John Hayes, our highland homes construction manager exceeded and continues to exceed our expectations on what a construction manager does. He provided inisight, suggestions and provided us with peace of mind that our home was being built with the upmost care. We build a strong relationship throughout the process and i know we will keep this relationship moving forward.Cannot stress enough hoe impactful John was and continues to be. I know that there are awards given to exceptional representatives and want to make sure that John is nominated for builder/construction manager of the year.

It was easy to by they respond to things really fast that need to be fixed nice house.

My fourth home build - and my worst. The quality of the workmanship is very poor.

Our superintendent Blake was awesome! Monica and Sydney were a pleasure to work with. They all took care of us while trying to build a home while still living over 2.5 hours away. Highland Homes was a very accommodating builder which was much appreciated.

We were sold the idea we were buying a high end or quality build. However, the home has been problem after problem so far and the builder in our opinion cut many corners during the build process . There seems to be little to no focus on build quality or craftsmanship.

Remarkable experience from start to finish. Special shout out to Bryn, Rachel and Blake. Truly an “A” team of expert professionals that also understand you have to care about customer before selling a home.

This was our second Highland Home. Planning on it being our last, the initial experience was good, but went down hill with a temporary showroom and lack luster selection. Then our Construction Manager was out sick from just after foundation pour till a month before closing. Never the less they kept building, we would walk through on weekends and notice that there was work going on but under no real supervision. Needless to say there were issues but luckily I contracted a home inspector. We wish people were honest and trustworthy but at the end of the day I don’t know what I’m looking at and it’s a lot of money we are paying for to have second rate contractors while being charged at a level of licensed contractors. As we got closer to closing we come and find out that we requested matching hutch and they didn’t submit the request in time so we didn’t get what we originally agreed to and are stuck with someone else’s mistake of being overwhelmed with paperwork and fill other people jobs. Currently going through the house getting ready to submit repairs orders just having to deal with this can be overwhelming. It was great experience purchasing from Highland Homes. I love my home. Everyone I know that has a Highland home has positive feedback. If there's any issues, I can submit a request online and Keith is on it. He is fast and caring.

This is my second Highland Home and I am very happy with how everything turned out. They were with me every step of the way and continue to respond after closing if there are any issues. My first Highland Home was solid and my second home is just as beautiful. I would highly recommend this builder because they truly stand behind their product.

A LOT of lip service and passing the buck. Contractor blames the builder and visa versa. It’s been two months and still waiting for issues to be resolved. I firmly believe if my original sales person would not have left the WHOLE process would have been different and I would have had a positive experience. Mark leaving was a HUGE disservice to Highland homes. On a positive note, The people in the neighborhood are wonderful and I am sure I will be happier when I hire my own competent people to complete the work correctly and not do a Mickey Mouse job.

Our entire Highland team — everyone from the sales folks facilitating and communicating our design choices, to our stellar construction manager making sure our voice was heard, did an excellent job of delivering a quality home. They did a great job of setting expectations for build timelines and communicated us with throughout the entire process. Ultimately, we are very happy with our new home and continue to appreciate the care and attention they’re giving us to make sure things are going well.

Well built home that responds perfectly to our needs

This is my first home and the experience with Highland could not have been any worse. From delays, to financing, to the build quality of the home. Everything from doors to sprinklers, fence, hvac, even the way the loan was handled. We did everything in our part but Highland has time after time underdelivered. LOOK TO ANOTHER BUILDER!

The experience of purchasing home from Highland home are great and smooth. The builder response quick to our questions and need. Though we found some issues before/after the moving-in, they all get quickly resolved by the builder.

Make sure you get your own home inspector!

Our sales counselor Meghan was very easy to work with and did a great job explaining the various aspects of the home. Chris, the construction manager, was quite knowledgeable and responsive to our questions after closing. We couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase experience.

I had awesome experiences with sales (Val) and walk through with the builder (Mike). Mike and Val have been responsive to all my questions and completed any actions that were needed. Val has made me feel welcome in the community with her kindness, reminders, and holiday greetings. More than happy with my new home.

From Virginia/Bonnie to Andreas and Will, my experience has been wonderful. I love my home it is so beautiful from the plan to the choices the designer made in the home, the backyard—the width and the depth of the backyard. everything is beautiful. Andreas and Will have been responsive and very efficient. I’m thrilled. I couldn’t be happier… Will is the best such a doll. He cares. I’ve never seen such responsiveness and follow-ups. This is our 2nd highland home. Both our builder and community manger were awesome. They helped much with all my change requests and really got us the home we wanted. I would have asked for various changes way after contract signing and all these changes were accommodated. Ever after closing, my builder was very helpful in taking care of fixes that home required. Great team and service; very honest and trustworthy.
