My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of building our home with Highland Homes. From start to finish, their team was professional, attentive, and committed to quality. The workmanship is excellent, and any issues that have come up have been addressed quickly and efficiently. We truly appreciate their responsiveness and the care they put into making sure we were satisfied with our new home.

The experience was horrible! The quality and lack of carelessness has been the worst. I have bought new houses before and have never experienced this lack quality.

Everyone was excellent all the way around! The sales staff as well as our construction manager all went above and beyond every step of the way!

Sales person was rude and aggressive & loan office wasn’t good at communicating

The Highland Homes experience from the showing of my new home, to the buying of the home, the mortgage process through Highland Homes was and continues to be outstanding. From the start, dealing with Tiffany and Thea in the Sales Office who responded to every request I had since I was purchasing from out of state, moving from AZ back to TX, to Doug with the financing process, to Brody for fixing minor house issues as I moved in. Tim was my sales rep and Andrea was my construction manager. Great experience from start to finish. What is really nice is that you have their full attention for a whole year should any issues arise. Wish I could say better things - but very disappointed overall.

I purchased an inventory home and the construction manager (Preston) was extremely helpful during the orientation and final walk. He continues to follow up with me after I moved in. I love the home and couldn’t be happier!

Highland does not adhere to its quality promise in Painted Tree. The construction manager who originally worked on the house left and the new one shrugged when pointed with the issues. Everything was rushed a lot including the home orientation. Just after closing the home we started identifying issues with flooring, issues with water leakage in washer/dryer unit which damaged kitchen flooring. Lawn is not setup correctly with water not draining. Even though the customer service is good and responsive, we did not expect the issues we faced in a new construction home. Didn’t know what to expect in the beginning with the design and building process, but once communicating that we were interested and involved in the building process along the way, we were able to find trust in the Highland process. There were a couple of early issues, but Highland worked to provide acceptable solutions. Most important, we were grateful of the support and the timeliness of addressing issues of concern during the early stages of the warranty process after construction completion. The project manager was extremely helpful ensuring our satisfaction.

As a "senior citizen" I have had several new home purchase experiences, and without a doubt my experiences with Highland homes has been absolutely superior in every way! The quality of the home is beyond compare! Eleven foot ceilings, six inch base boards, included landscape, exterior finishes with lighting, quality paint and fixtures with higher end upgrades make my new home a joy to live in and decorate! And the staff of Highland Homes is amazing! Care begins at the top and is carried through each level of the house to home process with Highland! Tracy in the sales office, Tim, Garret, and Fred in the construction of the home, Donny in customer service, each and every one responsive, professional, knowledgeable, caring and just willing to help no matter the request, or change order! Even the construction VP, Stephen stopped by my home toward the end of construction and I was impressed with his thoughtfulness and care. Highlands provided us with good service/assistance. They addressed our concerns and requests during the process of buying our home, made sure everything is on time up to the closing period. We were able to move in our new home as planned/scheduled. Terrence and Jovanni provided assistance and help

I absolutely love my new townhome! It's beautiful and everything I ever wanted. The problem is in the quality. I have had so many problems since closing. Not even two weeks after moving in, I was infested with mice so bad that I had to move out temporarily. They did not properly seal the attic in six places and left open gaps. I was lucky that only mice came in. Their warranty department would not reimburse me for what I had to spend to get this fixed. I could not get my shutters installed because water was coming in through the windows and had to force them to fix this. It took a long time to get the breakers to stop tripping! It seemed as if this was their first build out. They tell you that their claims department will take care of things after you close, but their claims deparment just asks questions, and sends someone to look at things (when it's convenient for them) they give you so much run around, BEWARE! There were other small glitches here and there, but never have I had such poor experience with any other builder in the past. Very disappointing considering such a beautiful townhome. Great sales people. Troy and Victor were amazing, I enjoyed working with them very much. It's just a shame that the construction and the construction staff need to gain experience on what they are doing and how to treat customers. I will never again purchase from Highland Homes. ... Overall Good, but sometimes i feel the responsiveness to issues is too slow

Overall experience went very smooth, from selecting lot, floor plan, brick, etc. A little more clarity on what are builder options vs design center options would be helpful. Also would like more options for lighting than what was offered. Construction phase went very good with timely updates and walk-thru meetings. Hector and John very great to work with.

Our Construction Manager, Ed, has visited on multiple occasions to ensure that any warranty matters are addressed in a timely manner.

Jennifer was helpful and responsive whenever we had a problem Our builder Ben was conscientious and very organized. He did everything possible to ensure that our house was ready on time. All of our issues were resolved and he was a pleasure to work with.

My first home in TX was a Highland Home. I later moved to another new build by a different builder. What a step down that was Although the new home was more expensive, the quality of the finishing left a lot to be desired. Drawers were noisy, appliances cheap, we had several warranty requests, much more than we did in our Highland home. When we started looking for a home again, our first stop was Highlands. We are very satisfied with our decision and we love our new home. Will I buy a Highland home again? Absolutely!!!
