Heather was fantastic and put me at ease. I had a lot of questions and she knew everything. I have a serious finance background and she covered all of my questions with confidence that comes from experience. I was comfortable driving over from San Antonio and putting the house under contract in less than thirty minutes. Heather is a huge asset to the organization.

Overall, we are very happy with our Highland Home and truly love the house. The quality of the build is good, and as a builder myself, I can say the craftsmanship and overall construction met expectations. The sales process was excellent — smooth, professional, and easy from start to finish. That part of the experience was handled very well. Where things fell short was the customer service and punch-list process. Several items that were documented and supposed to be completed before move-in were not addressed. Some items were even marked as completed, only for us to discover they were not fixed and had to be added back to the list. Unfortunately, those items still have not been resolved. That inconsistency is the only reason this is not a 5-star review. The home itself is great, but the follow-through on repairs and communication could be improved. If Highland Homes strengthens the post-sale service and accountability on documented items, the experience would fully match the quality of the product they deliver. ... More

We had a wonderful experience with Highland Homes. Luna, Dillion, and Lane were an amazing team and made the entire process seamless. We couldn’t be happier with our new home!

Got great value and build quality from highland. Build manager Greg is great and finance team was responsive. Only lackluster experience was with our sales counselors Ayse who basically stopped being responsive once we signed the contract. Outside of that disappointment have been please without purchase.

We have been very satisfied with our first experience purchasing a Highland home. The staff is great to work with and very responsive. Never felt left out of the loop during construction. The portal is easy to use anytime we have a question or a request.

BENNETT’s and Jack provided an excellent home-building experience from start to finish. The team was professional, responsive, and transparent throughout the entire process. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and communication was always clear and timely. Buying a home can be extremely hectic. Lula not only provided guidance throughout the entire purchase process but often times going the extra mile answering calls/texts during off hours as well as taking time to explain to me in details of my questions or documents I don’t understand. Lane is professional and courteous. He paid great attention in details when doing home walk thrus and follows through timely on issue discovered either during walk through or responding to service requests. I have been very happy with my new Highland home! I have been very impressed with the quality and workmanship of my house and I appreciate all of the attention to detail given to it. The entire Highland Homes team was helpful and courteous throughout the buying process and after. I would highly recommend buying from them!

We had a few hiccups early on in the construction process. But, once Eric got involved everything worked smoothly. Eric is EXTREMELY good at his job and was very responsive to any and all my concerns!

The people from Highland were really amazing at the time to buy the property. Everything went smoothly and was laid out point by point and followed to the dot. In regards to responsiveness they have been attentive and always making us feel as part of the community. I would definitely recommend them for building, ease of payment and warranty.

Initial contact was with Christi in sales. She was super helpful and so easy to work with. We continued to work with her till the house was handed off. There are so many ideas that she helped with. D'Marco was the construction project manager assigned. He addressed every single issue that was raised during construction to our satisfaction. This was our first experience building a home, and we initially approached the process with some hesitation due to the many negative stories we had heard from others about their home building experiences. From the very beginning, however, our Sales Counselor, Alecia, along with the entire model home team, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and confident in our decision. It quickly became clear that Highland Homes has a well-defined building process and thoughtfully designed plans, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency—an important priority for us. We were especially fortunate to have Travis as our Construction Manager. He consistently communicated next steps proactively and was patient, accommodating, and highly responsive to our many questions and concerns throughout the build. Despite several change orders we introduced along the way, Travis was able to keep the project on schedule and even completed our home a full month ahead of schedule. We also greatly appreciated the time he took to meet with us in person to walk through maintenance items and provide guidance for long-term care of our home. The process was amazing from start to finish. Any issues or concerns I had were listened to, and the team truly did their best to help every step of the way. Buying a house can be stressful, but they made it smooth and reassuring. I’m very grateful for their professionalism, patience, and dedication.

Communication and follow thru was missing at times. It felt like we didn't know where things were such as sprinkler system to shut down the water consumption. We've been in our new home for six weeks and some (not all) repairs are finally being taken care of. We still have an issue with the kitchen cabinet drawer broken. Design of home is nice, functionality is less than desirable. For example the kitchen does not have enough counter space or cabinets. Very tight between island and stove area.
