we discovered the reunion area only last june and started the home building process then. it was completed a month early and we made the move from michigan. we are delighted with the design features and latest innovations. highest marks in all regards!

Very pleased to have moved in to our new home. The build quality is excellent and the Team was very responsive to any concerns or questions during the build. The house was completed as scheduled and very glad to say we did not see any warranty related issues thus far.

There is genuine care for customer satisfaction, and a high quality offering for purchase and service follow that.

The build quality and workmanship are poor. The follow up on punch items is horrible.

Build took 19 months instead of the 12 promised. No exceptions considered for customers who had to move to interim housing as a result. Closing delayed due to incredibly inferior workmanship. Incentive $ pulled out of deal the night before closing. Roof section is still missing both shingles and felt. On site foreman and customer care MBR overwhelmed with complaints, follow-up action is unacceptably slow.

Although I love my home and enjoy the space, location, layout and environment fully, I'm disappointed at the responsiveness from Pulte. Several promises were made that issues identified during inspection would be fixed just after closing and nothing has been addressed despite many requests. Selling the homes is clearly the priority but standing by promises takes a back seat. If these things could be addressed in a timely way, I would have given my experience 5 stars.

During our build time, it was amazing how spot-on the communications were between Pulte, our builder (Travis Horne), and ourselves. There were no questions unanswered and no issues left unresolved. No new house can ever be built perfectly, but this one was 99% perfect during our walk-thru LESS THAN 5 MONTHS from the contract signing! After carefully noting (emphasis on careful--as in meticulous) all problem areas with paint and drywall finishes, EVERYTHING was taken care of and we walked into a brand-new & near-perfect home for such a great price. We have even had contact with our builder up until now and he still checks on us to make sure we are happy. 5 STARS!!! ... More

I am giving the stars mainly because of Brent. He was the person that handled not only all of our problems but neighbors problems. The painters were horrible. The cleaners were horrible. Landscaping needs attention. It is obvious corners were cut. I have a million dollars in this townhouse and it is immaculate because I spent the extra money to make sure it was. I would have walked away from this deal if it weren't for Brent and Tom. And my neighbors feel the same. You missed the mark on upselling on a lot of things on the inside as well. Outstanding floorplans and employees! Workmanship is above average for such a large quantity builder. As always there are some quality issues, but they handle them quickly without a question.

If you want a 5-star headache, buy a home from these guys. Otherwise, just walk away. Although we are very happy in our new home, getting to this point was a nightmare. We had the worst project manager ever, a guy who was unhappy in his job and basically took out his frustrations on us and our home. Nothing was done right and the workmanship of what was done can only be described as amateurish. I won't describe the comedy of errors this construction site was, but took weeks to get things right. Everything you want costs money. They charge about double what you would pay for things like ceiling fans, so if you can install them yourself, do it yourself and save money. We bought the house before it even had drywall, yet we could not change what tile went in the bathrooms. Preposterous. As you deal with Pulte, you will find that the customer does not come first. They make loads of promises, but do not deliver. Whatever you do, don't make plans around your alleged closing date. They missed four closing dates for us, and missed the closing dates on the other three houses around us as well. I don't know how much that cost them, but it's amazing that Pulte, who owns John Wieland, can throw away money like that and not hold anyone accountable. After you close, their responsiveness to issues is tortoise-slow. It took two weeks for them to figure out who is in charge of our house, now that the previously-mentioned project manager left the company. Once again, many things have been promised, but nothing has been delivered. E-mails to corporate higher-ups have gone unanswered, so we can only assume that the do-nothing corporate culture at Pulte/Wieland goes all the way to the top. John Wieland sold out to Pulte years ago, and when he did, so went his name and reputation. I would probably sell out for $400 million plus too, but don't expect a John Wieland experience when you buy a Pulte home. ... More

Overall a good experience in working with sales team. Home is well built and well architected.

Do not trust when the they say they will take care of things after inspection and before closing. Way too many small stuff that keeps coming out and it is difficult to get confirmation on when things are going to be completed.

I am satisfied with my new home. I look forward to many good years in my JW home.

We purchased an existing, finished townhouse in the Foundry and couldn't have enjoyed a better experience. The entire process was a joy and the team at Weiland answered all of our questions and were extremely helpful. Sherri, Meagan, and Chad were always available to help us and made the process very easy for us. Brent on the construction side went above and beyond consistently and was always available and attentive. I'm a customer home builder and I bought a Weiland home so that should speak volumes. I highly recommend trusting Weiland to build your home.

Brent has been a great representative of John Wieland Homes. During the completion process he listened attentively to our views, and answered questions thoroughly and honestly. After closing, he ensured that the few workmanship issues that were discovered were addressed quickly and correctly. We would recommend John Wieland Homes to a friend largely due to Brent's tireless efforts.

Overall quality of the construction and finish of the home was top of the line.

Home has a lot of new features and very good efficiency rating. Drywall finish and paint was not up to par with the rest of the home features.

Original projected date of completion was Nov 2018; we didn't close until April 2019 so ended up extending our stay in an apartment far longer than expected. Project was mismanaged for the first 6 months, then a rush job thereafter. Even after closing the first month and a half was dedicated to dealing with poor workmanship. Our master shower leaked into the kitchen below the morning after closing. After two weeks of walking through my daughter's bedroom at 5AM for two weeks to take a shower before work, we contacted the some VPs in the warranty group and finally got some progress. Air conditioners were wired incorrectly and did not work, took multiple trips out to correct. The workers in an adjacent lot drove over our Comcast cable tap, which took Comcast about 3 trips out the to house to figure out. Overall this was a disappointing experience. ... More

Our builder made the biggest difference in our process. Brent was amazing!

I like the location I bought in, I like the design(minor things I would change) of the home. The representatives from Pulte were professional but I felt that they were overwhelmed with scope of the project. I had several punch list items. They were not addressed until I made several calls to upper management. Bottom line, I believe that there are not enough line workers to handle the day to day operation.
