Our experience with Highland homes was absolutely fantastic! Lynn and Linda in the sales office were so helpful and accommodating. I don't say this lightly, but their integrity was one of the biggest reasons we went with Highland. Every interaction we had, we walked away knowing we could trust what was discussed. One person who I really can't thank enough throughout this was Blake, our Building Manager. That guy made the experience fun and exciting. He listened to what we had to say, provided us with some great feedback, and kept us up-to-date with everything that was going on. He was very professional, but made it seem like you're just talking with a good friend about something they're extremely knowledgeable about. Because of Blake, I can absolutely trust that the quality of our home is something I won't have to worry about. I also wanted to make note that we started the construction of our home just before COVID hit. Once the foundation was poured, that's when the first shutdown started. I really can't thank the team over at Highland enough for staying on top of things and letting us know what was going on every step of the way. Wasn’t a very pleasant home purchase. We had issues from the day we moved in and had to reach out many times to get things fixed.

From Chadd to Caleb everyone in the highland home staff are highly professional. They keep you updated throughout the process.

The house is beautiful, and our builder Ben has been very responsive about taking care of some little things that need to be fixed. Overall, the workmanship is good, and my husband and I are very pleased.

Friendly, helpful and responsive from all areas. It was a pleasure and painless.

We found the process very easy, Steve and Andrew where easy to work with and accommodating with every request and sometimes rushed deadlines. The only drawback with the lighting selections.

After shopping around for a builder we decided to go with Highland Homes. Highland had amazing floor plans to choose from and even allowed us to make structural changes for our needs. Their products are all equipped with smart home features, high Ceilings and a open concept feel. Their skilled craftsmanship, commitment , and everyone from sales to management were very professional. I highly recommend Highland to Anyone.

Love the home, but due to COVID, they took very long to come and fix a few issues with our home. Still waiting on things that haven’t been taken care of.

Jamie and Nick have been great they do excellent job. Been great experience but have notices some of the construction such as island seems to have been rushed for assembly. installation of small things such as door knobs are not installed adequately but fixed. Attic area is in Canterbury has safety issue, the builders do not put sufficient stepping area when going up attic ladder so there is potential for falling due to 45 degree step up to AC unit. Recommend builder at least put one plywood in attic on alternate side of attic ladder for safety.

Highland homes shines with quality and craftsmanship. After seeing many homes on the market, we instantly fell in love with our Highland home. Open concept, Rigid Core Flooring, Grand staircase entrance with wrought Iron and covered patio. I would definitely rate them as a top builder in Bridgeland Community.

During the start of Covid-19 we were worried if we had made a bad decision to buy with the uncertainty. But working with Highland Homes and our builder Jason was a very easy process. Very happy with the end result and all the steps in between.

Overall we're very happy with this home.. It's beautiful. The construction seems very well done. The neighborhood is great. Highland has been very responsive with any questions or concerns during both the build process and post-closing. However, the value of the upgrades is somewhat questionable when considered against what you pay for them. This is mainly due to what is very evidently rushed install and finish work by the subcontractors they use. Poorly run caulking beads. Chipped/scratched glass. Improperly cut trim. Unfinished cabinetry that was simply overlooked. Wiring that trips a breaker when you plug a single phone charger in. In a word - sloppy. Small things, to be sure, but many of them. If you have the time to be at the site consistently inspecting the work as it happens then I'm sure a lot of this would have been caught during the process. Not the case for us. Regardless this seems like quality control the builder may wish to own as a matter of course. Again, Highland is great about making it right. It's just frustrating that an expensive master bath upgrade has caulking that looks like I did it myself. ... More

Would def buy another highland home. Very professional and first class!

I looked at so many different home builders homes and decided Highland Homes were the Best for me.I was right! I have never been through a more smooth process closing on a house. The craftsmanship of my house was outstanding and any little things I found, they fixed in a reasonable time. Their team is great from the sales team to the builder and crew building the homes. I Love my home and am so glad I went with Highland.

Very pleased with our home. Very comfortable and satisfied. Surprised there were no spouting on rear roof over patio. That should not be an option; it is as essential as spouting on front roof.

The overall house is good. Some of the work seems to have been rushed through. Little things here and there are not what I would call great but satisfactory.

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Highland Homes. Canyon Falls Sales Manager Todd was amazing in his ability to help me find and transform the 243E floor plan into the home of my dreams. During my selection process for brick, stone, tile, granite, flooring, etc., the office team of Todd and Jayne, as well as IBB Design team member Kari, were always responsive to my needs and helping me every step of the way. The fun part really began when project manager Garrett came into the process. Todd is amazingly knowledgeable, experienced and organized. He has a great eye for detail and watched over the construction of my home like a hawk. They were finished one week prior to our target date despite that four of the seven months were during the winter and rainy spring months. This is the fourth new home I have lived in, my late husband, being the builder for the previous three. When this process began I was scared to death I wouldn't be able to do this as a single woman. After about two weeks working with the Highland Homes Staff, they became like family to me providing me updates and assistance throughout. In the end, I can't say enough about Highland versus other home builders. They work with you to ensure you get the home you want, they make adjustments like no others offer. Best of all, they remain there for you after close. As for the Canyon Falls subdivision, it's the best ever. Right away I felt at home in the Dakota section, so many welcoming, caring and helpful neighbors is a rare find. ... More

Builder rushed to complete the house for closing and failed. Promise to fix discrepancies and two months in we are still dealing with the initial issues. Very disappointed for the amount of money we paid.
