Love the finish and details. Beautiful home inside and out.

Could have been better with details and craftsmanship, unfortunately it didn’t turn out exactly as we wanted but “good enough” which is kind of the running theme on some things. In some ways they were very radon’s ice but then they’d disappear with no communication. In the end a couple of big things were missing/didn’t turn out right and I’m tired of having to call them out to fix things.

The experience was really good. The salesman, (Jarrod) receptionist,(Michelle) builder supervisor(Dale) and everyone was very knowledgable and kind. If there are problems that come up, they handle them with much care. Very pleased with Highland Homes!!!

Very disappointed in the fixtures, tile, flooring etc options at the decorating center. Very disappointed in cabinetry as well. Did not feel like this was not worth the money paid for the home. Sales was good and follow up with issues have been excellent.

I am so happy with my Highland Home. The sales team and builder were available during the entire process and after! The energy efficiency is even better than expected.

Great floor plan and great quality homes.

Salesman was very helpful and gave us tips to make buying easier. Assistant helped my wife pick upgrade selections. Maintenance. Supervisor checked on us to make sure we had no problems with the new house. Once the deal was signed, Highland still looked after us to make sure we were satisfied.

As always highland is a home builder who care about the costumer and builds a good product that they stand by. They have an amazing warranty. We love our home.

We were really excited to move into our home but, it turned into a less than stellar experience as we realized that there were so many things, big and small, that appeared to be hastily done and poorly constructed. There are already cracks in the basedoards, rust in the sinks and bathtubs (which have never been used) and, the garage door came off of the hinges and very nearly crushed both of our vehicles. I could go on but again, beautiful home, terrible workmanship.

You typically get what you pay for but with Highland Homes, you get more! From the onset, my wife and I felt valued and never once did we feel pushed. The work was professionally done and even after closing , our builder was available if there were by fixes that needed to be made. Highland Homes stands by its product which speaks volumes about the quality of the home. We love it !

The main issue is Insulation in the house, there is no privacy. I can hear the conversation happening in the living room in my Master bedroom and vice versa. We also hear the highway traffic in our master bedroom. There are some minor things where we see that builder has tried to save money, it's not worth it. I am not sure if I will recommend highland homes to anyone.

Service after the sale is poor. We’re told GE Profile appliances, many substituted by lower priced models

From day one until the day we closed Highland went above and beyond any other builder we have experienced. We LOVE our new home !! The energy efficiency items Highland used to build their homes is very evident in our utility bills!!! We will always recommend Highland Homes to our family, friends, colleagues.

The only flaw in my house, the installation isn't thick enough I can hear my kids playing or talking even though room is on the other side of the house.

We love our floor plan and the high ceilings and quality of workmanship that Highland offers. We loved our sales person and project manager who were with us the whole time our house was being built . They were very responsive in fixing the few issues we had after closing.

Very happy with our new home. From sales to customer service/support, all personnel have responded quickly and gained our trust.

Sheetrock in living room was poorly installed. I had to move my furniture four times while they tried to fix a botched drywall job on high slanted ceiling. That I was promised would be re-done. They kept patching it. Now the head guy is saying ‘it’s not in the warranty.” They rush through everything. Was walking on the carpet and had a tack stick me in my barefoot...I gave them a 3star on responsiveness because they got back to me a 2days-week later. Trustworthy: The sales team were great...the builders that’s another story. I don’t trust them. I think I got a good deal on price and extras...I just wished they had done the house right the first time. I can still see waves in my ceiling. Drawers on cabinets are too small and narrow for anything (Kent Moore design). Overall, I like the house. But, I hate my ceiling. ... More

Even with covid they did everything they could to make it a smooth process.

Highland homes made our first time home buying experience a breeze. Great customer service!

The finish work of our home was below par. The building manager did a great job addressing the items. If I could do it over I would not have closed until the majority of the items were corrected.

House quality is great but there are always some of what I would call normal things that pass through during inspection that we have to open warranty claims to get it fixed. And the response time is not ideal... Sometimes the builder will try to push you an easy solution for you to fix or take advantage of your lack of technical knowledge... Having a hard time to have the builder recognizing that my backyard mow has a lots of imperfections which my 3 yrs old son twisted his ankle due to holes between grass sods. Also there are several types of grass so the backyard grass is all colored with different types of green and grass textures as well. Had issues with backsplash installation as well... After many attempts they did it right although I had to accept few minor defects as I was already of people coming to my place after I moved in. ... More

Make sure to get utilization rate down to ensure getting the most favorable rates

very hard and slow to get thing repaired they are always trying to get out of fixing thing
