was rushed. Given the $1,259,000 price tag, we had high expectations and never anticipated encountering such sloppy work. For instance, our cabinets need repainting, there's paint splatter, known issues with stained cabinets, and plugs coming out of the ground that haven't been addressed, among a laundry list of other items that require correction. We have been attempting to get these issues fixed, but the process has been extremely slow, and we are being asked to wait until the 11-month inspection. Issues that were identified before closing still haven't been resolved, and we find ourselves having to repeatedly explain the problems. This ongoing situation has left us with a continuous trail of dust and mess as we try to get these issues addressed. It has been a tedious process, and we still haven't been provided with a clear and concise plan to rectify these issues, which is frustrating on many levels. We kindly request a more immediate and effective resolution plan. We understand that some issues may take time, but clear communication and a proactive approach would go a long way in alleviating our frustrations. Really enjoyed the service and craftsmanship in building our new home. The team at Drees was very helpful, guided us through every step, and were responsive to all our questions. We’ve been in the home three months with zero problems.

Drees Homes was great to work with. They are a quality builder. They have great people and systems. They have many options for upgrades to finish your house the way you want. For the minor issues we had they have been responsive and taken care of them quickly. We would do business with them again.

Jake, Kade & Mike have been awesome to work with. All of our concerns have been addressed in a prompt and timely manner. The home was presented very professionally by them. We bought our house in November. My wife and i are very happy so far.

There is nothing "custom" about these homes. Worst quality work. Customer service very response but craftsmanship for a "custom" builder is 1000% missing. If they all truly care about customers, they need to visit their customers to review quality of work instead of sending surveys.. which I doubt will happen.

I've been through couple new home buying process in my life time. Overall experience with Drees was fantastic from start to finish and I have to say it was the best I had. Anything you ask, Drees will try to accommodate your request (since its a custom home builder). Quick responses and great customer service before and AFTER closing.

Drees builds a solid house, but they need to pay attention to the details and their contractors. When you buy a $1.5 million dollar home, you shouldn’t have to worry about brick defects or scratches on window frames, shelves, and gutters. Also, concrete work had many defects, scratches, and cracks. Drees does their best to make things right, but if they just slowed down and focused more on details they’d be great. Still probably one of the best builders in the area.

this home looks great, built nicely and service by builder seems good, this said, there are few items, which one would have expected to be handled better, from the beginning , the yard which has sod planted all over it, was graded poorly, and accumulates water in areas that are swamp like. the soil once one tries to plant anything, and is being dug is full of construction debris, cement, etc. a bit more attention, at the stage before sod is laid over to hide everything, would have gone long way in quality on the long run. the other item, is the "SMART HOME" equipment which the builder provides, is a far cry behind the standard of the industry, Camera door bell is really low quality, practically a joke-you can see people by your door, but you can not hear the talking, also WiFi coverage provided by infrastructure builder wired, is sub standard, one story home does not have coverage at the Garage. Bottomline we have to take all of their system out and replace with other maker equipment. all this said and mentioned, this is a GREAT HOME! ... More

Sales staff is fantastic and we are overall happy with our new home. However, we are disappointed in the overall craftsmanship and time to address issues and the “punch list”.

Too many things promised leaving us without in the end. They seemed to rush through process without fully knowing enough to explain items/not allowing the experts such as tradesmen to fix issues. They hired handy man which showed the below average work that they wanted us to settle for.

Andrew was and remains a great person to work with. He is extremely knowledgable and friendly. His professionalism and patience was invaluable to easing my concerns about a major purchase. I appreciate his continued assistance.

Visited many home builders but Drees Homes is by far the Best in Style, quality craftsmanship, customer service. Greg and Linda were outstanding. Highly recommend Drees Homes for anyone that wants a new home and the best in customer service. My family and I love our new home!

Overall home buying experience was good. We would have appreciated more options so as to avoid having to bring in contractors to finish what could have been done at the beginning.

I closed on my new custom home with Drees in July, and unfortunately my experience since then has been very disappointing. At closing, my driveway was covered in dirt, and I was assured it would be power washed after 30 days to protect my new sod. When they finally did, the driveway remained permanently stained due to dirt sitting for weeks on porous concrete and heavy machinery driving over it. Drees has been aware of this issue for over 30 days, and I have reached out to the CEO’s office several times, yet the issue remains unresolved. For a brand-new custom home, a blotchy, stained driveway is simply unacceptable, and the lack of accountability has been extremely frustrating. On top of that, months later I am still waiting for my punch list items to be completed. The delays and lack of follow-through are not what you would expect from a company that promises quality and customer service. When you purchase a new home from a builder like Drees, you expect quality, transparency, and timely resolution of issues. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. Attention to detail is poor

Excellent experience from first meeting with sales through closing.

Mixed process with builder. Unimpressed with quality of build and the number of problems that have come up after just 2 months.

Overall, anyone we have interacted with at Drees, from the sales representative, to the builder, to the sub-contractors, they all actually care about your feelings toward them and the home you have purchased. I chose the word home and not house, because they are genuinely interested in you loving their product and making things right for you so that you in turn love your home. This commitment follows through to post-purchase as well.

From the sale phase all the way to the moving / inspection my experience with Drees was fantastic. Great communication during construction and all our comments were addressed immediately. The quality of the materials and finishes are also superb. I would definitely recommend Drees to any one !
