Overall a great experience and would highly recommend!

Highland homes are well built with good floor plans. We are in a new portion of the development and there are 3 developers who build here. We are living in a garbage dump!! The builders make no effort to clean up and theirs trash is everywhere. We are constantly picking up trash out of our yard, some is construction debris and even paper plates and cups from the workers lunches!

Owning my own house has always been my greatest dream and it finally came true two months ago when I moved into my new Highland house. The quality is great for the budget I invested in. And my contact Mr.Clayton Coffee has been very professional and responsive when I did encountered a few issues. Great house and I am very glad I made the right choice on Highland Homes.

Sia was great to work with and very trustworthy. Abel responses to issues quickly and is very respectful.

We've had several things thast aren't pleasing but our PM has been right on top of them. Getting subs here to correct has and is an issue. Your cleaning crew, in my opinion, does not do a great job. We've been battling a floor issue here since the walk thru and still waiting. Getting closer but still not complete. Very frustrating at best. Your electrical company too can be frustrating. Takes them too long to respond if they respond at all. WHen one pays for this level of home, there are certain expectations. You all need to hone in on your subs and contractors doing it right the very first time. Am I disappointed in some areas? Absolutely!! Quality of workmanship is not all that great.

The Highland sales team was very attentive. We never 2nd guessed our choice to hire them or to purchase their product. The building process was 90% smooth, and where we ran into a slowdown, it was resolved as soon as the vendor made the right product available. Although he was VERY busy, our building coordinator made time for us as best he could. We never felt neglected. When building this many homes, there are certain to be minor workmanship issues, but we have 12 months to work those out!! Happy with Highland!

It was great to work with great, caring people at Highland Homes. We will buy again in the future from Highland Homes here in Texas!

Great experience , very professional , quality of house is great

We bought our Highland home at a crazy time and knew we overpaid for our home. After move in, we began to notice “the little things” that we had not seen with other builders in our modest price range. When we began to receive utility bills we took note of the efficiency of our systems. I could go on and on but our experience with Rayshell our sales person and Jordan our coordinator made this an easy transition in not so easy time. We were told our home would be ready in September and we moved in July 18. Thanks to all who made our downsizing and transition enjoyable.

This is my 3rd house to build and I can say it has been the best build of all. Scott was great in all aspects of the process. Highly satisfied with him and Highland.

As a first time home homeowner. Highland made the process seem less and everyone on the team truly cares. The community is great and the team is very responsive to all issues i have had. So far my only complain will be the floor plan design. I think it could be more user friendly. The home is beautiful and very modern but lacks and office space and small things like under the sink trash cabinets

Their company culture is centered around trust, and each employee has an equal opportunity to have a stake of ownership in the company, which drives their shared and vested interest in ensuring each customer is happy with their new home. Highland, like any builder, has its own challenges managing sub contractors that are inevitably the ones actually building your home, but Highland’s warranty, commitment to excellence, and absolute focus on building a trusting relationship with you as a homeowner absolutely overcomes the smallest issues as well as the minor near unnoticeable defects that anyone finds in their new home. From start to finish, they’ve been excellent. Even our realtor was like “I don’t ever feel like I earn my commission whenever I work with Highland, they make the entire process so easy, it’s undeniable they’re the best in the biz to work with!” Someday, I hope Highland opts in to build individualized homes on parcels of land individually purchased. Highland Homes took really care about my home and go to extra mile to make us satisfied with new home. For instance, they provided epoxy coating for my garage even cracks were naturally built. It was great experience.

Bought a spec in the drywall stage. ’ll admit, everything wasn’t done perfectly. There were several things that were issues and we felt like we weren’t getting a return on our investment for the quality of work being performed. I’ll also admit, that Highland Homes did everything in their power to fix every issue we have had. And some of these things were big things. They didn’t hesitate to make it right, and continue to strive to make it right until we are satisfied. I went into contract on this home while living in another state, sight unseen. The sales partner, Edna, was phenomenal. Incredibly responsive and accommodating. As was the construction manager, Lonnie. I did my walk-thrus via FaceTime, but felt completely at ease because he was extremely informative/descriptive to help me 'feel' the space. When finally arriving at the house and doing the physical, in person, walk-thru, the experience was the same. There were a couple of very minor things that needed to be addressed and they were done promptly and without issue. In the crazy housing market we are in, in Texas, this transaction went like a dream. No construction delays. No hidden costs/price increases.
