We Love our Highland Home ! They cared about every hurdle that came up during the building process. Zach was so kind and caring and helpful during the process from the very beginning. Trystan was also caring and kind and was right on top of anything we asked or needed during the building process and after completion. These guys are great assets to the company. I would recommend this builder to anyone.

Support, knowledge, and willingness of Juan Carlos were beyond expectations. Juan treat us so well. His communication and proposal were clear and punctual. He did and does an exceptional job! Congratulations !

Construction process went as scheduled, kept informed at every stage and any issues resolved promptly.

The buying process have been smooth except that there’s a lot of pending issues of the house that hasn't been fixed until now and it's been 2 most since the closing date. They knew about this issues before the closing date and we have been patiently waiting for them to fixed it. The builder even told us during the buyer's orientation that they will have a 1-month follow up after the closing date to check if how is the house, but no one came, I guess there is no such thing as that. I hoping they'll be more responsive and act timely not just in words but in action.

I would highly recommend working with highland homes. They have an outstanding relationship in Texas and produce a quality product.

The quality of products and material used in a 735K home is poor. The floor is painful to walk on due to no padding under wood and low grade padding under carpet. Wall finish is matte. Shower marble tile was not even attempted to look cohesive.

The company will make sure it is correct and the warranty service is top notch. They always take care of their customers.

The Sales team was/is awesome! Friendly, cooperative, informative, always my advocate. My construction manager was AWESOME too! He kept me informed every step of the way and addressed any questions I had very promptly. He is very courteous and proactive. I am very happy with the entire experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Highland to anyone looking for a great experience and a great value in a new home.

I can't say enough good things about Highland homes and my experience. Ken, Kent, Patti, Doug, Leslie, Frank, and Darrell have all been fantastic to work with. Ken and Kent are great salespeople and truly excellent advocates for your business. Kent spent so much time with me discussing options and helping me make good informed decisions with his transparent approach. Leslie at design is a gem. She helped us pick everything, and we used her expert advice for some things we weren't really sure what to pick like grout colors. I spent most of this process working with Frank on the construction of the house and warranty requests post closing. He has been truly first class, responsive, and accommodating. Any time I brought up a concern or question, we talked about it and found an agreeable solution. Doug and Patti spent countless hours working through the mortgage application process, rate discussions, then finishing touches for under writing. I can't say enough what a pleasure these people all were to work with. I am a project manager by trade and I felt comfortable having great partners in this journey. When my wife and I decided to buy a house,we looked around many different builders but the moment we saw HIGHLAND HOMES we were amazed by the quality and luxury of their homes & designs . When you buy a highland home you are buying excellent quality homes.. our home is beautiful no issues enjoying it !

This has been one of the worst home building experiences I’ve ever had or heard of. Nothing but issues all around and it’s taking weeks to get resolutions. When one thing is fixed, something else comes up. I don’t understand how this company is rated “high” when I’ve had nothing but problems. Home was poorly crafted and rushed to be completed.

Everything was going great until the day after funds were transferred on closing. There are still items from our second walk-through that are pending. There is absolutely no communication on getting these items fixed. I have called multiple people at corporate and have always been redirected and left voicemails because i was reassured that I would get a return call but that hasn't happened yet. It has been over two months since closing and items from our walkthrough are still pending. The process with our construction manager was seamless. However after closing, It's hard to reach anyone and communication is minimal to none. I would suggest that anyone buying a house to make sure everything is fixed before transferring funds. I can't imagine how horrible it will be submitting warranty request when items from before closing haven't been done. It is night and day difference how highland homes treats you when they already have your money vs when they don't. FYI, I have heard similar complaints from new neighbors as well so it seems to be a common thing. ... More

My wife and I had such an amazing experience with highland homes. We could have not asked for a better experince. Heather was such an amazing person to work with. We met her first and she made the process very easy and simple for us. She was very professional and responsive to any questions we had. Our Assigned project Manager was Juan. He did an outstanding job! I can not speak highly enough about him. He made sure that all of our deadlines were met on time and went above and beyond to have additional things done for us that we didn’t catch. He was very professional and responsive.
