Love my home and everyone that was and is involved

I would say without a doubt that the true reason for our love for our new home stems from the tremendous sales team here at Highlands at Mayfield Ranch! Both Lyn and her Assistant Linda were exemplary. Id recommend this builder and especially these two wonderful ladies to anyone looking for a new home. The plans offered are spectacular and the builder makes good use of the space.

Make sure you stop by to look at the progress and stay in communication with your builder.

Very happy with our first home. We’ve heard great things about Highland Homes and so far it has met all expectations we had coming into our purchase. Would recommend to anyone looking for high quality.

I was excited to move into my new Highland home, but I had some bad experience after I moved in. I had electrical issues the first week I moved in. My gas stove, most of my outlets and garbage disposal stop working. I also had plumbing issues. I took a bath in my stand alone bath and when I emptied the water out it all went into my shower pan almost causing a big flood of zooer water in my master bath. My toilet also got clog. The same occured my daughters bathroom. For two days I did not have access to both bathrooms. Thank goodness I have a third bathroom. I was disappointed that my first two weeks turned out this way in my new home. The builder over my home project has not been to great with my concerns. ... More

I'm highly satisfied the business with the highlands homes. Our bulier Mr. Luke did an excellent job with us and very professional. No delay on any small request we were asking, very responsive and professional. I highly recommend him to my friends who are looking for a new community in future.

Couldn’t be happier!

Once you move in you'll appreciate all the attention to the homeowner's actual living such as the wider driveways and wider lead walks to the front doors. That they cared enough to spend extra money before entering the home. The impressive roof pitches help the Texas hot air escape out of the attic as well give elegant curbside appeal. Every employee is an owner and it shows in their commitment.

Highland Homes offers great workmanship, value, and outstanding service after the sale.

Overall, we are pleased with the finished product. We found it easy to work with the builder and their response to warranty requests has been timely.

Home is average, had multiple issues upon moving in but the service and timeliness to tend to the issues were excellent. I must commend the sales/ construction management team on their service, but I would not buy nor recommend a Highland home to anyone.

I was not looking forward to the process of building a new home based on homebuilding experiences I'd heard from others. My new home sale went without a hitch and the Highland Home Loan officer was very accommodating and found ways to make the financing possible. I would recommend the Highland home building and buying experience without any reservations.

Great experience

Poor walls and supplies used. Paint rubs right off. More than 20 items needed to be fixed or repaired AFTER moving in. Been here for more than 3 months and still waiting for repairs and replacements.

I've bought many homes over the years and have never had a more "personal" and "engaging" experience. Highland Homes should be applauded for their professionalism. Their willingness to listen to my needs allowed them to deliver to me, a beautiful home that met my vision 100%.

Too many build quality issues. Concerned they will not fix some of them. Most materials used are of low quality. Installation of many items not done well. Very slow to address issues.

The home building process is not a perfect process. Home buyers have to have patience over 7-8 months but it will all come together and look like the model when it is done.

Would not have bought this house, had it not been for Bryn!! The way she treated us was incredible!!

The house is beautiful and many of the small issues have been fixed or can be fixed. It seemed that some of the trades that were hired were not as attentive to their work as I'm sure Highland would have liked. For example, take a look at any fence in the neighborhood and the way the nails were put in (no attempt at a straight line). The issues brought up in home inspection and walk-through could have been avoided had more attention been paid during construction.
