This is the third new home that my wife and I have purchased, and this was the best experience yet. Highlands is a great value, and their staff were fantastic to work with. The home is built with quality as a priority as opposed to some of the other builders in the area. They were very responsive both during the building process and even after closing with warranty issues. We have had very few warranty issues and the minor issues we had were addressed immediately. I would absolutely recommend Highlands to friends and family.

Very pleased with our new Highland townhome. Todd was great to work with. We had a few minor repair issues and Kris was on top of everything. He even went to the new house to meet the contractors when I was unavailable. Excited to be moving in.

My experience with the Anita and Bannett was beautiful. They were always ready to help. The paint used in the house especially the cabinet retains stains and difficult to wipe stains of them. And I think the furnishings in the house could heve been better too. But Anita and Bannett were awesome

She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and set the tone for a positive experience. Morgan, the sales manager, was responsive and helpful with any questions I had or when I needed assistance. She made the process feel smooth and stress-free. My construction manager for the second half of my build journey, Giovanni, was professional and easy to work with. He kept everything running efficiently and communicated all updates with me in a timely manner to make sure my home was built with care and attention to detail. We purchased our Highland Home on a 70-foot lot in the La Cima community. While the home is visually attractive, we do not believe it was worth the price paid. Our appraisal came in below the contract price, and Highland strongly contested it, relying on trade adjustments rather than true comparable market sales to justify the higher value. There were also construction issues that should never occur at this price point. The exterior brick was installed incorrectly — set inside the foundation edges rather than flush or evenly overhanging — which resulted in a loss of interior square footage. We paid for several upgrades, yet every upgraded feature had quality issues. For example, the upgraded soft-close cabinets (a feature that is standard even in many lower-end builds) were poorly constructed and remain an ongoing issue to correct. The drywall and paint work throughout the home were subpar, with visible imperfections everywhere. The flooring appeared rushed and shortcuts were taken, including the use of quarter rounds to conceal poor workmanship. When those quarter rounds were later painted, paint was splattered onto the flooring, requiring multiple planks to be replaced. Overall, attention to detail was clearly lacking. The home felt rushed to meet closing deadlines rather than properly finished. Electrical outlets and switches were placed inconsistently or impractically. Doors consistently creak. Concrete work throughout the property looks unfinished and careless. Additionally, Highland offered a smart-home package to buyers who paid less than we did, then informed us midway through construction that the package was no longer available to us. Low-voltage wiring was improperly placed, incompatible, or missing altogether. While not legally required, we believe Highland had an ethical responsibility to disclose known safety concerns or potentially dangerous conditions or individuals in the area, which was not done. Based on our experience only and on our opinion only, we would not choose Highland Homes again and would advise prospective buyers to thoroughly inspect workmanship, upgrades, and pricing justification before proceeding. ... The sales team was great. When construction started, that’s when things went south. Our construction manager was changed after the house was started. Things that were written on the scope were not followed through correctly. We are very disappointed with the workmanship of the house. I have a working list of 27 items for warranty at this time that I need to submit. Also disappointed in the materials that were used especially using mdf products and not wood for baseboards and trim around doors. Do love the floor plan that we selected.

Our experience with Highland has been great. Manny was very helpful during the sale process and the construction manager Jonathan has been absolutely stellar both before and after closing. We are very happy with our home!

Home is very nice and no major issues so far. However, we feel that landscaping, cabinet shelving, and small master bedroom closet could be improved.

Highland homes designs some of the best homes in highland. We bought a 65 foot lot with the one story home. The design is so grand from the entry you walk down this awesome hallway into a great room that includes large kitchen, keeping, dinning and living room with 14 foot ceilings!!!! The materials and finishes are all high quality. Our project manager Charles walked us through the entire process and made sure everything was done the way it should be. Every new home will have some issues or things that may not be completed correctly. We had very little issues and mostly just cosmetic. It was very easy to work with the builder’s agent, Jack L., during the planning process. He was quick to respond and consistently kept me informed about building progress. The construction manager, Bennett, was excellent — I really appreciated the weekly update emails and the site visits to review progress in person. I only wish the closing process had not felt so rushed. Overall, it was a very good experience

Our experience with Highland Homes in the Wildflower Community has been outstanding. The neighborhood is beautifully, peaceful, and very family-friendly. The amenities and walking trails make it a great place to live, especially for military and veteran families looking for a strong sense of community. The home-buying process was smooth, and the staff was professional, responsive, and supportive from start to finish. We loved Ginger in sales and Aaron our PM . We’re extremely happy with our new home and highly recommend Highland Homes to anyone looking for quality, and community.

We have been very impressed with Highland. The build process, finishes and post closing have been a great experience. Our building manager, Brandon is very responsive not only during the build but after we closed. We couldn’t be happier with our beautiful home.

Unfortunately, one of the subcontractors absolutely failed in trying to resolve an ongoing issue. While it was finally resolved, it was because of my persistence, not the builder’s or the subcontractor’s efforts. This one experience was a total fail which turned an otherwise amazing homebuyer experience from all 5’s to all 4’s.

There are many cosmetic issues with the home. The painting is really poorly done and a lot of the internals look and feel cheap. We keep finding more and more things the builders messed up and it's becoming tiring to chase after them for help so we will be hiring people to come fix the issues out of our own pocket.

My experience with Highland did not meet the level of quality I expected. The team is very attentive during the sales process, but once closing is complete, the follow‑up and customer support seem to disappear. Follow‑through is one of the most important parts of any home purchase, and Highland needs to remember that. The workmanship has the potential to be excellent, but only if the crews take their time and do the job correctly the first time. For example, I watched a worker remove a tree from my backyard. Even though he had bags of planting soil on his truck, he chose instead to fill the hole with dry dirt taken from the empty lot next door. Why weren’t the bags of topsoil used in my yard as intended? Situations like this undermine confidence in Highland’s quality and attention to detail. ... More

Buying a home from highland was a great experience they went out there way to help with everything I needed to get approved Alan was great strongly recommended using him out his team he was always there when I had a question and always had an answer for me or he would get someone else with the answer. What can I say about the house it’s beautiful you really get your money’s worth they use high end materials over all strongly recommend buying a highland home
