Jonathan, the salesperson, was fantastic—professional, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. He consistently followed up on my questions and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated the openness of the floor plan and the inclusion of a dedicated office space. Working with Juan on everything related to the home—such as appliance operations, using the sprinkler system, how to change the air filters, and even recommendations for a water softener company—has also been exceptional. This was our first home purchase and despite the immensity of research we conducted, it was daunting to say the least. Our first contact was with Jonathan at Highland Homes, and he immediately put us at ease with his Carisma, attention to detail, customer focus, professionalism, honesty and transparency in explaining the home buying process with Highland Homes. Jonathan skillfully helped us navigate the process once we decided on purchasing our new home with Highland a few months ago. His knowledge and aptitude of the home buying process was on constant display, providing us with adequate & timely information and options to ease the decision-making process, without being forceful or aggressive. He was assertive and supportive with the many decisions we had to make. Jaun, our Construction Manager, was exceptional as well. His aptitude, knowledge and willingness to assist were impressive. He kept us well apprise of the progress of our new homes on a weekly basis with pictures, phone calls, etc, especially since we were still living in another state. Having his personal cell phone number on speed dial gave us a sense of confidence and peace of mind. His attention to detail ensuring that everything was perfect for the final move-in was on point, since we were encouraged to hire our own independent inspector. All the minor findings were dealt with expeditiously to our complete satisfaction. What impresses us most about the Highland Homes experience, was not just the smooth process from start to finish, selecting the home, realtor, financing, inspections, etc, but their follow-up after we moved in to ensure that everything was as expected; they genuinely displayed a vested interest in their customers satisfaction. We were drawn to Highland Homes because of their exceptional reputation and top-notch reviews. We choose them because of the first impression we had and the unforgettable experience we had with Jonathan, Juan & the rest of the Highland Team. This experience was as smooth as it could get with no major hiccups or concerns. This review will not be able to do justice with mere words with respect to how we were treated and how valued the team made us feel. Kira and Mike were great throughout the home buying process. They made it seamless for us and made sure all our requests were fulfilled on time. Mike is very responsive and made sure we understood everything about the home and was always available to help us with our questions and requests. Highly recommend him! Apart from that, the only feedback we have is the quality of wood used for doors. It chips easily so maybe it would be better to have more sturdy wood.

After spending some time in Parten Ranch, we met with Renee and decided to build in the new section. From the very beginning, everyone involved went above and beyond. Preston was always available and always had a solution/answer for any questions we had. Preston definitely paid attention to all the details that we needed addressed and took care of them very quickly. Renee and Preston come with very high recommendations for time they spent making our build and move run smoothly.

I was a bit nervous to purchase a new home on my own. But a HUGE THANK YOU to Highland Home & builder Caleb L. in the MANTA community and my realtor Kristie w/Texas Trails Realty in making this the easiest and smoothest experience! Caleb, a man of integrity went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed on time and move-in ready on my new beautiful Highland Home! I would highly recommend Highland Homes as your home choice for the excellent communication, workmanship and assistance!

Overall, I’m happy with certain aspects of my new home, particularly the great location and the beautiful natural lighting throughout the space. The second floor has a well-thought-out layout and feels very comfortable and functional. However, there are areas that could have been better. The first floor feels too crowded, with limited space in the family and dining areas. The design leaves little flexibility for arranging furniture, which I found disappointing. I also experienced some frustration during the buying process. The sales representative was not very friendly and, when a mistake was made with the carpet installation, her response was dismissive. She said the incorrect carpet “looked better,” even though I had carefully chosen the original color and was not seeking her opinion. Additionally, I noticed poor workmanship in several places, especially with the cabinet and kitchen island installation. There were also multiple dings and imperfections on materials like baseboards that should have been addressed prior to move-in. While I appreciate many things about my home, I hope future buyers can benefit from improvements in both customer service and attention to detail during the build and finishing stages. ... More

We really enjoyed the PURCHASING process of buying our first home. The sales team was always attentive and the office staff were more than welcoming when we were signing our documents to close. Construction is a different story, while the home seems to be built well our construction manager is little to no help at all. Every single question we have asked has been answered, but answered incorrectly. We have been given several answers to our questions which has resulted in hundreds of dollars of wasted money because the construction team has given us incorrect info. I think they need to reevaluate who they are hiring to manage these houses and make sure the people in the field know what they are talking about before they start answering questions. ... More

My experience At Highland townhome has been exceptionally welcoming! Thank you, Lance! The CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT. I must commend June, the construction manager, who goes above and beyond to ensure that all my issues are resolved. I thoroughly enjoying at Walsh Ranch, taking advantage of the walking trails and walking my dog daily, and appreciating the wonderful residents at Walsh Ranch. Every day at Walsh is living at a 5-star resort! The amenities are truly amazing. We do need restaurants in Walsh! Deciding to move Walsh was the best decision I made.

To make the home your way, the items are limited to the design center. Didn’t understand if I was willing to pay for upgrades, why I was not allowed. Was not asked which landscape item I wanted

The entire process of the home purchase went very well. There's is a minor mishap in the initial process stage, wherein the sales agreement of the first house that we looked at was cancelled due to miscommunication between us and the sales team. It was a blessing in disguise though, as the second house that has been showed to us was way better than the first one. My family really liked the house, so we immediately process the purchase with the Sales team. I really appreciate all the prompt responses from Chad and Pam with my inquiries. Julio from the construction team was really good. He really took time to explain everything about the house during the orientation. The punch list that my third-party inspector has been rectified in a timely manner. I never encountered any issues with him regarding the inquiries and service request I have sent to him almost 2 months after closing. It is good experience working with Highland Homes

Several construction items (Awning not properly installed above front entrance.) that required numerous contacts / conversations to have resolved.

It was a great experience in buying our new home. When we tour the model the sale agent was professional and made our visit welcoming. She called us to come back and showed us a home that match all our requirements that we talk about on our first visit. It was a great experience from start thru closing.

From beginning to end this process has been great. Nelli & Kevin were fantastic to work with along the way.

With the paint there are some small problems but the rest the seller was very friendly and excellent. I am happy.

Kevin in the sales department was very helpful and not pushy when it comes to choosing your new home.

Matt was phenomenal. Super communicative and always excited about the next steps which kept us even more excited as well

From beginning to end, our purchase has been a satisfying and happy experience. My husband loves to tell others about my reaction when we walked through the door at the open house. He says that 30 seconds after walking through the door, I turned to him and said, “I love this house.” He says that 30 seconds after that I said “I really love this house.” I can tell you that I still feel that way every time I enter the house.
