Good location Good sales person Did not have what told in certain issues

I had a pleasant experience purchasing the home with Virginia, she was very understanding when it came to different parts of the deal that we considered important as buyers My experience with William as a construction manager has also been pleasant, he is accommodating when it comes to ad-hoc requests The overall quality of the materials and workmanship in the home exceeds my expectations

We have been very satisfied with our first experience purchasing a Highland home. The staff is great to work with and very responsive. Never felt left out of the loop during construction. The portal is easy to use anytime we have a question or a request.

BENNETT’s and Jack provided an excellent home-building experience from start to finish. The team was professional, responsive, and transparent throughout the entire process. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, and communication was always clear and timely. I am very satisfied with my new home and would highly recommend BENNETT’s and Jack to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy builder.

We had a few hiccups early on in the construction process. But, once Eric got involved everything worked smoothly. Eric is EXTREMELY good at his job and was very responsive to any and all my concerns!

Communication and follow thru was missing at times. It felt like we didn't know where things were such as sprinkler system to shut down the water consumption. We've been in our new home for six weeks and some (not all) repairs are finally being taken care of. We still have an issue with the kitchen cabinet drawer broken. Design of home is nice, functionality is less than desirable. For example the kitchen does not have enough counter space or cabinets. Very tight between island and stove area.

We have been very pleased with David, our point of contact throughout the construction of our home. He was proactive and quick to address any issues or concerns we had along the way. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our new home. Also, we dealt with Manny prior to construction and he was a pleasure to work with.

Low quality materials and not clear plan picture manager doesn't know details about plan hights and all, felt very bad experience after spending 500k, nobody comes for proper service after moving and payment completed

The house is very nice. Every person I’ve worked with was a wonderful. I feel like there was some things that were too rushed through and was some visible. When I asked for something to be done, though, everyone listened and explained the situation and took care of what I needed.

I bought a Highland home because of their wonderful reputation however, I was disappointed in the quality of work and the oversight. While I love the home itself there were many issues during construction and after. The finishes of the house are poorly done and it feels like cheap labor was used just to complete the job. Ultimately, while some aspects fell short, others exceeded our expectations, leading to a completed home we’re proud of. The sales phase was unfortunately the most disappointing part of our experience, primarily due to our interactions with Kelly. She was consistently non-responsive to emails, often taking days or weeks to reply, if at all. Verbally, her information was inaccurate, and she frequently contradicted her own statements in follow-up emails regarding the sales process. This lack of consistency eroded any confidence we had in her guidance, making the initial steps feel chaotic and unreliable. In contrast, the contracting and construction phases were handled exceptionally well by Jonathan, who restored our faith in the process. He was highly responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls, addressing every concern promptly and thoroughly. Jonathan invested significant time sitting down with us to ensure all specific details were accurately captured and implemented. His respectful and understanding approach in every customer service interaction made him the standout highlight of our Highland Homes experience, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to others. Financing and closing were smooth and efficient, thanks to Nancy’s outstanding support. She excelled in communication, providing timely and clear updates throughout. Her accuracy with data and documentation gave us peace of mind during these critical final stages. Everyone we have worked with at Highland Homes has been incredible!! We purchased at Cross Creek West and originally met with Virginia at Jordan Ranch and she was absolutely incredible! We needed to buy a quick move in, so we ended up finding the right one in cross creek west with Manny! He was fantastic as well! I would highly recommend either of these sales professionals!!! We purchased an inventory home from Highland that was about 95% complete when we went under contract. With a 30-day closing, there wasn’t much time between completion and move-in. We only met with the builder once prior to the final walk-through, which took place just a few hours before closing. During that walk, I identified several issues that needed correction before closing. Unfortunately, after closing, most of those items still hadn’t been completed. I had to take additional time off work on multiple occasions to have those items addressed. That said, the overall **quality of the home itself is excellent**, and I would still **highly recommend Highland for their craftsmanship and product quality**. However, the **builder and sales team’s communication and follow-up could definitely be improved**. We also had a disappointing experience with our sales representative. After our loan approval, we never heard from her again—no updates, no congratulations, not even a message on closing day. She wasn’t available to hand us our keys, so we had to pick them up from someone we’d never met at the model home. We’ve even seen her since, showing nearby homes, but she still hasn’t acknowledged us. It was an incredible experience. From the beginning I knew I wanted a highland home. It had everything I was looking for. The structure and finesse spoke volume. The manager Mike was amazing, the construction manager Ray ensured I was well informed. Loved the team and I plan to own more Highland homes in the nearest future. Thank you

My wife & I have been in our home for a little over 2 months now and still marvel at how beautiful it is! Highland, and David B. with Highland, have been great throughout the process. From planning, build, closing, and follow-up, he's been our ally throughout the process doing whatever it takes to ensure everything goes smoothly. The communication, pictures, etc. were all very much appreciated, especially with us living 5 hours away during the construction process.

The entire process was good, and I was fairly compensated for the six months delay. The house was exactly as I expected it to be. I am happy with the price I paid; it was a good value. City to the Suburbs When we first started looking for a new home we weren’t expecting to fall for our Highland Home the way we did. We honestly were just entertaining the idea of moving from the city to the suburbs but the home was so amazing. Jason was great from our first model home tour to being so flexible with our schedule and understanding of what we were looking for as a family.
