The construction manager was fantastic and quickly addressed questions or concerns. I appreciated WestBay’s videos relating to the home buying process and home maintenance. Warranty issues are quickly addressed. The process went smoothly, absolutely love my new home, and am looking forward to watching this new community flourish.

Great builder, not so good vendors that are contracted

Love the house, the floor plan and the entire experience. With the exception of custom cabinets. We moved in 9/1 and still have no handles, and some other shelving. I mean, we literally have them because someone dropped them off at 6;00 in the morning… but nobody came to install them after two months of being in the house.

Everything else about the house was excellent. Shane couldn't have been more helpful. Todd, the warranty person, needs to be more positive. All he talked about was what West Bay does not cover. The cabinets were never installed correctly or even finished being installed. Timberlake's customer service is terrible. They state that the half installed cabinets must go under warranty and that they don't have any warranty openings until August. We moved in to unfinished cabinets in March and they can not come out to fix anything until 5 months later. That is ridiculous! West Bay needs to ...

After all the delays and frustration we are very happy with our home. I know building a home from scratch would not be easy and there would be issues but I can’t believe some of the stuff we had to deal with. I’m hearing this with every builder in the area but it was disappointing at times to hear the excuses given why we were experiencing the problems. Our construction manager Shane was very responsive to our issues and I know at times he couldn’t help the problem and we appreciate everything he did for us. Overall we are very happy with the way the house turned out.

Customer service is great when you walk in the door. As soon as your deposit is put down, quite a downward shift. The responsiveness becomes less and less, if you’re not there to check on your home it will sit while other homes get worked on that went up after yours and they do not respect your input on YOUR house that they are building. They allow the job sites to be polluted with trash from the workers. I will not sit here and say that my house is not absolutely beautiful but be aware that, not only will you have several things on your punch list but will also find several things wrong with ...

We were so excited to be able to build this home. We waited for at least a year for the lots to be released so we can make our selections. We were so happy to see there are many standardized options that would have been custom upgrades with any other builder. So when we signed the contract we were confident and impressed by the value we were getting. Then the pandemic hit! 4th House built but never had to babysit a builder more

WestBay would like you to only see your home via 8 formal meetings, however you need to see your house many more times to catch items and save the time/money for corrections. They missed some major components to our house and our private checks caught them, not their QA process. Plumbers didn't glue all their connections causing a major build back process for a flood that destroyed our flooring, and baseboards in January. We still don't have floors restored and we're hitting March. Every builder has supply chain issues, but this was ridiculous with houses getting built faster than ours ...

We have built new homes with other builders, and our experience with WestBay was the worst. They are far from a luxury builder. The building process was awful. Several items were missed and our construction manager would argue with us that it was right. We had to show him our design plans multiple times to "prove" to him that he was wrong. Not one of our requests were ever acknowledged. We would have to point out craftsmanship issues because our construction manager never looked for them.
