I will leave it very short and simple. If Highland really cares, they will reach out to me for details. It is a VERY GOOD thing they had a pandemic to blame for each and every failure that came to pass on this build. In my opinion, it is only about making money for them with no care to the buyer and it is built into the contract to ensure that. If you chose to buy from Highland, invest in personal lubricant stock first.

Bought a spec in the drywall stage. ’ll admit, everything wasn’t done perfectly. There were several things that were issues and we felt like we weren’t getting a return on our investment for the quality of work being performed. I’ll also admit, that Highland Homes did everything in their power to fix every issue we have had. And some of these things were big things. They didn’t hesitate to make it right, and continue to strive to make it right until we are satisfied. The overall experience was a good one. My realtor was great, but Highland sales office in Devonshire was just okay. I did not feel the welcome and willing to help from them. The project manager was great .

I went into contract on this home while living in another state, sight unseen. The sales partner, Edna, was phenomenal. Incredibly responsive and accommodating. As was the construction manager, Lonnie. I did my walk-thrus via FaceTime, but felt completely at ease because he was extremely informative/descriptive to help me 'feel' the space. When finally arriving at the house and doing the physical, in person, walk-thru, the experience was the same. There were a couple of very minor things that needed to be addressed and they were done promptly and without issue. In the crazy housing market we are in, in Texas, this transaction went like a dream. No construction delays. No hidden costs/price increases. House was to be completed in September 21, it was “finished” in January 22 to Highlands standards at which time they gave us the option of moving in or forfeiting the money we had put down and paid for upgrades and losing the property. So many things were still not done correctly but we moved in with the promise they would be fixed timely and to our satisfaction. Five months later, they haven’t fixed more than half the issues and haven’t responded to our communication attempts. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

Highland is the best !

Beautiful home but there are so many issues to content with. Sadly, workmanship is mediocre at best. Appears workman are in such a hurry to get done that the quality is lacking. Would I buy another Highland home ? Maybe would be my answer. Slowly the issues are being addressed.

So far, we researched many builder, but we did not get the service we got from highland homes. Highland homes are one of the best builder, they are worth giving a visit. Like promised they closed my home in time and the loans dept gave us a better rate aswell. All the appliances in the home are latest and the technology for the home is wonderful. Enough space for every room and sideyard and backyards are very spacious. Choose any home with highland and you’ll be happy. Kathy and Donna helped us thru this tough market. Thanks to them.

The project manager was Ashton. He was kind and professional and very knowledgeable. The house is beautiful and everything we wanted.

Edna is fantastic. She is so quick to respond and so very friendly, polite and personable. Rhonda and Kim were also fantastic. I constantly received updates, including progress photos. They were all so very helpful. Josh, The construction manager, provided weekly updates and was always very responsive to any questions or concerns. I just can’t say enough great things about everyone I dealt with at Highland Homes during my build and home purchase. Highly, highly recommend Highland Homes and the team at Pecan Square.

While we understand supply chain issues, we were pretty disappointed when we moved in. The builder did respond to the issues, but some? They kept coming back. Even now, we've kind of "given up" and we'll deal with things on our own. The builder over promised, and under delivered. We were told we would be "wowed" when we moved in, and we were, but for the wrong reasons, more like "wow, another thing is wrong." Don't get us wrong, we are happy with our house, we love it. The issues just took the wind out of our sails.

Everything about this home was great. Highland homes still remains my favorite as their building and structure tastes are equal to none. Very beautiful homes they have got

Everything went well & on time. Very professional in the process. A few things to be corrected but in general no problems at all. Will recommend Highland to my friends &family.

This is the second home qe have moved into and by far the worst experience the project manager and the sales person qere very responsive but the the work of the contractor is very poor. To this day they have not finished fro. Touch ups to the mistakes they made. At this point ill fix it myself. Just bad

Very helpful and knowledgeable of what they do

I came to Highland Homes after I heard great reviews and rave about them. My buying experience was good. Very transparent and prompt team. My experience with quality of material is horrible. I literally have issues with everything. From tiles to flooring. Paint to cabinet quality. Cleaning was off when we entered. From day 1 onwards I am chasing someone to fix issues and its more than 2 months now and issues still exist. Its my weekly task to log complaints and coordinate with multiple people to fix issues. Very bad experience on my first home.
