Our builder, Keith, kept us informed at every step of the construction process and acted quickly and efficiently on our feedback and concerns. We would definitely recommend buying a home with Drees Homes to our friends and family!

I donhave a Good experience

Very disappointed with Drees Homes. I’ve had ongoing basement leaks, and even after multiple repair attempts, the issue is still not resolved — and now there’s a new leak. I’m also dealing with fireplace problems that have taken an extremely long time to address. Response time and communication have been very slow. For a new home, I expected much better quality and customer service

I felt customer service took a back seat to Drees desire for additional fees (Profit)

Great final product. I love everything about my new home! Wonderful experience. Wonderful people to work with from start to finish. Always kept up-to-date during the process. I would highly recommend.

Our house is beautiful from upstairs in the beautiful kitchen to downstairs. In the cozy comfy basement, we love it.

Sales reps were nice. Project manager was good. Quality workmanship was questionable. Many things are not correct. Gas fireplace doesn’t work. Microwave is giving error codes. Cracks in foundation with leaks. Scratches on front and back doors, so they needed to be replaced. Fusion wiring was faulty and needed to be replaced. Fusion sensor at back doo r does not work correctly now. Never had so many issues when buying a new home. Everyone is nice though and they come back to try to remedy the situation. Hopefully it will all be taken care of.

I will not purchase from another builder in my lifetime. I have loved the experience with Drees Homes from start to finish. Every person involved throughout the process treated me like family. Truly cared about ME and that was so impressive. And now that I’m in my new home, I LOVE it.!

Dave was very informative and helpful with what to expect when moving into my Townhome. My salesman was doing his best, but not quite up to speed on what to expect when moving here.

Jason, Keith and Joey made the building process work out great and all did an excellent job..

Michael was great to work with - if an issue arose he was on top of it immediately. We were very impressed with his coordination of all the sub-contractors to complete our home on time. The one item that needs to be addressed is the lack of communication between David, the Design Center consultant, and Michael. One would we would have a mantle on the fireplace while the other would say no to a mantle and it would not be included in the house. One would say we would not have an arch going into the dining room. We ended up with an arch but not knowing was frustrating.It was evident that the right hand didn’t know what the left was doing. I suggest a meeting with all involved with the building of a home should sit down together to confirm what the new homeowners should expect would be very beneficial and would eliminate some of the stress in building a new home. ... The condo choices were all great options. We found one that perfectly suited our wish list. All the extras in the condo and the Drees employees (especially Sam Z) have been fantastic. We found a few craftsmanship issues, that have been corrected. Also need more parking pads and wish Drees was open to us having a club house (want from the residents). But the pool and community so far are like living in paradise.

Although our villa was already built from our interaction with sales to our closing everything on the Drees end was flawless and a great experience. We had to change closing by a day and they were very nice in accommodating. Their program for contingency buying g helped us from having to take a bridge loan. We only had a few issues on move in that were minor and fixed within a day. Highly recommend

We have had difficulty getting issues resolved such as drainage issues off of roof, back yard is a mess with weeds and soil is so hard grass would not grow. Company seems to short change certain areas instead of putting worth a real value for price paid

We deeply regret not becoming more educated about how language used by realtors, builder-affiliated loan officers, purchase agreements, and even walk-through documentation can be framed to appear routine while hiding details—like room measurements that include walls and staircases rather than living space, or fees like rate locks disclosed only after commitment—leaving us paying for things we never truly received, yet always explained away with polished ease. This experience has cost us far more than we ever expected, emotionally and financially.

I have worked with reliable people throughout the process. It is stressful but rewarding.

We had a great experience building our new home. From planning our home to the design phase and then the construction everything was incredible. Communication was exceptional. We love our new home and even after closing customer care has been fabulous. Thank you for bringing our dream to reality!

Exactly what we were looking for at exactly the right time. Sales folks were knowledgeable and friendly, post sale warranty team rocks!

Love our new home. However, there were lots of maintenance items after we moved in. We have been here for four months and we are still waiting for some outside items to be completed. Also, during the last month, new problems have surfaced inside. The items that have been addressed so far are mediocre at best. This home doesn't compare to the quality of the home we sold.

Initially we signed for a home only to discover during our home inspection that the roof was incorrectly installed and there was a leak. There was water damage to multiple areas and materials to the home. A couple weeks later we stopped by the house and discovered the sump pump failed and flooded the partially finished basement. Drees fixed the issues (and a few others discovered on the inspection) but we pulled out from this house. We ended up getting another home which we haven't had many issues with but communication is terrible. We are still waiting for the yard to be placed and receive no updates unless we initiate communication. Overall I would recommend doing your research before deciding on a builder. ... More

Have had many issues during the build and also issues after. The order in which houses get different things doesnt make sense. Our yard has not been finished yet and we are living in our house, but someone who's house is just now being finished is getting a yard. For the price you pay for the house, there is lots of imperfections and below expectations on the quality. Even with upgraded paint, you cant clean it without causing discoloration. cabinets have nicks and dings all over them. Things you pay for upgrades dont get done and they are only corrected or refunded if you bring it to their attention. ... More
