This was our first experience building a home, and we initially approached the process with some hesitation due to the many negative stories we had heard from others about their home building experiences. From the very beginning, however, our Sales Counselor, Alecia, along with the entire model home team, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and confident in our decision. It quickly became clear that Highland Homes has a well-defined building process and thoughtfully designed plans, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency—an important priority for us. We were especially fortunate to have Travis as our Construction Manager. He consistently communicated next steps proactively and was patient, accommodating, and highly responsive to our many questions and concerns throughout the build. Despite several change orders we introduced along the way, Travis was able to keep the project on schedule and even completed our home a full month ahead of schedule. We also greatly appreciated the time he took to meet with us in person to walk through maintenance items and provide guidance for long-term care of our home. We could not be more pleased with our Highland home. The quality of workmanship, value for the investment, and the genuine care demonstrated by everyone we worked with exceeded our expectations and made the entire experience very positive. We purchased our Highland Home sight unseen, and from day one we were lucky enough to work with our construction manager, Lane. For months, all of our communication was over email, and he consistently impressed us. His responses were always incredibly in-depth, clear, and timely. He went above and beyond in problem-solving, and even with some last-minute changes, he remained patient, accommodating, and solutions-oriented. When we finally met him in person, I was genuinely shocked—based on his level of knowledge, professionalism, and communication skills, I assumed he had at least 30 years of experience. He’s that good. Highland is truly lucky to have him. I also want to give the biggest thank-you to Renee. Lane and Renee were the absolute dream team. From the moment we were connected, she made the design and selection process effortless. From touring the model homes through the sales process and closing we had a really great experience.

My wife and I have built 7 homes, prior to this working with Highland. Renee, our Sales Counselor and Hunter, our Construction Manager made the purchasing, construction and Move-in experience the best we have ever had. During the construction, we would stop by the sales model and the sales team would were very gracious with their time as we were deciding feature details and decorating ideas. Also, during this time, we would drop by the construction site to see progress. Hunter, would go out of his way to stop by and say "hello" whenever he say us. Both Renee and Hunter did an excellent job of communicating status and progress on our home. The Highland team had a well documented phase process which set expectations for us. This process was instrumental in delivering a quality home on the scheduled they committed. Both Renee and Hunter were responsive to our change requests, while still staying on schedule. Hunter was very responsive to questions/concerns raised during and even pointed out a couple items we failed to identify during the selection process (kitchen accent wall, kitchen beams and 2nd bedroom bath frameless shower). Hunter offered to add at no charge nice features like 1) curtain rod bracing, 2) garage attic decking and 3) reduction in use of media room glue and tack strips (we /owner planned to remove this carpet and install rubber flooring for a gym). Whenever their was ambiguity on whether a feature was included, Highland "owned it" and provided the feature at no additional charge. To summarize, my wife and I had an excellent experience working with the Highland team. Building a new home is always stressful. The buying process was great. Sales people worked well with us and our realtor giving us much incentives and access to the home to check and review it. At move in our project / builder manager was always available ensuring details were addressed and fixed. All working as expected. Nice to have the support as you move in and get familiar with your new home.

Everyone we have worked with at Highland Homes has been incredible!! We purchased at Cross Creek West and originally met with Virginia at Jordan Ranch and she was absolutely incredible! We needed to buy a quick move in, so we ended up finding the right one in cross creek west with Manny! He was fantastic as well! I would highly recommend either of these sales professionals!!! We had a great experience working with Lane (Construction Manager) and Lula (Sales Counselor). They made our process building feel comfortable and seamless. This is not our first time building but first with Highland and would build again in a heartbeat if it was Lane leading the build. My wife & I have been in our home for a little over 2 months now and still marvel at how beautiful it is! Highland, and David B. with Highland, have been great throughout the process. From planning, build, closing, and follow-up, he's been our ally throughout the process doing whatever it takes to ensure everything goes smoothly. The communication, pictures, etc. were all very much appreciated, especially with us living 5 hours away during the construction process.
