Customer service exceptional and quality of finished product amazing.

The whole Highpointe team did an awesome job and delivered us a beautiful new home. We can not thank Brady, Javier, Lula and Danielle enough for helping us get into our first newly built home. We love our floorplan, love the community and love the Highland Homes team!!

Super and Sales team communicated well amongst themselves, and with my Wife and I, making for an easy build. Superintendent was very thorough and responsive after move in date with the minor things that needed adjusting.

We were impressed with the overall home buying process with Highland. The building manager is always available and alleviated every concern of ours before and after closing on our home.

I think they can improve in materials and labor with better quality.

As with any new home building experience there will be some things you love and some things that don't go so well. When we were having issues getting the inspections completed so we could close on time, we let Highland know what was going on. They brought in Alex, our construction manager, and he knew how to get things done and how to keep in great communication with us during the whole process. We have been in the home for two months now and Tucker, our new CM, is now working with us on a few minor things for the home and he is doing an outstanding job as well. Overall the buying experience was great! Customer service from the sales office and building manager was great . I just subjects to Highland is that you pour your driveway last. As I ride around the neighborhood you can notice the difference between Highland and Perry homes . Perry home has clean finished driveways and Highlands driveways are different colors and patched. Perry pours their driveways after the home is built and I think that what makes a difference.

This home’s temperature is constant and comfortable ( tight seal!) Warranty Service has been excellent and reassuring

Our builder, Ian was great and is still helping us. Our sales person, Dolly was amazing and did anything to help. The design center was the only part in the process that was less than satisfactory. If you work with Holly, please come with all your design ideas and make sure you ask about everything in the house. She left a lot out for us.

Good quality homes. Very responsive to our needs.

We built with David Weekly and stayed in that home for 2 years.. we started to notice that a lot of the material was not of good quality and found ourselves fixing a lot of items in the home. We sold that home and built with highland and I was blown away with the quality of work and material. We absolutely loved our builder and had a solid line of communication throughout the whole process. Would high recommend Highland homes to anyone looking to build.

Highland Homes has always been my favorite builder and I knew that if I ever bought a new home, it would be a Highland Home. The best part of my experience was dealing with the incredible staff in The Groves (Walter, Haley, Ron & Gwen). Each of these individuals ensured my needs were met and they went out of their way to make adjustments to the home to suit my needs. I bought the house in the final phases of construction, so I didn't have input as the house was being built. This incredible team was quite flexible when it came to accommodating modifications to the home, upon my requests. I feel that for the price of the home, gutters should be included. He is overextended with too many homes but he does a great job with the time he has

I am really happy love the experience I have with highland homes as well as builder. The builder’s team did what they promised. They responded to me in a timely fashion. I really recommend Highland Homes to everyone who are looking for a new home.

We got to build a Huntington floor plan in a Highland community and it turned out beautifully! We love Highland Homs and the quality & craftsmanship you get for your money. Basically it feels like a custom home you’re getting for a excellent price!!

I think the finishing on the house was not up to the mark. We are happy with everything else.

When we decided when and where we wanted to buy we went to Pomona subdivision and looked at all the model homes. In our price range we found a great home by Highland Homes. Our sales rep, Miss Denise, was fantastic on working with us on our wants and needs. It seemed she was always available to answer any questions we had. I looked at several lenders and chose Highland Home Lender, LLC. We worked with Miss Amanda and she was the best person I ever worked with in financing. She couldn't have made the process any better or easier. Once our home was finished Mr. Cason, project manager, addressed any issues we had and was very accommodating. Highland Homes was great to work with. They responded to my questions / concerns throughout the build process. Any small issues with my home were fixed by the time we closed. The home inspection went very well. And, most importantly, they met the build timeframe we discussed at the initial sales meeting.

We closed on our home in October 2020. We love the design of our home and the location. Highland has great floor plans to choose from. We have had numerous issues during the construction phase and after we moved in. Specifically, we have had several plumbing related issues. Mustang Plumbing is the subcontractor for Highland Homes and almost everything Mustang Plumbing has touched has been done incorrectly. The largest and most egregious issue was that Mustang Plumbing did not connect our grinder pump to the city sewer line in front of the house. On the day we moved into our new home we had sewage running all over our front yard and driveway. The next day Mustang did connect the grinder pump to the city sewer line; however, they failed to connect the grinder pump back up to the electrical system. A few days later we had sewer gas in our new home. Another Mustang plumber came out and resolved the issue. Another Mustang issue is that they incorrectly installed our disposal in the kitchen sink. A few days after moving in to our new home we had lots of water leaking under our sink. Yet another Mustang plumber had to come out and correct the issue. We have also had issues with our "Smart Home Package" offered by Highland Homes. Essentially, during the construction phase of the house, IES (another subcontractor) neglected to install several access ports needed for the Eero wifi extenders. IES offered to retrofit the extenders but doing so would have required rather extensive drywall work. We declined because we do not want patwork drywall in our new home. Another IES issue focused on our video doorbell. In order to install our video doorbell IES had to remove several bricks from the front of the house and then a brick mason had to come out and patch up the front of the house. It looks fine, but why not install the video doorbell from the very beginning. All of the IES issues stem from poor planning. Advice to future buyers - insist that your wifi extenders and video doorbell be installed before you move in. It is a huge inconvenience having people in and out of your house installing items that can easily be installed before you move in. I write this review on January 6, 2021. Since we moved in we have had to submit at least 6-7 warranty issues to Highland Homes. All but one have been addressed. But I find it sad that we have had to submit so many warranty requests on a brand new home. Our project manager, Matt, has been very responsive to each of the issues we have faced. I do not blame Matt for anything. However, I strongly encourage Highland Homes to source better plumbing and low voltage subcontractors. If you are looking to buy a Highland Home, you will love your design choices and the floor plan options. Highland Homes look great. However, be very thorough in your inspections because I do have my doubts about the quality of the workmanship (especially the areas that are hidden behind walls such as plumbing. Ask questions. Visit the home site frequently during the construction phase. Take pictures to document the building process. ... More

I have worked with other home builders previously and felt like I was in a battle with them. Working with Highland was a relief from that. My sales agent was knowledgeable about the homes and features and helped me find what I wanted instead of pushing me into a more expensive home. My construction manager walked the home every day during the construction process and held the contractors accountable for mistakes. I walked the home often and when I saw corrections that needed to be made, he made sure they were taken care of. Highland earned my trust and made sure my home was built well. Every time I made a call or send a text at any day, The employees of Highland Homes at Water Scapes Community or even the contractor response is immediately. Highland Homes listens to the buyers questions and concerns. I am a true believer that if I have to purchase another home or built one, it will be a Highland Home.
