The sales and superintendent personnel were awesome, extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs - could not find better people to work with. Some of the work done in the house was a bit sloppy, but when we pointed out something that needed to be addressed they were on it immediately. ... More

We love our home and location. The only thing we would have liked during the build would be more attention to detail, quality control and workmanship, all of which would have been taken care of with an on site construction manager. An onsite punch list during the build with each and every contractor/crew for accountability would have alleviated most of these problems. The construction site was Always a mess compared to other builders in the area and a lot of followup work was needed during and after the finish to bring it up to acceptable. ... More

Our home seller was outstanding (Brittany Kennedy) she responded to ours concerns very quickly and efficiently. She was very patient and understanding with us. She was the main reason we bought here, because of her professionalism and expertise. Building our home from another state was a concern but given our realtor and building supervisor this was a smooth process. Brian was phenomenal and when an issue occurred he was quick to coordinate the correction. This was our second home my wife and I built and because of exceptional customer service we felt very comfortable when we moved in. ... More

Highland homes has quality workmanship but it truly comes down to who your builder is (your person running the show). Some care a lot and some could care less. So after you pick your builder (Highland, Pulte, DR Horton, etc).....then you need to fully vet the guy who will be running the show and ask around. ... More

Our builder, Ian was great and is still helping us. Our sales person, Dolly was amazing and did anything to help. The design center was the only part in the process that was less than satisfactory. If you work with Holly, please come with all your design ideas and make sure you ask about everything in the house. She left a lot out for us. ... More

This was my second time buying a home and it went very smooth. This was the first time I've had to sell a house and buy at the same time. Highland Homes was very flexible by allowing me ample time to sell our previous home, and was understanding when it took a little longer than expected during the COVID pandemic. Ethan was easily the best part of the buying experience. He was extremely responsive and transparent about the whole process. ... More

We got a very nice house with some very nice features. The sales team was great and very responsive. The first foreman (person in charge who gets everything done on time and correctly) left much to be desired. Subsequent foremen have been wonderful. Our best suggestion to a future home buyer would be to pay very close attention to the change orders which identify any enhancements or modifications to the base plans. Be sure items discussed end up on the change orders or they won't happen. Review the change orders closely and make sure they are complete and accurate. ... More

Hi Harry,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I am delighted to hear that you enjoy your house and that you had a wonderful experience with our sales team! I am sorry to hear there were some issues through the process and after speaking with Ron, our Division Construction Manager, I am pleased that we were able to work through these with you! Please let our team know if there is any additional way that we can be of service and thank you for being a Highland Homeowner! highlandhomes

Our sales agent was amazing and our second CM has been wonderful, but unfortunately, some mistakes are too expensive and work-intensive to resolve at this point. Our first CM made a slew of mistakes -- misframed walls, crooked island, and we ended up with a sewage backup within the first week, of living in our new home. We definitely wish we'd had an inspector come out for the predrywall walk and again before closing. GET A GOOD INSPECTOR! However, overall, we are loving our home and our new CM has been very empathetic and good to work with in correcting issues that we can still resolve. While there are things we wish we'd done differently during the building / inspection process, we don't regret going with Highland and would recommend them to our friends and family. ... More

The Highland employees are very friendly and helpful. Building a new home Is a very complex process, so be sure to document everything and try to be as involved during the construction process, as possible. We are not pleased with the masonry sub-contractor but understand they have since replaced them. Highland also appears to be genuinely concerned about taking care of any warranty issues. Overall it was a fun and exciting experience. We love our new home and recommend Highland Homes. ... More

Had to call twice now for breaker keeps blowing. Electrician keeps coming out saying there is no issues. So guess we will just have to get used to resetting the breaker.
