We checked many builders in Texas and chose Highland based on numerous positive reviews from Highlanf home owners. Add us to the list of extremely satisfied costumers!! We have nothing but positive experiences from the sales team (Shout out to Jonathon) and our construction manager (Walter). Everyone was extremely professional and responded promptly to our wants and needs.

The process and communication of purchasing my home was extremely easy. I felt the entire staff welcomed me and gave me guidance on what to expect at closing. The community is beautful and I feel extremely fortunate to call Cambridge Crossing my home.

Buying a Highland Home was the right choice. The home quality of the house is as expected and more. Judy, Alex, and Highland team made sure to cover all the details to deliver a great product. Highly recommended.

The most amazing community in this area

Our sales folks and builder never seemed to be on the same page from the get go. Despite several attempts to bridge the gap between us and the builder, we had to bring in the senior manager to help rectify the situation. Once that was done, the customer service and communication improved to an acceptable level. The home was delivered later than promised, but the quality is definitely there.

Excellent builder and great quality

We were excited to build a new home. But when we moved in, there were several items that were not completed. The house was not cleaned at all except for the carpets which had mud stains. They should have not been stained by workers. We had to clean the garage, which was filthy, and the attic was supposed to be straightened but not done. We pointed out that there was paint on the floor but that was not cleaned moving into the house. We had to do all that work that should have been done before we moved. The driveway was covered in oil paint from the house next door. The workers should be informed that these are expensive properties and care should be used while working on house to prevent damage. They do not take care when doing their job like getting paint on the new flooring. Also, our property should have been power washed before closing. We had our work-through and taped "bad" spots on the walls, but they did not fix until over a week later. Several pieces of the tape fell off, so they ended up not being fix. In fact, some of the items we pointed out were not finished the day before closing. We pointed out stuff before closing that needed to be done (and said was done) but later found out it was not done. After closing, we let the contractor know some problem issues. We had pointed out before closing, 2 bushes were dead, so they needed to be replaced when the water ban was lifted. These were eventually replaced but think that the landscaping should have been watered or not put in until water ban was lifted. We had several issues that had to be fixed. Our vanity lights were not installed before moving in. The lights came in and under the LED lights, the wall was not painted and textured, which we asked if it was done so the lights could be installed when they came in. It was an additional 2 weeks before the wall was fixed so the lights could be installed. We had to fight to finish the bad paint job. We were told we had been given the opportunity to QC the house, so it was our problem. We are paying 700,000 for a house and think that the builders should QC their homes. We pointed out that they did not paint house right after we QC'd and tape came off. They had sent painters, but we were not informed they were coming. They ran in, slapped some paint on, and ran out. We did not have chance to point out spots they missed. After bringing up our point, new painters came out and they did an excellent job. We also had an issue we pointed out before closing that was not addressed until a month plus later. There was a piece of trim in the master bathroom the was not finished. It cutoff at a very sharp angle. We asked that to be fixed but it took long time to get addressed. There were many minor issues. Some took a long time to get addressed after bringing them up, so I ended up entering warranty issues so that they could be addressed. After that, things got addressed and there are no outstanding issues. As far as what we requested, we ordered a lighting package, but it was discontinued. The new lighting came with a single pendant light. We wanted three pendant lights so builder ordered pendants from another lighting package that had 3 pendants. We are very happy with those pendant lights. But we were supposed to have an extra outlet in the garage between the two garage doors, but it was put in the back of the garage where we cannot use it. It was supposed to be near the front so we can use power tools to work on projects. Lastly, the quality of construction is poor. Being that we are from a strong union state, our standards may be higher than here. The fence is new but most of the nails are not nailed into the studs and will need to be re-nailed. The windows are not even. House seems like it was "eye-balled" instead of making sure it was level and plumb. We are happy with our floor plan and our design choices. But we would probably not recommend Highland Homes since their quality of work is low and they do not turn over a clean house. ... More

Could not be happier with our purchasing experience, closing process, and responsiveness to the “punch” list. I have recommend them to potential buyers and would highly recommend them to family and friends. The solid doors, high ceilings and energy efficiency are hard to match.

Everyone we worked with at Highland Homes in Bridgeland was very easy to talk to and work with. They were very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say. I wasn’t looking forward to the building process, but they all made it much better than I thought it would be. Our builder made a big difference. He was great to work with, easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The one area I wish we could have had some input, was the landscaping. IT HAS BEEN A GREAT EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH HIGHLAND HOME.

I bought the model home that was 6 years old. I was told that I had a warranty. NEVER NEVER did they tell me differently. I have an issue with the refrigerator that came with the house. I asked about putting in a warranty and was told then that there was NO ONE YEAR warranty on the home. I was told that they GAVE me money back to buy a 3rd party home owners insurance. The paperwork I saw, after closing, seemed to say that highland homes was paying for the insurance. Been informed now that that's now how they understood it. Bottom line, it's a very nice home BUT Highland Homes was NOT open and honest with me about this. I trusted and believe them when they told me that I had a warranty. Not the best experience when building a new house - our builder did not respond promptly to our issues/concerns, and he became defensive when we pointed out issues and/or concerns. We are moved in and continue to deal with issues that should have been resolved prior to closing.

We had a great experience building our house with Highland Homes !!!

From initial contact with sales rep Avery through the build process with Mark our builder the experieince was exceptional. This is the second Highland home that we've purchased and it was very enjoyable to nerd out on teh build process itself. In my opinion as a business leader fro over 30 years I beleive I have developed an eye for talent and Avery and Mark are stars in your organization .

Our home buying experience journey was smooth and transparent . Sales folk to the construction manager zack were great and were really helpful through the the process.

Our salesperson, Gracie, and the construction superintendent were great to work with. Both were extremely responsive and professional. They were great with communication throughout the whole process from contract to closing.

From the beginning of the construction Jordan help me to understand all the process of the construction also is something don't look right they fix right away no question ask,after we closing the house they always respond my call and fix any additional details I find on my house ,super professional,me and my family are super happy to make the decision to choose highlands homes.

Overall process was smooth for first time home buyers

better give customers with some upgrades at home. we already ended up paying big amounts.

A lot of back and forth with the agent and still need some help with a replacement blind and replacement chandelier
