The condo choices were all great options. We found one that perfectly suited our wish list. All the extras in the condo and the Drees employees (especially Sam Z) have been fantastic. We found a few craftsmanship issues, that have been corrected. Also need more parking pads and wish Drees was open to us having a club house (want from the residents). But the pool and community so far are like living in paradise.

Although our villa was already built from our interaction with sales to our closing everything on the Drees end was flawless and a great experience. We had to change closing by a day and they were very nice in accommodating. Their program for contingency buying g helped us from having to take a bridge loan. We only had a few issues on move in that were minor and fixed within a day. Highly recommend

We have had difficulty getting issues resolved such as drainage issues off of roof, back yard is a mess with weeds and soil is so hard grass would not grow. Company seems to short change certain areas instead of putting worth a real value for price paid

We deeply regret not becoming more educated about how language used by realtors, builder-affiliated loan officers, purchase agreements, and even walk-through documentation can be framed to appear routine while hiding details—like room measurements that include walls and staircases rather than living space, or fees like rate locks disclosed only after commitment—leaving us paying for things we never truly received, yet always explained away with polished ease. This experience has cost us far more than we ever expected, emotionally and financially.

We had a great experience building our new home. From planning our home to the design phase and then the construction everything was incredible. Communication was exceptional. We love our new home and even after closing customer care has been fabulous. Thank you for bringing our dream to reality!

Exactly what we were looking for at exactly the right time. Sales folks were knowledgeable and friendly, post sale warranty team rocks!

Love our new home. However, there were lots of maintenance items after we moved in. We have been here for four months and we are still waiting for some outside items to be completed. Also, during the last month, new problems have surfaced inside. The items that have been addressed so far are mediocre at best. This home doesn't compare to the quality of the home we sold.

Initially we signed for a home only to discover during our home inspection that the roof was incorrectly installed and there was a leak. There was water damage to multiple areas and materials to the home. A couple weeks later we stopped by the house and discovered the sump pump failed and flooded the partially finished basement. Drees fixed the issues (and a few others discovered on the inspection) but we pulled out from this house. We ended up getting another home which we haven't had many issues with but communication is terrible. Have had many issues during the build and also issues after. The order in which houses get different things doesnt make sense. Our yard has not been finished yet and we are living in our house, but someone who's house is just now being finished is getting a yard. For the price you pay for the house, there is lots of imperfections and below expectations on the quality. Even with upgraded paint, you cant clean it without causing discoloration. cabinets have nicks and dings all over them. Things you pay for upgrades dont get done and they are only corrected or refunded if you bring it to their attention. ... More

Problems after closing were never completed

They nickel and dime you and at the end of the day you end up replacing showerhead etc.

I would highly recommend using Drees as your builder. The craftsmanship is top notch.

Everything was good until we closed. Once we closed, outstanding issues have been pushed to the back burner. We’ve had to repeated ask for follow up. We have major drainage issues in our yard which have yet to be resolved. Concrete subs were terrible. Porch step has yet to be redone and repoured because it was done incorrectly. All of the extenuating issues have outweigh the good at this point.

Get everything in writing. After you sign reality sets in. Market manger’s job is to sell regardless of integrity.

Drees does not respect the customers time from scheduling meetings, contractors showing up without prior notification post-close, to lawn completion. We have been left with a dirt yard for going on 3 months after closing. For dog owners, this defeats the purpose of purchasing a home and has left us with an absolutely miserable experience. We have had to take time from work, rearrange schedules, and make arrangements for our dogs to be cared for with no end in sight. While we are incredibly happy with the quality, our experience has overshadowed the quality leaving us regretting our purchase. ... More

The quality of finish work was subpar and disappointing. There was a general lack of quality control in finishing our home. It has required numerous onsite visits by Drees and their subcontractors. For the amount paid, new construction homes should have much better quality. We understand in any new construction there wilkl be minor items, but our home had everyting from poor flooring installation, forgotten items, poor HVAC, missing critical mechanical items, severely poor drywall and mud work, tile and chauking and grout work was sloppy. Overall, we regret our purchase of this Drees home.

Our builder was great to work with. He kept us up to date on the progress during the build and addressed any questions or concerns we had in a very timely manner.

For what we spent on our new house, it's really good. Some inconsistent communication btw original sales person, building sup, new sales person...
