Jason was great sales person and Jared was also great. Communication was great and upto our satisfaction. The only constructive feedback I would like to give them is that they should be consistent in offering upgrades to the neighbors for example there was an option to add a gate on the back fence which was missed for me where is there a couple of options that were missed for my neighbors. If there is a script that they can follow or list of items that they can follow for upgrades or any other things that could be great. Also there should be a way to record the walk-through meeting when they explain everything because it is hard to remember in the excitement of looking at the home. Overall, I'd give the experience 4 stars out of 5. Highland makes nice homes with good layouts that make you feel like you are in a bigger home, and don't pack the house with space you can't use. The houses have a lot of light and you can tell they are on a different level with quality. We were actually referred to Highland by some friends who lived in one in a different part of the state and loved it. The biggest disappointment was that when we moved in, there were several things on the house that weren't completed and should have been either verified or checked before we got there. We had to submit 7 warranty tickets within the first week of living in the home, for various issues ranging from the thermostat not going below 72 (due to a contractor lock on the thermostat), to the oven not being plugged in - general things which should have been addressed before we moved in. What I will say is that once we brought these things up/submitted warranty tickets, our Construction Manager helped out with getting repairs moving and everything was resolved in a very intrepid manner, and we haven't had any further issues out of the items we listed needing to be addressed. The people you work with are great and they are responsive to the warranty items, the only reason I can't give a perfect rating is because quite frankly the house wasn't ready when we moved in. When I had issues . The issue was taken care of quickly ! The people are really great at taken care of issues. That the guys doing work either over looked are just didn’t do ! Real quick response time and very polite . And helpful

Sales Rep and Builder were great to work with for the most part. There were some workmanship issues that remained unresolved at the time of closing, which was not satisfactory for us. Overall, we have a well built home.

Highland Homes made the home buying process very easy. Everyone from the builder to the loan officer were always available to answer questions. They made the process non stressful and go smoothly.

Elder is the man! Great salesman and even better person.

Overall, the home is beautiful. But considering what we paid for the home, the small details should not have been overlooked. Doorknobs are crooked, gaps in the caulking between the floor and baseboards, doorframes aren't level, causing several doors not to shut properly.

Still trying to get things resolved after living here for two months. Worry about issues, I’ve heard about since moving in . Painting was poor.

Ensure work is done thoroughly and you have looked at everything. The contractors tend to miss things here and there.

The quality with certain items around the house were not up to par. Who ever does quality control needs to be fired. I had a lot of things I pointed out during the build process that needed to be fixed. Blue taped it all during walk thru's with my construction manager. I was told they would be fixed. Some were but they were only the small quick fix items. My kitchen was never fixed. Drawers, cabinets are misaligned. Trim pieces were damaged and not replaced. Now after closing the cabinet company got called out to fix my issues. Now I have more issues as the workers did a horrible job and a incomplete job. After moving in had to have high land homes have a drywall guy come fix some drywall that I found the not have a straight seen at two walls. Again this all comes down to quality control and the guy that also does it , is terrible at their job. Also whoever passes the home for inspection is also terrible. I'm glad I hired a third party inspector. If I didn't hire one, my a/c duct work would not be properly secured and there would be finger jointed wood boards in the attic in spots that your not allowed to use finger jointed boards. Sales was great. Closing was great. The build process was a nightmare, horrible. Was told one thing and another thing happened. My experience in purchasing a home with HighLands homes has been exceptional with the Sales rep. at WoodForest however not so well since the workmanship and quality build has been very poor and am highly dissatisfied since the many sub contractors hired on lacked experience, quality build, workmanship, poor judgment. These contractors did not care about their job, they just came in to do the bare minimum and left to goto the next job. I monitored my home build daily. I would come on site over see the build, take pictures on the progress of the build and saw so many mistakes these contractors were doing, some of which these contractors should have been fired on the spot. ... Do not trust, don't sign documents until they finish the final walk through issues

Wish the builder Joseph would take care of the things in my home that was supposed to be fixed before I closed. My cabinets, floor and stairs has yet to be fixed. After I closed I was pretty much on my own. Sprinkler company also still hasn’t came out.

Unfortunately, we had to wait over a year for construction of our home to be completed due to no power to our subdivision. Highland helped accommodate us for the delay and there were benefits in checking construction status each week in- person. Without the delay in construction we would have given 5 star rating. We are very happy with our new home.

Expect a good experience with Highland Homes. Our sales person, Tony, was super helpful explaining everything about buying our home. The design center personnel were easy to work with and helped us make the best choices. We have been very pleased with our warranty experience so far. Jack and team have been very responsive to all our questions and had the various teams complete the warranty work very quickly and thoroughly. We’re pleased with our decision to purchase a Highland Homes.

Highland is very responsible and trustworthy builder, They take care the home owners very well I am very happy with my home

Going into our first home purchasing experience, Nick our builder really made us feel welcomed and well informed. He really went over every single detail of the home with us and addressed any concerns we had. Leading up to and after purchasing our home he's been very responsive on any concerns and definitely had everything taken care right away for us. I'd definitely reccomend Nick and Highland to any of my friends and family because of the great experience we had.

I LOVE Highland Homes builders. And I definitely LOVE Highland- Bridgeland Central Townhomes. They’re so elegant

Quality of build is great. Materials do not feel cheap like other builders.

...we moved in two months ago and still have zero options for cable/internet. It’s 2019, the internet is not optional! Should have been ready to go before closing! Otherwise great house and great experience.
