George is slow to responses and he forgets tasks. We had to remind him of things he promised to fix not once or twice and even had to inform him we would inform his boss.

My experience with buying a Highland Home has been excellent. Debbie was helpful and outstanding through the buying phase. Shawn has been great through the whole process and is amazing to work with.

When I called my sales agent to delay the closing for one week then she denied saying that she is going to cancel the contract and house was even not completed. Post closing I have to follow up with builder many time to get the things fixed but still its on. I am definitely not happy. They even didn't share the electrical upgrade list with price breakup.

Great buying experience! Julie made the process easy, and Trey, our builder, did everything he could to accommodate our requests. He was lights out amazing and the service after the sale knocked our socks off. The quality in our house is amazing, and our power bill was cut in half relative to our old house. Very impressed!

Our entire home buying experience with highland homes has been on another level, from customer service to quality to attention to detail…the designer options were also very high end and we feel like highland delivered us a home that was worth every penny we spent. We started a new build with Highland Homes last year while living in a different city. The Highland team made this process SO unbelievably smooth and wonderful, I truly could not have asked for a better experience. The sales team - Edna, Kim, Beth, and Janet were so amazing to work with. They were with me every step of the way answering all of my questions and ensuring everything was in order. Our PM, Jordan, is a complete rockstar. He sent weekly updates, photos and videos during the build, going above and beyond ensuring I was informed along the way. Anytime I needed anything, he was able to help, and also offered solutions to a few ideas we had. The finished home blew us away. The construction, the design, the products all exceeded our expectations. We haven’t had many issues since moving in, but the minor warranty items were handled easily and quickly. We financed through Highland Homes, which was also a very positive experience. Lindsay and her team made what can often be a very stressful experience so smooth and easy. This was our first new home build. KALEB was great through the entire process - even after the sale he has been amazing

The purchase experience was excellent. There have been some hiccups in getting warranty work scheduled and completed. Overall the customer service is good.

I am grateful to have Mike as my builder. He is quick to respond and help in any situation. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.

First, I would like to say that Brandon did an amazing job with everything. He resolved all of our issues and kept in great contact with us throughout the entire process and went the extra mile to ensure we were constantly informed. One thing I would like to bring to light is the quality of the build. It seems a large portion of the build was rushed. Framing, trimming, caulking, tile, could all have used a little extra care. However, the good outweighs the bad. Overall, we happy about the home.

We are very happy with our home. It came out just like how we had imagined it. The supply chain threw a few bumps at us along the way, but Scott S and Colleen M were very helpful and skillful in coming up with solutions and alternatives to keep the build on schedule. My wife and I like to stay engaged through out the process to avoid costly corrections. Highland home allowed us to fully engage with sacrificing our safely. Like any build, we found minor fixes here and there, Scott S was very responsive in getting those polished up. Inspections were a breeze. We financed our home through Highland Home loans as well. My wife and I recently built with Highland Homes, and they truly are an excellent production builder, but in this brutally honest review, they are, indeed, a production builder. Our builder was amazing, helped us with some custom requests, and the construction process seemed to go pretty seamlessly. The reason I ding them an overall star is for the closing process with the home. Nothing to do with their mortgage company, or any surprises, however the cleaning company they use to get the house ready for closing day was an absolute atrocity. We found window screens ajar outside, with some windows being a crack open. No actual cleaning of the cabinets / floors, and the 8k we paid in window shades was done, and it was just a disapointing end to a rather great experience otherwise. The other thing is the amount of issues that were missed during the walkthroughs, which I can take blame for. We had some water leaking from our master shower, we had a couple of irrigation leaks for our sprinkles, and a lot of nonsense issues that you have to call customer care for to have taken care of on a work order. They do respond timely, but to have 8-10 work orders after you move in just adds to the stress. Seems as though the trades install things, but don't actively test to ensure everything is working correctly. My advice to Highland is that if you have customers who are moving into $700,000+ homes, make them feel like you cared enough to have them ready. ... More

Hello, we had high expectations as to the quality of home and work it will be done to the home we bought in detail from wall caulking to door paints etc. The drain was already clogged in master. No proper inspection is done. Builder claims someone came after their inspection and dumpped some garbage so funny. I asked for report showing the master bath is inspected. The water does to the corner and stacks the board they are using is not level this is very basic to make sure to turn on the water in the shower and make sure it properly drains and doesnt stack in the corner. They clearly failed and now they want to break everything up and reopen the base and properly level it and redo the tile work on the walls and rehook up the door this is just nuisance in the middle if school year. Kathi - the selling agent and her team - was incredible! She went above and beyond to help everything go smoothly! Ryan the builder, was great up front, but there are things that still need to be done to the home that were on the closing list from June. The response to complete that list has been a little lacking.

Our experience with Highland homes is exceptional . Of all the builders we visited and heard there is NO doubt that highland homes is the BEST. Right from the pre-sale discussions they have a positive vibe all the way. All areas like appointments, construction quality, detailed explanations, closing and mainly post closing discussions are taken with utmost care. When we cancelled existing highland contact and took a new one, we hoped to get that earnest transferred but it didn’t happen as it was so close to closing . It is fair on them as it is so close but that was the only thing we would have wished. Would like to mention Michelle and Tom as one of the best in helping our initial discussions. Quality is horrible. Sloppy work. Overpriced. Will Not recommend. House is up for sale. Too many problems.Going to Toll Brothers. Will not recommend!

Warranty repairs are not handled in a timely manner and some repairs created more issues and repairs.

Not to the standard that we expected. We've been living here for 3 months and the issues are still not completed. We keep finding more the longer we live here. Would not recommend Highland Homes to anyone

The only issue we have with our house is the back fence. It makes us feel like we are prisoners. We were never told that the fence would be 8 feet tall. We have one of the smaller backyards in the track so the back yard is only 5 feet from the patio.We wish that it could be taken down 1 foot so we can at least see something other than a fence.

You don't feel like your living in s house of the price tag. Poor workmanship on multiple aspects, lacking higher end feel that the simple things out s house give you.
