I would rate my overall experience with Drees as a 10. The reason for this rating is due to the professionalism, openness and genuine experience I have/had with everyone I have come in contact with. As a homeowner purchasing your first home and building it from the ground up, can be overwhelming on all fronts. As a builder, Drees truly made it less daunting and provide experience, knowledge and wisdom to overcome some issues and ensure we stayed on target for closing. The reason for the two four stars is due to follow through and details. As one who is detail orient it is hard to overlook some of the simple details that went undone and had to be redone or fixed. One might say that is a reflection on Drees because of the contractors they use, but I say it is the contractor as well. Drees could hire the best contractors out there, but they can't control who the contractor sends into your home (mine you they are not just contracted to your home especially when they are new builds) to do the work. They have been very attentive about making sure they come back out and make the corrections. With that, value is based on quality and workmanship. I love my Drees homes. I bought this house once it was built. We were impressed with the upgrades and craftsmanship.

Very pleased with the quality of our Drees home. All of the staff we encountered were top notch, very responsive and knowledgeable. I would recommend Drees to any homebuyer.

Everyone from our sales agent to the construction supervisor was awesome! They helped us through every step, explained everything we needed to know, and when we pointed out any issues, they responded quickly and got them fixed. They really are focused on making sure you're happy with your new home!

We fell in love with the floor plan options, style and modern feel of Drees Homes. We felt the quality, plus the Customization and design options, filled our desire to building a home.

The builder was on-site everyday and very responsive to our needs. We were on a deadline and he delivered even during some of the most difficult times. I deducted one star for the workmanship and I feel this is directly related to the pandemic. It is so difficult to find labor right now and this led to a slight decrease in the quality of the final finishes. These were easily corrected though after we moved in. The workers doing the initial framing and structural build of the home were fantastic. Very pleased with the Drees Team!

Everything has been good except slow taking care of a few problems

An excellent experience with the builder and a high quality product.

The open floor plan is very good, comfortable, practical and modern. I loved that I could choose the colors, flooring and the kitchen cabinets package. The selling team was great, very professional and always responded in timely manner if I had any questions. The two months check was done professionally on time and the issues were fixed fast. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend Drees to others.. Thank you!

Laundry room door needed to be relocated to allow access to the washing machine. Drees very helpful but still waiting for the repair probably due to current shortage of workers.

Overall great experience. But we felt like there's a disconnect between the salesperson and the design center specialist/package.

Overall, 4.5 stars. We were very lucky to have an incredible Market Manager, Designer, and Builder. Best in the business! Upper management for Drees falls short of listening to their team and understanding the real issues in the field and the customers concerns.

I am concerned about drop off from porch to patio which is dangerous but manager tells me it is up to code also no handrail by existing step that was untreated also dangerous

We are very pleased with our Drees experience. From sales, to building, to warranty, expectations were clear. Our many questions and issues were addressed quickly along the way. The home quality is superb, no complaints.

With any new home construction, we had small issues. And, we have had some very minor after close issues. The people at Drees from the on site manager to the warranty people have been there for us every step of the way.

We were treated well by the Drees staff, just disappointed on the quality of the interior drywall work given the price of the home.

We have had a good experience just some issues with water leaking and haven’t had as much help with that as we should have for a 3 month old house.

I have so much love for our new home but there are things. That the builder did or missed that now that I’m living in the home just make me feel the value for every dollar spent is not equal. The paint quality absolutely stinks I’ve only been in the home 2 months and it’s terrible everywhere. If you have kids it’s going to suck. So I’m aware that after drywall touch up I’m stuck paying to repaint with better paint. The electrical work is absolutely terrible I’m finishing a room downstairs myself as I have the skill set and I work in electrical utility. They literally rammed all the electrical circuits through a single knock out in the panel and no organizing of the wires at all. When my home failed the framing inspection the electricians pulled the wires back out of the Joist and upon returning the wires they just tacked them up to the underside of the joist. Just terrible workmanship. This is just a few of the things that I don’t feel I got the value for the money I spent. I've learned not to trust a builder; especially when they continue to tell you to trust the process and I promise over and over again. Way too many issues that should have been taken care of before closing, and three months into it are still not taken care of. I could keep going but the title speaks for itself.

We can design the house the way we want and the house is part of a community. The process of designing the house is awesome. If we have a idea they will help us to build that.

The buying process was a breeze with Drees We are still working thru some issues at day 50

The purchase of the home was good. Drees needs better quality review in the building process. They should listen to their Builders, when they have problems with the contractors. Need better contractors to do better workmanship
