My experience is mostly positive: sales representative is very knowledgeable and accommodating, design center experience was good also. My disappointment is in the quality of workmanship and materials on a few items. Interior doors are especially poor quality and almost all in need of touch up/ repair from rough defects from manufacturing. Poor workmanship of caulking around windows and exterior lights.

We have already submitted a very detailed review to Drees Homes. In a nutshell, we love the construction, the process, the communication from Nick; the house is solidly built and there are hardly any issues (cosmetic issues will pop up but no construction issues). Beverly did well at the design center. For most part, Kristi in sales did well as well. Tammy and John in customer-care are on top of all of our needs. Financing process was smooth; the execution was horrible. Few areas where things should improve: 1. We had requested for dual-zone dual-HVAC system. We were told flat-out that Drees does not offer that option. We were sold a dual-zone single-HVAC solution. Nearing the end of construction, we saw the house across the street was installed with dual-zone dual-HVAC system. We were blatantly misled and sold what sales wanted to sell. 2. In addition to the Design Center options, let us know we can purchase items from outside vendors (Menards, Home Depot, Floor/Tile shops, etc.) and give us allowances so we can truly make this our home with items that were more relatable to us. 3. Steve at 1st Equity did well during the process. Unfortunately, FEM did not manage its partner Huntington Bank well and we had one of the worst experiences EVER on closing day. Choose better, more reliable partners. 4. Lay out the process of the closing day as it is an important day for Drees and buyers. We had people walking in/out of the room without introductions or why they were there, including whom or what they represented. Few fixes and Drees will provide a solid experience! ... More

The warranty page is mostly exclusions and legalese , and it basically left to their discretion as to how to interpret the validity of your complaint. They have standard reasons why a defect/quality/workmanship is not covered , even if you know that was not the reason. They will quickly cover the small stuff..faucets , trim,lights, paint etc. But Structural cracks, leaks ,foundation etc..are bit more of a heartburn.They will cover leaks for a year, by getting the crack filled from inside ( 1/2 hr job ) and the repair contractor supposedly covers those specific repair locations for 10 years. But after 4 or 5 basement leaks in 2 months , your confidence in the value of investing in a new home is not exactly soaring. If you thought a new home is relatively trouble free , think again. ... They work very fast and friendly professional job

We have had a good experience just some issues with water leaking and haven’t had as much help with that as we should have for a 3 month old house.

Very bad experience with the Drees mortgage. Sales person Susan was great and knowledgable and builder Keith was very helpful through out the whole process.

All of the Drees people were professional, well prepared to answer any and all questions or concerns, and rapidly responded to any concern. I am totally happy and impressed with this build and resulting property we now call home.

Our builder Michael was great to work with and has addressed all of our concerns and issues since we moved in.

Treamore is a niche neighborhood, proximity, good schools. Would be wonderful & complete if DREES can carve out space for a play area & tennis/basketball courts.

We worked with our sales agent for over a year before we decided to build at The Parks at Carriage Crossings. She kept us informed and no matter how many questions we had during the pre-contract stage, she was prompt in responding via text or email. My husband and I are so pleased to be living here. Our dreams have come true.

We love harmony bluffs we have a beautiful view of the lake and wild life.

We do not recommend building with Drees.

Everyone on my Drees Home building team was Great. I was treated very well. The craftsmanship of my Home was second to none. The quality of materials used from my selections are excellent..

Our Sales Lady Melanie was a pro’s pro with us the entire way. Nate & Evan our builders had excellent communication and extremely responsive to ALL matters! It was a wonderful experience for us.

Overall been very pleased with our purchase

I had heard so many nightmare stories about the process of working with a big builder through the new home building experience. Our experience was the exact opposite. From the sales cycle through the selections process and the walk through... the experience was pleasant. I will admit that one thing that made that process less stressful was being permitted to walk through the house at anytime during the construction phase. I was able to go in and measure for blinds, or furniture, or see where certain outlets were located, or where there was extra bracing in the framing of certain walls, etc. Overall job well done on all parties involved. If I was forced to highlight something negative, I would say that there were certain features that we wanted that Drees would not do. For example, adding an electrical circuit for a hot tub on the patio, or adding outlets on the floor of the office. There were some features that are even in their model home, but they don't offer to provide in a new build. Beyond that... everything was great. We love our new townhouse. ... More

Both of our build project managers were very engaged and easy to work with!

The process of picking the lot with Holly from Texas was challenging, but once we arrived in the area she made the process seamless. Holly gave us suggestion we had not thought of making this home very comfortable. The next step was meeting and working with Paul the builder. This guy is very professional, would take care of issues we brought up quickly and found issues we did not see. Guy is experienced and superb in his profession and is a valuable asset to Drees.

We couldn’t have had a better experience with Drees! We purchased a market home which was at foundation. So the building process was an absolute breeze! We worked with Shelly from the beginning and she was amazing! So knowledgeable, professional, kind, and easy to work with! Our contractor, Gary, was incredible! Kept us in the loop at all times, whenever we noticed something on the house he was always 3 steps ahead of us. Truly an incredible experience!

Keith, Chad and Jack have answered every question and fixed any issue we’ve had. We love this community.

Jack was easy to work with and answered all my questions. He was very helpful and polite . I was very impressed that he was so easy to talk to and always took the time to answer my questions.

Drees gave us everything we wanted in our dream home. The buying and designing process was easy and fun. The final product is quality and comfort. We will be in this home for years to come.

Team Drees has been sensational. The homebuilding experience is the most emotional financial investment and when you have a team that treats you like you are the only client, it makes the experience all that more comfortable.

We have not gone through a home purchase for 33 years. Our purchase with Drees was great. The workmanship is top notch. Sales person was extremely helpful. Our unit is call The Ventura. Three bedrooms and three baths. We are very satisfied with Drees.
