We were very pleased with the overall experience of building our new home with Drees. As we did not live near the building site of our new home, Drees did a good job of keeping us informed of the progress of our build and answered any questions or concerns we had throughout the build. Even after closing and moving in, Drees stayed present and took care of any issues we had. We would recommend Drees Homes for your new home.

Rob and Brett were amazing throughout the entire process. Very responsive and always on top of it. Unfortunately the ceilings in our house showed the drywall seams pretty bad. We have had numerous people come in to fix the issue but the upstairs ceiling drywall seams are still very visible. Disappointing.

I would highly recommend using Drees as your builder. The craftsmanship is top notch.

Everything was good until we closed. Once we closed, outstanding issues have been pushed to the back burner. We’ve had to repeated ask for follow up. We have major drainage issues in our yard which have yet to be resolved. Concrete subs were terrible. Porch step has yet to be redone and repoured because it was done incorrectly. All of the extenuating issues have outweigh the good at this point.

Get everything in writing. After you sign reality sets in. Market manger’s job is to sell regardless of integrity.

Drees does not respect the customers time from scheduling meetings, contractors showing up without prior notification post-close, to lawn completion. We have been left with a dirt yard for going on 3 months after closing. For dog owners, this defeats the purpose of purchasing a home and has left us with an absolutely miserable experience. We have had to take time from work, rearrange schedules, and make arrangements for our dogs to be cared for with no end in sight. While we are incredibly happy with the quality, our experience has overshadowed the quality leaving us regretting our purchase. ... More

Drees advertise as Custom Home builder. But they only allow minor tweaks in plans. Their original plans lack modern layouts, fancy elevations and open plans. Lot of wasted attic spaces. Literally filled the useful area under extended living with dirt, instead of using that space. Lot of design choices, but it can make the life very cumbersome with design centers. Their basic selections are old style and dated. Ex; Old style switches, very traditional light fixtures, trims etc. We have to buy upto new styles and materials. I have to pay up a lot to bring it to Toll Brothers style. Elevations are dated too. Not much choices there. Essentially a good builder, but dated choices with Materials and Floor Plans. Also they dont spend on community signs nor fence the neighborhood etc. Outside your home lot, they are not even leveling or clearing ground or put up a tree line. Responsiveness to issues is very lagging. Some staff are good, some dont even respond to emails/phones. ... More

Drees was a great builder to work with and everyone in the organization was very accommodating

The quality of finish work was subpar and disappointing. There was a general lack of quality control in finishing our home. It has required numerous onsite visits by Drees and their subcontractors. For the amount paid, new construction homes should have much better quality. We understand in any new construction there wilkl be minor items, but our home had everyting from poor flooring installation, forgotten items, poor HVAC, missing critical mechanical items, severely poor drywall and mud work, tile and chauking and grout work was sloppy. Overall, we regret our purchase of this Drees home.

Building with Drees was a great decision. Drees has a process in place that helps the homeowner navigate the entire build. Michele in sales kicked it off and got us started. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The design center to choose all our materials was a good experience. The Construction Manager, Fred, was the very best. He communicated with us the entire time. We got weekly calls with updates. He answered all of our questions and resolved any issues that came up. Fred is a true professional. Marketing Manager – Noah: Noah is truly one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever worked with. He was patient, understanding, honest, and incredibly easy to work with. He clearly communicated all of our options, provided valuable guidance, and was consistently supportive—from the moment we expressed interest in the home all the way through closing. He even remained reachable afterward, which speaks volumes about his dedication. If I could give him 10 stars, I absolutely would! Design Studio – Suzanne: Suzanne was simply amazing.
