Finish details inside and outside could be better. There noise on the vents, the door chime was broken inside the mechanism and fixed with a piece of card board. The doors don’t seal well. Little details on the painting on some doors. I know there is more. But don’t have it on top of my head.

Our experience with highland homes was for the most part a pleasant one. From start to finish the communication, customer service, and punctuation of our build timeline was exceptional. Tracy and James together made our experience pretty painless and exciting. Looking forward to making our house a home now. Thank you!

HH offers one if not the best architectural and engineering residential designs in the metropolis, and probably nationwide. The high and vaulted ceilings, room partitioning, are optimized to provide homeowners the most needed space and comfort. I will HIGHLAND recommend to homebuyers!

Everything is good. The only problem is during COVID, the service request has to wait for an unknown time.

Our home was a builder home which came with a number of upgrades. Overall we love it. There are a couple of things that need to be addressed ( no show stoppers), With the pandemic and all the response has been a little less than desirable.

I have had a number of issued with my Highland home and do many issues have not been addressed even sfter submitting warranty tockets over 1 month ago. I have continued to submit tickets without committed dates of resolution. Considering the expense of the home we expected a higher quality buildout. The frustration is.magnified with the lack of response seen to date.

Some of the products seem very cheap and or not done with care. For example door knobs, faucet, paint, driveway cement. Otherwise excellent.

The home buying process with Highland was overall a great process. Todd was very professional, knowledgable and responsive. He believed in the quality of Highland’s homes, and it showed. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with. Ian and Ashley were phenomenal. They are both very detailed oriented and are always on top of things. We are still amazed at how they handle so many houses without having anything fall through the cracks. The experience going through the builder’s lender was not good and needs to be improved. The design center process was not bad. There were times where the response times were slow, but we were pleased with the choices offered by Highland. Home was clean when I moved in and ready for me to take over. The service from our PM was great however after we moved in several items came to light that needed attention. Our PM had the small items corrected in no time but the items left on the list have not been corrected such as our dishwasher issue with the hot water needed to clean the dishes etc. Hot water takes too long to get to the master shower and dishwasher so we have a lot of wasted water etc. You cannot foresee these underling issues before you close. After my investigation on this issue all of the highland homes have this issue in Liberty addition. I have called Rheem and explained the issue and found out that highland should have installed a recirculation pump to resolve this issue. My PM spoke with him boss and told him Highland has had this issue for the last ten years etc. S you can see where this is headed! ... More

Really enjoyed the process and responsiveness of the sales team and builder. The Lot is great and the floor plan is great. I was glad that the architect was able to change our plan to accommodate our needs. Thanks for another good purchase!

Great value but sacrificed quality in workmanship. After moving in there were little things that went wrong. Refrigerator was damaged upon delivery and still has an issue after being replaced. Pillars in the patio area holding up the roof has a gap which is perfect for insects/termites/pests to enter the home/attic. Garage cable that retracts when the opening the garage snapped. Countertop in master bath where it is caulked between the wall and countertop is cracking/peeling. Needs to be recaulked.

First time building a home and could not be more pleased. The staff at the model home were using to talk to and answered any questions or concerns we had.

This was an excellent experience from beginning to end, highland Went above and beyond in every effort, even when things got dicey at the end, I can’t see myself buying from or building with a different builder again
