The people i mentioned above were great to work with. Answers to our questions seem to come with ease and quickly. Problems were nonexistent. Slight problems that existed with the property were handled in a timely manor. The property itself I'm satisfied is of good value and quality of workmanship is quit good. Closing was a bit disturbing, the drive to plano for people of our age could be troublesome for some. Overall experience I'd rate a 12 out of 10.

Great experience working with the sales team and the construction manager in buying our new house

Doug and Bryn were the best builder and salesperson. They were helpful and accommodating to our family and needs throughout the project. We would recommend Highland to others. With every new home build project there will be issues but their ability to address immediately made all the difference in the experience.

waiting for follow-up visit to answer some concerns. lawn sod is not bouncing back as promised - some gaps between sod pieces. glue on floor boards not adequately cleaned up.

Overall, it’s been a good experience with Highland Homes, they have been very attentive when issue s arise , and as long as you follow up they make sure the work gets done, the home they delivered is well polished and thoughtfully furnished , I am happy to be part of highland community

We had a wonderful home buying experience at Highlands. Zack was an excellent construction manager—very helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. He made everything smooth and easy for us. The after-sales service has also been outstanding. We highly recommend them!

Reliable, trustworthy and responsive !! On down side - all my glass windows cracks, Stair case is terrible, landscaping and Insulation are not worth for the money spent.

Highland homes are extremely beautiful. And their reputation is stellar. Our project manager Julio couldn’t have been more helpful and professional, hands-down, so knowledgeable and helpful during the process. Our home is built, impeccably worry free. The only reason for the four stars on the overall buying experience (because everything else is 5 stars). This is not our first time buying a home, nor our second or third time. I was a bit baffled and disappointed that no one from the sales team or Highland homes itself sent a thank you note with a gift to the buyers (us). I have never purchased a home and all my days and all my years where we were not thanked afterwards with some kind of thank note and a gift basket a bottle of wine cookies, something. I moved into an amazingly designed home and the care and response from the builders team are awesome. Highland Homes has been the best experience in purchasing a home I have ever had.

I wanted to take a minute and share with you what I wonderful journey our Highland experience has been. Mary guided us through the purchase process with such love and support. She cheerfully worked with us as we decided on configurations, add ons and other pre construction changes. She advocated for us like we were her family. She never lost her patience and was always willing to meet with us, take a call or answer emails right up until the day we closed. As wonderful as Mary was, Trevor, our builder was even more impressive. I have never been through a construction project as smooth as this one was. We loved the weekly updates from Trevor so we always knew what was done, was waiting and what was coming up. The pre construction meetings prevented so many issues that would have normally created anxiety for us and extra work and expense for you. Building a home is often a dream come true, filled with anticipation and excitement. Unfortunately, our experience with Highland Homes has been more of a cautionary tale, underscored by significant disappointment in both the quality of materials, craftsmanship and the responsiveness of their team. From the onset, we were drawn to Highland Homes by their seemingly stellar reputation and the promise of quality and engagement. However, as the project progressed, it became increasingly clear that our expectations would not be met and we were just a number in their budget. Our journey, which should have been paved with professionalism and precision, was instead marred by delays and oversight in the interest of profitability. One of the most glaring issues we are still facing is the incomplete state of our home nearly two months after closing. Please, DO NOT close on your home if it is not perfect to you! The moment you close, all urgency and responsiveness will dissipate. It is profoundly disheartening to report that major components, such as our front doors, are still missing despite having been chosen roughly one year ago in the design center. This oversight, one of dozens leaves a sour taste in what should be a celebratory new chapter in our lives. Attempts to resolve these issues have been met with a concerning lack of urgency and indifference. The responsiveness of the Highland Homes team has been less than satisfactory, leaving us in a state of limbo. The communication gaps and delayed responses have only exacerbated our frustrations, making it difficult to trust their commitment to customer satisfaction. While there are aspects of the home that reflect the quality Highland Homes is known for, these are overshadowed by the significant shortcomings in both delivery and service. It is unfortunate that our experience does not align with the high standards they advertise. Speaking with neighbors who had also chosen Highland Homes, our experience unfortunately appears to be the norm in Mustang Lakes. I wish we would have walked around the neighborhood and spoken to people before making such a significant commitment. In transparency, our realtor strongly favored Highland Homes but we have also learned that is likely due to their extremely generous realtor program rather than an unbiased recommendation. Highland Homes has the potential to deliver beautiful homes, our experience suggests that they fall short in key areas of execution and customer care. We hope that sharing our story will encourage the company to reflect on their processes and improve for the sake of future homeowners. For prospective buyers, we recommend proceeding with caution and a readiness to advocate strongly for your expectations. I didn’t move into Paloma Creek. I moved into wildflower ranch. Ginger was knowledgeable and supportive throughout our homebuying experience. Our superintendent, Aaron was attentive to our needs and followed through on request in a timely manner.

Did not enjoy my experience with sales at all. Kathi and her team did not make this a great experience. There were times where I’d call or walk in and they’d ask me my name even though I had been under contract for three months!!! There are also way to many points of contact, I was getting emails and calls from 4 different sales people throughout our build. Pricing for upgrades is outrageous and included features could be better. As someone who works in the industry and has sold semi custom homes, I was even shocked when we went to design. Some of the prices were so high our designer didn’t even want to give them to us. Our builder Geoffrey on the other hand was amazing! He had good follow up and follow through. Whenever we had a question he would either have an answer or get one for us. Highly recommend him, he was personable & thorough. Of course there were delays and things didn’t always go as planned, but he made sure to communicate and resolve the issues in a timely manner. It's all because of Rayshell and Michael...they were professional, thorough and patient with us. We bought it from the website, out of state and needed to sell our home. Rayshell and Matt, the builder, worked us through the process so seamlessly and considerate of our every need. We LOVE our home and we're so grateful to them...thank you!

We have been very fortunate with our Highland Homes purchase. So far any issue that has come up has been addressed N taken care of immediately. We have establish very good rapport with Highland Homes reps. We R very happy with our home N highly recommend Highland Homes!

Initially we were so skeptical going with highland homes as we had deal with each sales agent (as they were changed frequently) and same with Construction managers but ones we have Michael as construction manager..things got in place and boosted our confidence in moving with highland homes ..as he used to provide construction updates everyweek ( as we were remote, wish we would have been at the site to have other minor changes) and always on call during the support for the time he had with us..definitely recommend Michael and highland homes for new house buyers.

From the time Karen was introduced to Tony, our Highland sales counselor, all the way through our home buying process we had a fantastic experience! He was both very personal as well as professional in all his dealings with us, communicating in a timely and thorough manner. Later, when our house went under construction we began working with Jack, our construction manager. He was an excellent communicator utilizing e-mails, texts, and phone calls to update us on progress and address any questions or concerns we had. This was especially helpful to us as we were living in another state during construction. We felt like Jack was genuinely concerned with our desires related to our house and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we ended up with a house we were thrilled with. We hired a 3rd party to inspect the home. Many issues were found. The report was provided to the construction supervisor and sales rep. A subsequent follow up by the 3rd party inspector showed that many issues remained. A copy was again provided to the same Highland individuals. A 3rd inspection was performed prior to close. A couple of issues were still identified. After move in one major issue was still unresolved - oven tripping breaker. We were assured prior to close it had been resolved. It was not. Disappointed about the failure to address issues and had to engage a 3rd party inspector multiple times. ... More

Overall the buying experience with HH has been good. The sales team as well as the project manager have been very cooperative and always heard our concerns. Todd, Ivonne and Dillon were always helpful. I cannot say the same with HH third party vendors whether it is low voltage or high voltage. A well linked document tracking with all changes is something HH can improve upon. It wasn't easy to track. Construction quality was good but painting needs significant improvement. I still see lots of patches across the inside walls. Unimportant, but it would have made a huge difference, normally, all builders give a nice hamper (chocolates, wine , hand towels with our names) at the time of closing. No such thing was provided.
