Document every conversation and stay on top of everything throughout the process. Inspect the home in DETAIL before you close. We did not feel as if our concerns were heard during the build and many are still being completely disregarded now that we have closed. Best of luck!

If you want a home that is full of unskilled workmanship for a premium price, then by all means buy from them. If you want to spend the first several months angry over all the items that were not finished before you moved in that you can’t get an estimate on when or if they ever will be done then go ahead. Our brand new driveway is crumbling apart, they do no soil prep, give you a lot full of rocks…not a yard, they push closing so they can get that 2% commission, they don’t care if you’re not happy with the finish work (they promise to make a list and come back to fix at a future date, hope ...

Only one issue we had is when the lumber was outside during construction in winter they don't use it immediately after calling and telling them as it may get bad, I would recommend them not to leave the lumber outside too long before using,

We were constantly advised that issues would be taken care of, however, they were not. Too many issues for a home that you are paying a half million dollars for. Items that were supposed to be handled within two weeks of closing have still not been taken care of almost three months later. Just too many headaches and issues.

Everyone from our sales agent to the construction supervisor was awesome! They helped us through every step, explained everything we needed to know, and when we pointed out any issues, they responded quickly and got them fixed. They really are focused on making sure you're happy with your new home!

The builder was on-site everyday and very responsive to our needs. We were on a deadline and he delivered even during some of the most difficult times. I deducted one star for the workmanship and I feel this is directly related to the pandemic. It is so difficult to find labor right now and this led to a slight decrease in the quality of the final finishes. These were easily corrected though after we moved in. The workers doing the initial framing and structural build of the home were fantastic. Very pleased with the Drees Team!

Drees builds beautiful homes. Some things are options that should be standard (i.e. overhead lights in all bedrooms). Lots are too small, can't fit a full size truck in the garage. Some items are still not fixed months after moving in.
