Highland homes has made building a home an enjoyable experience. Their helpfulness, attention to detail, quality, and responsiveness is unmatched in any other builder I have dealt with. I would more than recommend Highland to new buyers. I encourage using them. I have already recommended them to many friends and family members. When people walk into our home, it takes their breath away and we get asked who the builder was. Highland is wonderful. Wonderful!

It was a great experience. The sales manager Ryan was always and is still ready to help with any questions or concerns. He is very knowledgeable about the home building process. It was a great experience. I would recommend Highland homes to family and friends.

Designer chosen colors and fixtures provided me with a home that is lovely, and well built. Light and airy with lots of windows and high ceilings, the home is comfortable and attractive.

I built a new home with Highland Homes at Laurel Glen, and I had very pleasant experience with them. It took only 4 months for me from signing a contract to close the house. Sales people are very helpful, polite, always answered my phone calls or emails, even after business hours and on weekends, walked me thru step by step in the process. The manager is just amazing, has very good personality, respectful, always listening and explaining. He has a group of experienced people that work for him, they do their job professionally and with high quality. Everything was completed in a timely manner with no delays. Can't say enough about how wonderful every part of the process was with Highland! From the sales process to the design process, through the building process, and finally, the financing process. All the Highland people were super helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and we SO love our house!

I have been pleased with every aspect of building with Highland Homes. From the salesman, to the building manager to anyone else I dealt with. Highland Homes truly cares about their customers and makes sure they are satisfied in every way. I have nothing but praise for how I was treated throughout this process. We sold a house in The Woodlands and bought a new house with Highland. It's our first time with Highland. The stress levels from both selling and buying at the same time were very high for me and my family. Working with Highland helped lower the stress for buying a new house. Having dealt with many other builders, once we met with Highland, it was clear to me that they were #1 on my list to strike a deal with. No non-sense or sales pitches, concise and to the point. Quality of construction is also excellent with modern designs. All steps from signing of contract through closing and after moving repairs have been seemless. The construction manager is ever reachable and responsive. He has taken good care of us, any repairs (mostly minor that are expected of a new construction) addresses almost immediately. Nice home! Felt a bit pricey!!

So we happened upon a spec home for Highland Homes and instantly fell in love with it and I knew the price they were offering was a very good deal as well so we jumped at the opportunity. From the beginning Highland has been very accommodating and the warranty work/responsiveness has been outstanding. I would highly recommend this builder.

From sales, through construction, and after closing, Highland has been exceptional. They were flexible and worked with us to build us the home that exceeded our expectations. Edna in the sales office was very easy to work with and helped us find a floor plan that met our needs. She arranged tours of homes in the neighborhood so we could walk through the different floor plan options. Kari at the design center helped us select all the finishes. She listened to us, looked at the pictures we brought in and made sure our choices worked well together and had the aesthetic/style we wanted. We could not be happier with the end result. Garrett was our construction manager and was great to work with - he was always available to answer any question and make adjustments during the construction of our home. His attitude, helpfulness and willingness to do whatever he can to help far exceeded expectations. The support after closing have been great. While we have not had any major issues, there are always small things that pop up after closing. Garrett and Highland have been equally impressive after we moved in - immediately addressing any concerns or issues that have arisen. This was my first new build property and I feel very fortunate that I chose Highland Homes. My overall experience was excellent and any issues were dealt with very quickly. Quality compared to other builders is also higher.

Bricks uneven and mortar not installed correctly. The brick layer came back once to correct it and made it worst and use the wrong color mortar.The drainage in not slopped correctly and water sits in the backyard. The warranty representative suggestive that I purchase grass that will grow in damp areas. Sprinkler system not zoned correctly. I had to turn off half the sprinklers in order to water some of the grass that was replaced. If not then the area that does not drain water accumulates and just sit there longer then 48 hours.

We could not be happier with our home buying experience with Highland Homes. Quality of workmanship, design and responsiveness have been outstanding. Highland puts a premium on customer service and it shows.

The building process was a nightmare due to the construction managers that oversee your home build. They had zero concern over quality or workmanship by the contractors and nothing was made right by them. We have built before and never thought it would be this bad. I’m not kidding! By from a different builder!

During the purchase of the home, everything was great and we were assured that Highland Homes takes care of their buyers before and after the purchase. We have found that to be untrue. Our experience after moving in has been very poor. We still do not have a working stove exhaust hood and we have been in the home for over a month now. We have a ceiling fan making a loud noise and when the warranty manager came to look at it he explained that it doesn't make the noise if we keep the fan on low. This is the fix?! You have got to be kidding me! We have an exterior back door that has warped and the security sensor keeps giving us a false unauthorized entry alert. Again, the warranty manager came to look at it and said he would have the security company move and realign the sensor. This is the fix?! Leave a warped door on our brand new home and move the sensor. We are extremely frustrated and need help from Highland Homes Upper Management. Please help us. ... More

Lesli and our builder Brian did an excellent job helping us get into our new Highland Home! We love the home and are so glad that we chose HH!

We were very pleased with using Highland loan source. We are NOT pleased with dealing with construction and warranty issues. This is our second highland home in 5 years . The first experience in 2014 was great. Now in 2019 this experience is much different and to be honest very disappointing.
