We decided to build with Highland while loving from out of state. The friendliness and knowledge of ***** in the sales office made the difference for us. She was incredibly patient and helpful with all our questions and concerns with trying to build from so far away. Once we got started, the updates from ***** and ***** were amazing. They could always be reached for questions along the way, and sent very thorough updates on the progress. Our home turned out beautiful and is exactly what we were expecting and hoping for. We are excited to start our next chapter in our beautiful new home.

All of the workmanship has been great. All small is*****s we have had have been handled quickly and without complication.

From our sales team to our construction manager and lender, the Highland Homes team were top notch! They were quick to answer all our questions and very responsive to our needs.

I was disappointed in the craftsmanship of the work done on our highland home. I would have thought the quality would have been better since this is luxury home buying. I was disappointed to see some of the items that were missed along with the returning of issues. Along with the cracks and the shifting of the home as it settles give me great concern. However I do know that these can be fixed. The concern is the long term impacts.

We were lucky enough to get to work with Gracie, Conner, and their teams. They did a fantastic job building our home. They both went above and beyond what was expected, and we love our new home. Conner really took care of us when it came to building and finishing the house. For example, our inspector noticed a tiny dent in the front of our oven - my wife and I never would have seen it in a million years, but once you saw it, you couldn’t unsee it. We asked Conner if he could do anything about it, but with only a short time before closing, it seemed unlikely. Then, despite the short notice, a few days later, he told me he had gotten it taken care of for us, and it was fixed in time for closing. Gracie did a great job guiding us through the upgrade options. She was very easy to work with and I never felt pressured to get unnecessary upgrades. She was very knowledgeable about which upgrades other homeowners were especially happy with - we came to trust her insights. One specific upgrade she highly recommended was the deep inset for the primary shower floor instead of the base acrylic style. With that upgrade we were able to make our dream walk-in shower with a penny-tile floor. Now, the primary shower is my wife’s favorite part of our entire home. ... More

The entire process of buying our new home with highland was great. We completed a new build with their team. The timeline was accurate, we received clear communication and pertinent updates, and we love the finished home. They also reliably followed up on any requests we had following the completion of the build. Very satisfied and will recommend to others.

The house was delivered promptly and was of the highest quality. Todd provided exceptional assistance and information not only during the construction but also afterward.

My overall experience with Highland Homes was excellent. Much of this was due to our Construction Manager, Devin, who was very professional, knowledgeable and followed up on any requests or changes needed. I would say the concrete work both for the driveway and patio was not top quality. The driveway had sections that didn’t match in color and finish. It looked like the concrete was too wet when poured causing stones to already rise to the surface. The patio surface was not a smooth surface and had pitting in multiple areas.

From beginning to end and beyond, the Highland team has surpassed expectations. Starting with Tyler in Sales, who was super knowledgeable and helpful, to Mark, our Construction Manager, who had amazing attention to detail, the building process was great. The in-house finance team led by Sarah was easy to work with and very responsive. Highland Homes design studio is a one-of-a-kind experience, and our designer, Kimberly, shared so many great insights that helped us get the important details right. Your loan team and officers are at the bottom of the barrel. Builders are 2nd. Not the best ones in HOU. Highland is recognized at top of their game in TX but that has been slowly changing
