Coming from out of town the thought of building in a different state was a little daunting. Our realtor told us countless times how great Drees was and they did not disappoint! From the initial site visit to closing, every single step and part of the process was seamless! Both Brett and Nick were available for any questions, concerns, or needs along the way. The process Drees has set up is just amazing. It made us fee so comfortable, in control and involved during the entire build. The follow through and follow up in the final weeks leading to closing and the weeks after closing has been just amazing. Debra was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her positive energy and attention to detail made the process so easy. Once I had signed my contract, the builder sent me weekly updates on the progress of my home build. These updates were extremely important to me since I was living in California at the time. Upon closing, Joe was instrumental in making sure the home was up to standard and in tiptop shape. A great team and a great experience. I highly recommend Drees Homes.

For several months after we moved in the adjacent house was under construction by Drees. Scaffolding and materials were placed on our property and in our driveway without asking our permission. On at least a half dozen occasions I picked up a number of nails from our driveway as well as stones and other debris. Drees literature states that lots are properly graded to deal with runoff… NOT true! Our neighboring lot slopes into ours and there is a flat area where water collects and does not drain as the underlying soil is clay. I spoke with several Drees managers with zero success in having this corrected. Finally, a work order to have some “clean-up” done on our side yard remains open… I have contacted the construction manager several times with no response. ... More

DRESS customer support doesn’t stop once you pay for the house and move in. Really impressed with how concerned DRESS is with my overall satisfaction now that I’m living in the house. My wife and I are so happy we bought a DRESS home.

The process with Drees was great. We had stopped technically looking since we had not seen anything we were in LOVE with. One rainy weekend, we decided to go look at the model and fell in love. 2 short months later, we were moving into our new build home with very minimal issues and imperfections. Our GC through Drees was EXCELLENT and super caring and always willing to take a few minutes to help answer our questions and address anything needing attention.

Overall a great experience buying a home Drees. Just make sure you double-check what your monthly payments will be, including HOA fees.

Michelle was very kind and thorough when purchasing /selecting our home. Derrick called every week to keep us informed on the building process. We love our home!

My wife so loves the big kitchen, the floor used high quality materials and without squeezing noise, it has a lot of big windows which brings in brighter light and look thru windows with better viewing.

When we moved in we were elated at the prospect of peace and quiet in our beautiful home. I am a very handy man and probably would have been a carpenter if it weren't for my nagging back injury suffered many years ago. My wife and our college age son moved in and immediately we had a problem with hot water heater the Drees team went into action getting a plumber out to chg the all of the heating elements. The sudden and serious AC partial failure in the midst of one of the hottest summers on record was approached with poise and professionalism by again the Drees team (Customer service professional and her Supervisor) They made sure AC company came out until we were somewhat cooled. Buying a Drees home in Belmont has been a great experience with a new home. The responsiveness of Joe, James and Ryan has been excellent. There are always things that require attention, but James and Ryan were very helpful to get the little things sorted out. As this being my first new house I feel this house, with all the amenities is our dream home and we plan to be here forever.

Although I'm quite disappointed by the state of the exterior of my house and the current status of the yard work and landscaping, my interactions with Drees employees has been very good, especially with Peppe. Every time I have an issue I reach out to him and he responds back right away and has been relentless in trying to make sure my issues are resolved. My major issues with the process is defintiely with the exterior of the house. The yard has been left in disaray and the landscaping looks incomplete, messy, trees have been cut to the stump, sidewalk all dug up, with no answers on when it will be done. ... More
