Overall the buying experience was great! Customer service from the sales office and building manager was great . I just subjects to Highland is that you pour your driveway last. As I ride around the neighborhood you can notice the difference between Highland and Perry homes . Perry home has clean finished driveways and Highlands driveways are different colors and patched. Perry pours their driveways after the home is built and I think that what makes a difference.

Highland Homes has always been my favorite builder and I knew that if I ever bought a new home, it would be a Highland Home. The best part of my experience was dealing with the incredible staff in The Groves (Walter, Haley, Ron & Gwen). Each of these individuals ensured my needs were met and they went out of their way to make adjustments to the home to suit my needs. I bought the house in the final phases of construction, so I didn't have input as the house was being built. My sales agent was knowledgeable about the homes and features and helped me find what I wanted instead of pushing me into a more expensive home. My construction manager walked the home every day during the construction process and held the contractors accountable for mistakes. I walked the home often and when I saw corrections that needed to be made, he made sure they were taken care of. Highland earned my trust and made sure my home was built well. We love our floor plan and the high ceilings and quality of workmanship that Highland offers. We loved our sales person and project manager who were with us the whole time our house was being built . They were very responsive in fixing the few issues we had after closing.

We absolutely love our home and thoughtfulness on how it was built. The building materials used are of high quality. Our only concern is the quality of the bathroom cabinets is not what we would have expected for this price point. First time building a home and glad we did it with Highland. Jeff and Judy were easy to work with in the office and Bryan was and continues to be responsive with our home. The materials were excellent so far and workmanship was good, any issues I had were quickly addressed. Nothing is ever perfect and they will fix anything which is not up to standard. Highland Homes provided great service during and after the sale. The usual issues that arise in a new home build were addressed promptly. Mostly the quality of people we worked with we’re just excellent. Would certainly recommend to a friend.

Very Honest people to work with

Finish work--paint, drywall and tile--could have been much better. There are multiple corners of walls/bottom trim that are not square and/or even. Highland Homes is correcting all of the issues however, would have rather had the finish work completed properly the first time. I am most pleased with the windows and doors installation. The wooden floors which we chose (which covers most of the downstairs) was installed properly and looks great. And I feel that Highland Homes does an excellent job with installation and design of the Trane Heating and Air Conditioning system--very efficient and very well balanced. Follow up from contractors/sub contractors has been prompt and professional. Our Highland Homes Construction Manager was attentive to our requests and kept us engaged and informed. Builder warranty is great. They address any issues you have in timely manner. I would recommend the builder to my family and friends. Pleased with the work ethic and dedication of the entire team (sales rep and project manager).

Highland Homes made the home buying process very easy. Everyone from the builder to the loan officer were always available to answer questions. They made the process non stressful and go smoothly.

I would like to compliment Chris our CM for an amazing job and personality. He made us feel very Comfortable. He did an outstanding job in a timely manner and I’m grateful that he built our house. His bedside manner was incredible. In the end Highland is lucky to have Chris as an employee.

The home buying process was great. This is my first new home in 20 years. We heard stories from others about difficulties with their new homes and the buying process. We were very happy with the sales and construction process for our new home at Aliana. The sales and project teams worked hand in hand to ensure all communications regarding the house were documented and verified. Their process for checks at various stages and during closing made us more confident on their project. The closing and post-close follow ups have been great too. Would highly recommend highland homes to my friends and family.
