We were beyond impressed with our experience with Highland Homes. Throughout the building process, Conner (our builder) sent us thorough updates about the process of our new build. When we met in person, we never felt rushed. We really appreciated his attention to detail - he would remember small things we told him about and make it happen! Since we have moved in to our house, he has been stellar at addressing our warranty requests quickly and following up to make sure we don't have any other concerns. From the very beginning when we met with Lula our sales counselor, we knew this was the best decision for us and our family. Lula was with us from start to finish and we couldn't be happier having her as our sales counselor. I was a bit nervous at fist we weren't going to speaking with Lula as much during the build but Preston our construction Manager really went above and beyond this gentlemen is the reason why I would build with Highland Again. We had an amazing experience building with Highland Homes. Every member of the sales team was warm and welcoming. We worked the closest with Danielle. She made the whole process smooth and simple. We even changed directions right before signing our contract and she was accommodating and made sure we felt 100% comfortable before moving forward. Lane was our construction manager for our house. He was extremely detail oriented and communicative. He was on top of anything that came up, and was very knowledgeable with any questions we had along the way. This was our first home purchase and despite the immensity of research we conducted, it was daunting to say the least. Our first contact was with Jonathan at Highland Homes, and he immediately put us at ease with his Carisma, attention to detail, customer focus, professionalism, honesty and transparency in explaining the home buying process with Highland Homes. Jonathan skillfully helped us navigate the process once we decided on purchasing our new home with Highland a few months ago. His knowledge and aptitude of the home buying process was on constant display, providing us with adequate & timely information and options to ease the decision-making process, without being forceful or aggressive. He was assertive and supportive with the many decisions we had to make. Jaun, our Construction Manager, was exceptional as well. His aptitude, knowledge and willingness to assist were impressive. He kept us well apprise of the progress of our new homes on a weekly basis with pictures, phone calls, etc, especially since we were still living in another state. Having his personal cell phone number on speed dial gave us a sense of confidence and peace of mind. His attention to detail ensuring that everything was perfect for the final move-in was on point, since we were encouraged to hire our own independent inspector. All the minor findings were dealt with expeditiously to our complete satisfaction. What impresses us most about the Highland Homes experience, was not just the smooth process from start to finish, selecting the home, realtor, financing, inspections, etc, but their follow-up after we moved in to ensure that everything was as expected; they genuinely displayed a vested interest in their customers satisfaction. We were drawn to Highland Homes because of their exceptional reputation and top-notch reviews. We choose them because of the first impression we had and the unforgettable experience we had with Jonathan, Juan & the rest of the Highland Team. This experience was as smooth as it could get with no major hiccups or concerns. Kira and Mike were great throughout the home buying process. They made it seamless for us and made sure all our requests were fulfilled on time. Mike is very responsive and made sure we understood everything about the home and was always available to help us with our questions and requests. Highly recommend him! Apart from that, the only feedback we have is the quality of wood used for doors. It chips easily so maybe it would be better to have more sturdy wood.

After spending some time in Parten Ranch, we met with Renee and decided to build in the new section. From the very beginning, everyone involved went above and beyond. Preston was always available and always had a solution/answer for any questions we had. Preston definitely paid attention to all the details that we needed addressed and took care of them very quickly. Renee and Preston come with very high recommendations for time they spent making our build and move run smoothly.

We really enjoyed the PURCHASING process of buying our first home. The sales team was always attentive and the office staff were more than welcoming when we were signing our documents to close. Construction is a different story, while the home seems to be built well our construction manager is little to no help at all. Every single question we have asked has been answered, but answered incorrectly. We have been given several answers to our questions which has resulted in hundreds of dollars of wasted money because the construction team has given us incorrect info. I think they need to reevaluate who they are hiring to manage these houses and make sure the people in the field know what they are talking about before they start answering questions. ... More

Our experience with Highland, specifically Avery (Sales), Sara (Lender) and Whitaker (Construction Manger) was fantastic! They made us feel comfortable throughout the process, answered all of our questions, and there were plenty, and really helped us feel like we made the absolute correct decision in buying a Highland Home. Whitaker in particular has been FANTASTIC! He’s answered every question or concern and has been just above and beyond what we could have asked for in our Construction Manager. There is a lot of stress, anxiety and decision making that goes into the process of building. Whitaker alone has justified us purchasing a Highland Home and we couldn’t have gone through the process without him. He was attentive, trustworthy and knowledgeable, just a good guy! We closed on our beautiful new Highland Home in Parten Ranch in March 2025, and the entire process was exceptional from start to finish. Having built several homes before, including a custom home, we can confidently say this was our best home-building experience yet. From day one, we felt supported by a team that combined professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care. During the planning phase, every detail of the home was thoughtfully considered—especially accommodations tailored to meet our particular needs. The construction process was equally impressive. The job site was always clean and well-organized, communication was consistent and clear, and the craftsmanship stood out—even earning praise from a third-party inspector. Every step of the way, it was clear that quality and customer satisfaction were top priorities. Since closing and moving into our new home, the follow-up has been amazing. I must say that this was a surprisingly pleasant experience from start to finish. I truly was not expecting Highland to be so accommodating of my requests. While, most of the build process went according to plan life is such that it throws curve balls at you every now and then! It is at those times that you know for certain that Highland is a great builder because of the way they responded and by their willingness to make things right and to our satisfaction. This point should not be overlooked as buying a new construction home is going to be the largest financial transaction you ever make and you do not want to be worrying nor stressing out about how your house is getting built. We had a wonderful home buying experience at Highlands. Zack was an excellent construction manager—very helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. He made everything smooth and easy for us. The after-sales service has also been outstanding. We highly recommend them!
