Good experience overall. Did have a few issues along they way, but all addressed. Good communication with builder and sales team throughout the process.

Overall great experience. My wife and I really enjoyed working with Cory and Coby at Pecan Square.

Offers excellent sales experience as we bought a home 100% virtual. We wish Drees has some kind of software that allows us to visualize the different options and how it looks (something to improve on). The workmanship quality is generally good, but it's a hit-or-miss. The builder is responsive and followed through with our concerns after closing.

The builder has dedicated professional personnel. The company is truly a custom builder, being very flexible and ready to accommodate their client's wishes.

I would highly recommend them to any one who is looking for a trust worthy builder.

We love our new house. Quality of the materials used is great. Few ups and down during the build, but overall experience was great.

I had a great experience as a first time house buyer

Sales staff is fantastic and we are overall happy with our new home. However, we are disappointed in the overall craftsmanship and time to address issues and the “punch list”.

Had a great experience working with the sales team & the design center. Builder was very proactive in providing weekly updates on progress throughout the build phase. However, have been disappointed with the workmanship even though the materials used are good quality generally. Had multiple electrical issues, wiring not done right, wiring not done at all etc. Floor tiling is warped in a couple of rooms and needs to be done again. Flooring & Skirting is not done right and had to be done again in couple of rooms. Couple of walls were not straight that had to be fixed. However, the builder & the warranty team has been very responsive in acknowledging the defects and scheduling the appropriate fixes. Special mention to warranty team for sending out instructions to prepare the house before the freeze. Did not have a good experience working with the affiliated lender, would have expected lender to have good financial acumen but was found wanting in knowledge. ... More

Matt, the superintendent has gone above and beyond. He is sure to give daily updates on post move in issues and is in the know about everything. Matt is awesome and a pleasure to work with. Floors Inc has been awful. Between their rudness, lack of care, excuses and Will Sumers; my view on Drees has dropped.

They have a good product, but maybe it's because of COVID. This is my 3rd new build and I have been disappointed with workmanship of the house and the response from the builder to fix it in timely manner.

We closed in our home end of march and during our final walkthrough we noticed our driveway and walkway had some patches. We didn’t think anything of it but as the rain days came through the patches started to come off and now we noticed the missing chunks and pitting from the missing concrete. This also happened in our back yard patio from the poor quality of the concrete pour or craftsmanship. We have complained about it and all Drees wants to do is patch it again which will not fix the problem. And even so for a new construction home how can this be acceptable a few months in terms of aesthetic. Also on all the interior doors the top part of the trim isn’t caulked not sure if they were trying to save time/money or they didn’t have a long enough ladder. The top high windows the bottom section wasn’t caulked or sealed in the bottom. Another item is the floor tiles in the guest bathroom started to crack. I can also tell that the base board and doors weren’t properly prep before painting because paint started peeling off on doors and there’s pieces of texture compound left on baseboard that got painted over. Last our yard was left with a lot of high and low spots needs to be leveled. Overall I think this is all related to poor craftsmanship for our home. Still waiting for a lot of small things to be finished. Rate in witch repairs are done is slow or the people sent are unable to do work Our cabinets have look like garbage since we have moved in the repairs made them look worse

this home looks great, built nicely and service by builder seems good, this said, there are few items, which one would have expected to be handled better, from the beginning , the yard which has sod planted all over it, was graded poorly, and accumulates water in areas that are swamp like. the soil once one tries to plant anything, and is being dug is full of construction debris, cement, etc. a bit more attention, at the stage before sod is laid over to hide everything, would have gone long way in quality on the long run. the other item, is the "SMART HOME" equipment which the builder provides, is a far cry behind the standard of the industry, Camera door bell is really low quality, practically a joke-you can see people by your door, but you can not hear the talking, also WiFi coverage provided by infrastructure builder wired, is sub standard, one story home does not have coverage at the Garage. Bottomline we have to take all of their system out and replace with other maker equipment. all this said and mentioned, this is a GREAT HOME! ... More

Everyone at Drees is excellent to work with, but there were some issues with workmanship. Luckily the warranty took care of the issues but that took time and effort to get resolved. The value offered was good as this was an existing home, but I would expect no to find the larger issues (laundry drain plugged, window leaking slightly, ) upon move in.

We had to be on top all the design selections that are actually installed. Some items were missing after moving in and had to reach builder to remind installation. It was a bit of confusing communicating with builder directly so best bet is to call Drees customer services reps as they quickly address any issues after move-in. Overall , experience is great.

Good house plans and good Viridian subdivision

Overall the house is great.

Purchased my home in Oct22, closed Jul23. During Oct - June it was the normal weekly updates with very few delays due to circumstances outside builder control. However, my close was a nightmare as a result of the builder's affiliate lender forgetting the original closing date, showing it as a week later than originally scheduled. Because of this I was unable to close on my original close date and incurred thousands of dollars in additional moving expenses just by them having the wrong closing date. Since the close most of the issues I've had with my home within the first couple months have handled by Drees in adequate time and is always very pleasant & courteous to deal with. ... More

Construction project manager was very responsive. Closing was a breeze

On-site builder was good, salesman was not. He was not responsive and not our advocate. Design center was average. Needs more reasonable choices.

This is actually our 2nd Drees Home build (30 years after the 1st one !), and they did not disappoint. Guided by their enduring corporate values focused on clients, they continue to be one of the most high quality, dependable, and trustworthy custom home builders. Building through a Pandemic with supply chain disruptions is challenging, but Matt and Eric were fabulous to work with and very responsive to our concerns. We are 2 months post closing, but they remain in touch to ensure things are working and patch up paint and other things to our liking. Trustworthy, high quality, and dependable may sound boring and old fashioned - but to me they are the most crucial attributes in a builder, considering a home is likely the most expensive thing any family will ever buy. ...
