Very please with our new home. If I had to nit-pick, they only thing we are not pleased with is the concrete work in the driveway and side walk.. There are cracks in the driveway concrete, stained areas of concrete on the sidewalks and broken areas of concrete on the sidewalk..

We've had a few minor issues with our new KHOV home and the warranty portal and vendors who have come to fix things have all been great.

We purchased the lot/house prior to construction so we were able to watch the house being built. We were impressed with the craftsmanship and the attention to detail that KHOV demonstrated. We closed on the property when they told us we would and they have been very responsive with any issues that we had ever since we moved in. Great experience so far !!

It’s sometimes a bit daunting to trust an organization that is vertically integrated. You want to explore options for mortgages, bring your own realtor, choose your own brokerage but, trust me when I say you can trust KHov. Their staff top to bottom were all professional and helpful. Their mortgage rates from what I could tell when I was exploring options were market competitive. And the closing process was smooth. Great team and great overall buying experience!

Caleh was amazing. Response time was quick and always cordial and friendly. Warranty has been quick to respond to our issues and have always been professional. However, most everything in between left alot to be desired. House c was not move in ready and never got that way. We had to take care of things ourselves.

Buying this home was so smooth. Not one hiccup from contract to settlement. KHov has been great to work with. The homes have a one year warranty and I have had zero issues with the warranty process/department.

Our entire experience with K. Hovanian has been a disappointment. We used K. Hovanian as our lender which was our first mistake. The incompetence of their lending department was breathtaking. It was hard hard to comprehend that this company could make so many errors and cause so much confusion. After we finally moved in, it turned out K. Hov installed a defective sump pump was lend to one inch of water in the crawlspace within 30 days of moving in. It took K. Hov three and one-half weeks to ensure all the water was gone, remove the mold and remediate the crawlspace. What a nightmare. Our present issue is that the sod laid is clearly substandard as evidenced by all the houses around us. I have requested that someone from K. Hov come and inspect our almost dead sod only to be told that it is not their responsibility to replace sod that is almost dead. We have been in the house three months, and are not looking forward to our next issue that probably will not be resolved. I would not recommend K. Hov to anyone. ... More

I purchased a K Hov home in 1999 in Tuxedo, NY. We loved it there and quality was great. We have been here almost 3 months. The mortgage experience was horrific then they declined us and threatened to keep my $40,000. This caused me severe stress and anxiety. We were approved by another company. I have a two page list of items that need attention but honestly the workmanship is so poor I am afraid to have them do the repairs. Cracked tile in master bath, shower leaks, all doors are rough and need painting same with all walls. Kitchen cabinets need touch ups, brick outside missing paint in areas, gutters dented, pillars need sanding and painting, entry to front door all bubbled needs sanding and painting, tiles need caulking, tech package was never installed and the electrician that came at a later date was sloppy and made a big mess. There is so much more on my two page list. Our sales person was transferred to another location in the middle of our purchase so that was very difficult. This company has their act together. From the sales department to the finished product. And that includes the warranty service. We really hit a home run with this purchase.

We are very pleased with our new Tacoma home and the location of the neighborhood. We are close enough to enjoy coastal Delaware restaurants and the beaches but quiet enough for busy in season days.

My experience from beginning to end has been very positive with Khov. After moving in discovered some things that needed more attention. Khov was quick to respond with solutions. In summary, I am pleasantly pleased with my new home.

The level of service provided by Grant, and Caroline can not be topped. I will say that Codi has replaced Caroline and he is incredible as well. We love the home, the finishes, appliances and decorative touches makes you feel like you are in the lap of luxury. The 2 primary bedroom suites are over the top. The kitchen appliances make you feel you are in a chefs kitchen. The island is a comfortable relaxing gathering spot for the family. Having the upstairs loft area gives you an additional gathering spot so you can gain that little separation without anyone feeling slighted. The location of the neighborhood with the Freeman stage, Harris Teeter, Foxes Pizza, CVS & McDonald's for that meal for the kids is ideal. We get in our golf cart and go to 38 Degrees for the view at lunch, we can't wait for the spring to get up there more often. ... More

Warranty repairs are done in a timely manner; however, sub contractors need to be replaced especially in the framing, sheet rock and painting areas and if management would review work prior to payment poor workmanship could be corrected.

We are in a new home. We have had the property for 4 months and are pleased with the construction and the neighborhood.

I've purchased a couple of new construction homes in the past. The KHov experience from Jonathan in the Sales office through the construction process with the CM, Rich, was flawless and stress-free. The quality of construction is second to none. Delivered on time and at a fantastic price. We were absentee buyers. Thank you for making our relocation so easy.

Warranty leader (Gary) is very responsive and flexible. We have just one outstanding request that I’m confident will be addressed quickly.

We purchased our home in September and the overall Purchase experience (sales & financing)was great. Unfortunately, we have had issues that we weren't expecting from a new build. The company itself and the people we have worked with have been good, but the workmanship and materials leaves a lot to be desired.

Incredible experience with Sean and very very happy with the new house and we are very excited moving in. again love the house Love the location and love the town.

Our overall experience with our new home has been great. The layout and design met most of our expectations, and we’re happy to finally be settled in. That said, there are a few areas where we feel things could have been better. The interior paint quality was below what we expected for a new home, and we ended up having the entire house repainted with a higher-grade product. Additionally, we wish we had been given more detailed information about our lot before purchase. It was marketed as a “Premium Lot,” but after construction, the grading of the land changed and the view turned out to be less appealing than we had anticipated. Overall, we love our new home but hope future buyers are provided with more transparency regarding lot grading and material quality. Also, in todays world with technology all house should be equipped with smart locks and not keys. We also would of like a more options for smart technology. ... More

My new home experience with K. Hovnanian has been positive for the most part. One notable item was the design process, I really loved the floor plans that were available and the Looks Interior choices, it made designing my home effortless. The location of Monarch Glen to the Georgetown-Lewes Trail, being tucked away from major roads, and close to beaches is what drew me here. The only downside is the mobile trailer park and some of the occupants on the other side of me. I wish I had known that there were issues over there as I would have selected a different lot. The overall workmanship and materials has been acceptable for the most part. After moving in I have noticed areas that could have been done better but what needed fixing inside the house has been addressed and fixed quickly. The sod is a different story. The yard has been dug up so much that it has destroyed my front yard. I was initially told that it would be replaced but that has not happened. I have since took matters into my own hands in an attempt to make the front look more appealing but there are still areas that need attention. Overall, I do love my home and the growing community is great! ... More

Khov wanted their customers to be happy and in my opinion, did everything to Ensure a smooth buying experience!!!

The overall buying process was very good. The sales staff and construction manager were excellent and very caring. The quality of construction is good, but lacks in certain areas such as the painting, woodwork and exterior siding and porches. I would recommend K Hovnanian, but you need to be diligent in following up on issues.
