From the first time we stooped to look at the model through the finalizing of our mortgage approval, Highland Homes was extremely easy to work with and highly responsive to our needs. Towards the end of the process, we needed to move our closing date up and they bent over backward to make it happen for us. We've been in our home for almost 3 months and so far it is fantastic. No major issues. The few minor things that have come up the builder has been highly responsive to and worked quickly to make it right.

Our construction manager, Ben, provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. This includes guidance on a number of upgrades that we considered, as well as, immediate repair and replacement of the very few items that were not quite right. Ben's expertise and good attitude throughout the process was greatly appreciated.

The house is beautiful, and our builder Ben has been very responsive about taking care of some little things that need to be fixed. Overall, the workmanship is good, and my husband and I are very pleased.

Quick construction causes a few lapses in attention to detail but overall very well-built and much nicer than what competitors offer. Upgrades are pricy but the whole process was made easy by our construction manager and sales team. Will likely use highland again in the future.

The whole process of buying and building a new home can be extremely stressful. Highland made it as effortless as possible and have a good process in place to make it simple. The people from the sales team to the designers to the build team were all top notch. Once you commit to Highland they want to do everything they can to get you into the home of your dreams.

Highland Homes built the home we wanted at a price we could afford. Their builder Jesse was incredibly detailed and helpful. They were willing to modify more than other builders I've worked with in the past, and helped me make the home my own. I noticed a few minor things that needed changing after my closing date and Highland Homes didn't hesitate to make it right and quickly. I trusted the team I worked with and hope to build with them again someday.

Timing was great. There were several small items that were not complete at closing that we are still waiting on: peep hole, paint touch up, etc. While we appreciate the design center not up selling, there are a few things we would have gladly added: too coat of paint to the walls. We are quite disappointed in the quality of the paint/ texture. It is impossible to clean without scratching the paint or chipping the texture. We have never experienced this and feel it is a big miss from the designers. We would also have put a top coat on our floors if we had known the option was there. From loan application to actual purchase has been the best home buying experience I've ever had. Quality construction, finish work, and efficiency. Customer service outstanding and very responsive. The few minor issues I had after move in were quickly resolved. I will enjoy my new Highland home for many years and it was a worthwhile investment.

From the start with Layne it was a wonderful experience. There was an incredible amount of attention and detail that went in to our personal desires and needs. Jason was the builder and went above and beyond to see that every detail was precise and listened to everything that was important to us. We would build with Highland again in a heartbeat.

We Love our new Highland Home. From the sales to the Contractor to the warranty we have had the best experience. Everyone is so nice and easy to work with. They even put up with how picky we are. Our home turned out Beautiful and we love that it is a one story but looks like a two story. Could not have asked for a smoother transaction!

I rated the quality of workmanship as 4 of 5 stars because no home is PERFECT when one moves in. There were small things we found after living in the house for a few weeks, but that has been our experience with six other homes over the years. Having said that, the value of the home is fine and meets today's standards. The trustworthiness in building the home and the responsiveness to the issues discovered are excellent. The foreman who built the home is incredibly responsive to any issue discovered and is wonderful to work with.
