First time home buyer here. Staff were very friendly and very helpful with every step along the way, process made easy.

I think there is a lot of integrity in this company. I don't feel like anyone is trying to get away with the absolute minimum, or trick me. They have been really receptive about all of my concerns and really just want me to be happy and comfortable in my new home. I adore Tamara, Jose, Eduardo, and Lloyd. All of them have been totally wonderful and accommodating. My only real concern has been the sloppy handy-work throughout the house. There are a lot of small things that were done sloppily. However, they have been more than willing to come and fix everything I'm not satisfied with. It looks like the crew was in a rush, which sounds like the case considering how quickly they've been selling/building these houses. I think it would benefit the company to slow down on the builds so that they don't have to come back and fix the numerous mistakes later. I do also wish they varied the home designs a little more. From the beginning when inquiring about the homes to the loan process and then the signing the staff was there for me every step of the way. Every time I had a question or concern the staff a KHovnanian were there to help put my mind at ease. Would highly recommend.

Overall, I had a great experience with K. Hovnanian. The representative I worked with was great and responsive. After moving in, we had a few minor items that still need to be fixed under our warranty, but overall my family and I are satisfied with the result of our home.

The experience was great, but some things have been taking a while to get done. Which with covid19 it is understandable in some ways. Overall, the house is great and the process was great as well, it is a very nice home and no had/has no major issues. Would recommend to family/relative/friends/coworkers and anyone else.

Flooring is cheap and no more than one month moved in parts of flooring has had to be replaced. The app for the automatic door knob lock/unlock does not work properly. If upgrading from the very basic options you will not have much to choose from as far as flooring, countertops and cabinets. Upgrades will add to your loan very quickly.

Brian is awesome so is Justin in the models New crew the new guy in charge of repairs and walk threw is awesome Lisa is awesome We had a ruff start but it’s much better now the crew is awesome and repairs are all being well addressed everyone is on point they have gone threw transfer of new employees but you are on point now great job to everyone thank you all

Our experience with the Sales Rep Brian and the Mortgage Account Manager Shannon was awesome! They worked hard to make sure everything and made every effort to ensure our lending process ran smoothly. As for the quality of work on the home, it appears that the home was built in a rush to complete the closing process. There were misaligned doors, paint issues, flooring issues and even cabinet issues. I was disappointed with some of the sloppiness we saw after we started moving in. Then to get the contractors in to fix the issues is ridiculous. I would have rather waited a little longer so they could get the job done better than to have to deal with the headache of waiting for things to be fixed after the fact. ... More

I just purchased my home and the experience was great. I love my new home. The staff were friendly and informative along the whole process. I am happy with my purchase. The price was good based on the market. I feel like this purchase was a great investment and I look forward to living in my home.

The process went well, despite the situation of covid delaying things. We had a good experience, but felt our issues during walkthroughs wasn't taken very seriously.

Excellent with the whole process

Good: - On-time delivery - Good visibility into the construction process Bad: - Sub-par quality of the materials, like cupboards etc. - Basic items, such as garage opener are not included by default and are extra - No appliances at all; compare that to Lennar who are giving most (and in some communities all) - No GUTTERS for the house???? Saw it first time for a house and never expected it would happen. Cutting the corners, including basics??? This is very negative and will leave a very bad impression about the builder - Cup board design is bad; can't reach some of these from the kitchen

Jobs are done half way and not complete

I had a bad experience, when we started the meetings for the home with the chief of construction and the home seller. During the meeting i asked them to reinforce the vents of the house and neglected to do it when they asked me what changes i would want. When they would ask me for more documentation it was for the same documents that i just submitted with the home seller. There was miss communication with the seller and mortgage loan officer.

Great people, OK product and bad workmanship.

It is a great neighborhood. I wish they would have better customer service after you purchase the home. I moved in and noticed so many problems that I have not been receiving any help with. before purchasing the home I was very excited and loved the customer service but I guess that was just to get me to purchase the home. Now nothing but rude comments and no action.

That is a basic home to buy for to much money. A lot of missing touch ups that need to be correct before letting the buyer move in

My experience is cabinet are falling off hinges almost had a serious accident in my house cabinet above fell off almost hit my husband on head. Very cheap material I have bought twenty houses never experienced this bad quality.

Our experience with K.Hov was okay. Nice staff. But lack responsiveness to issues In a timely manner.

The home buying process was smooth. It wasn’t until we gave the down payment when we realized we were no longer important. - When we moved in, the house was dirty. Twice I pulled out a piece of wire from my 1 year old daughter’s mouth while crawling upstairs where there is carpet. - It’s been about a month and we’re still trying to get the paint stains off the upgraded flooring we chose. - The cabinet work was sub par. The handles weren’t installed level or plumb and is noticeable. The trim on the cabinets wasn’t nailed down fully and there are gaps. - Two windows were installed scratched and we were told during our walk through they would be replaced and it still hasn’t happened. One of the window screens is missing and have not gotten it yet. - The upgraded oven we chose was damaged on install and I keep getting requests for pictures but nothing has been done. - The grading in the backyard was probably completely missed. There are 4 small valleys where water collects and will sit for days after it rains. Apparently when they install the concrete pads we ordered in the back yard, they covered up a drain. - When we submitted the issues for warranty repairs, the process has been slow and disorganized. It seems they are overworked and it clear why. Overall, not happy with our home and have even considered selling and going with a builder with better quality but having to go through the moving ordeal again is probably what’s stopping us. ... Unprofessionalism in the sales office. Read review on your webpage. Poor quality with interior fixtures, they put the cheapest products in this house!

Will tell you all sorts of lies just to get you to buy their house. Most options are not available because they never were in the first place. Will harass you after the home has been built, even if your not in an HOA. Workmanship is average if not poor in some cases. Will let certain people get special treatment and not work with others. If you have your own lender they will keep messing with them. We literally signed our closing papers at a coffee shop outside at 7:00 at night. Play off of first time home buyers and take advantage of minorities. Take forever to fix anything if at al. Will sell as soon as we can! ... More

Since I’ve moved In it’s been nothing but problems! These homes are built to last a week after moving. I’ve had to deal with the warranty department monthly! Don’t waste your money you will regret it just as much I do! The cheapest material are used from Cabintes to doors, counter tops I mean everything. What’s suppose to be a dream Come true quickly turns into a disappointment.
