First off, Ashley and Stephanie in the sales office were awesome! They were so helpful and accommodating with us during the buying process, it was a pleasure to work with them. Sean, our construction manager is another person who I can’t praise enough. He always made himself available and kept us in the loop on the progress of the build. We had some minor issues during construction, which is to be expected. Once identified Sean was on it and promptly corrected. Two issues we still have are with the painting and landscaping. Caulking around baseboards was sloppy and not consistent from one area to the next. Paint is thin and the walls are not saturated at all. As far as landscaping, The topsoil they used under the sod is virtually non existent. There are hills and valleys all over the yard and the amount and size of the rocks I dig out daily are ridiculous. From start to finish of the process from picking lot to design picks to closing out was overall a great experience.

Since ours is inventory we starting finding issues from first week.

First, I would like to say that Brandon did an amazing job with everything. He resolved all of our issues and kept in great contact with us throughout the entire process and went the extra mile to ensure we were constantly informed. One thing I would like to bring to light is the quality of the build. It seems a large portion of the build was rushed. Framing, trimming, caulking, tile, could all have used a little extra care. However, the good outweighs the bad. Overall, we happy about the home.

The home buying process with Highland Homes was very professional and unique. They made you aware of all aspects of the buying process, and made sure ,you were at ease at all times. They were curious and a pleasure to deal with. My hat goes off to Highland and all their team!!

Never pressured us for anything and most important, she was very knowledgeable about options and upgrades and communicated well on what came with the home we selected. Our builder was excellent; completed the home in seven months and was extremely responsive to issues & questions we had along the way. Very knowledgeable and communicated well throughout.

Love our new home from Highland! There are a couple Things here and there that have had to have work on after closing but nothing major and we absolutely love our new house!

Highland homes are well built with good floor plans. We are in a new portion of the development and there are 3 developers who build here. We are living in a garbage dump!! The builders make no effort to clean up and theirs trash is everywhere. We are constantly picking up trash out of our yard, some is construction debris and even paper plates and cups from the workers lunches!

Owning my own house has always been my greatest dream and it finally came true two months ago when I moved into my new Highland house. The quality is great for the budget I invested in. And my contact Mr.Clayton Coffee has been very professional and responsive when I did encountered a few issues. Great house and I am very glad I made the right choice on Highland Homes.

Sia was great to work with and very trustworthy. Abel responses to issues quickly and is very respectful.

We've had several things thast aren't pleasing but our PM has been right on top of them. Getting subs here to correct has and is an issue. Your cleaning crew, in my opinion, does not do a great job. We've been battling a floor issue here since the walk thru and still waiting. Getting closer but still not complete. Very frustrating at best. Your electrical company too can be frustrating. Takes them too long to respond if they respond at all. WHen one pays for this level of home, there are certain expectations. You all need to hone in on your subs and contractors doing it right the very first time. Am I disappointed in some areas? Absolutely!! I can say that our PM is the best we've ever had and continues to be. Wish you had 100 more like him ... More

Quality of workmanship is not all that great.

The Highland sales team was very attentive. We never 2nd guessed our choice to hire them or to purchase their product. The building process was 90% smooth, and where we ran into a slowdown, it was resolved as soon as the vendor made the right product available. Although he was VERY busy, our building coordinator made time for us as best he could. We never felt neglected. When building this many homes, there are certain to be minor workmanship issues, but we have 12 months to work those out!! Happy with Highland!
