The home and community design are excellent

What stood out for me at K Hov was the sales team and how helpful and responsive they were! My sales rep Elizabeth made the overall experience so enjoyable as she was never pushy and provided us with all the information and resources we needed to make our decision. She kept us informed the whole way through on the progress of our home and anything she needed from us along the way. All departments from Sales, Lending, to the Project Management team were extremely friendly and did what they said they would do throughout the process. Every single person that I had contact with from K.Hov went above and beyond. My overall experience was excellent. Dave H. Sales Manager at Autumn Ridge was so amazing he answered all of my questions, was incredibly responsive and just went above and beyond. Jamie and Michele my mortgage broker and loan processor walked me through the entire qualifying process. They were so helpful! Colin the builder was great to work with, he was so accommodating with adjustments needed. He was very responsive and even recommended a landscaper! Buying a home in Seabrook has largely been a great experience. The sales agent we dealt with from the beginning was great to work with and was always there for us and highly responsive. A definite '5' in everything! However, Covid and supply chain issues caused the home to be two months late. They could have handled that a little better. KHov then had some turnover and our home was part of a surge of homes being built as they finished the 120 home development. But we were patient with our home building process and fortunately they didn't rush completing our home. We are very happy in our new KHov home! ... More

Great workmanship , everything done right according to the plans. Just a few issues as expected with a new house but very happy overall.

The home is beautiful and we are so happy with everything The only problem after a month we are still waiting on missing screens that have been promised week after week.

Living 4 hours away while building was made so much easier when dealing with Josh in Sales and Dave, the construction manager. I received weekly photos and updates. I also appreciated Logan’s attention to concerns. The only issues have been with certain materials - example, the kitchen sink is cheap and very shallow (I do however like the Moen fawcetts.). The garage door is also cheaply made, it is very noisy, but it looks good. Basically, I give construction a very high rating, but not so much on basic materials. The sales agent was very helpful and responsive. She sent pictures during the construction so we could see progress. The builder did a good job of keeping to his timeline and fixed all items that we identified in the walk thru. The KHov mortgage company was very helpful too.

The entire process working with KHOV has been postitive.Elizabeth ,our sales rep has been most thorough from the start, working with my wife & I on selections,providing timely & reasonable dates for homeowner inspections,returning calls & texts as needed.The project manager for the site Casey, is also attentive with the building process & has a professional demeanor working with the homeowners.After our settlement,we have had some minor punch list items & the KHOV service center call in follow up with the local rep Cody to schedule the appropriate tradesman to address & correct is efficient .

The salesperson is amazing from start to finish she was always available to answer questions. She went above and beyond in every aspect of the sale and afterwards. The project managers took there time explaining everything. Love my new home.

A lot of features of the home are very good. The sales person, design consultant and superintendent were very personable and helpful. The home and materials were good but some of the workmanship is poor.

Great experience

Very good experience overall. The home was completed a month early, and we have had no serious issues with the construction or structure of the home, or appliances Any issues we discovered after moving in have been fixed or will be corrected under the warranty. We are very happy with the value vs cost of the home. Some of the materials could have been higher quality, but are acceptable.

Beautiful house, well built. I bought one of the models, fully furnished, and all the extras. Love the house. Love the neighborhood with clubhouse, pool, and access to Red Mill Pond. Highly recommended builder and neighborhood. Had some issues with the dryer, which was not installed correctly, but a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

The person we had to help us with the loan was very helpful!!! Any hiccup that we came across she was there to help.

Our purchase experience and process of building was excellent. Since completion, we have had 2 issues that we cannot get KHov to respond to. One with our irrigation system and now with a failed inspection by the Lewes water department.

Our overall experience with our new home has been great. The layout and design met most of our expectations, and we’re happy to finally be settled in. That said, there are a few areas where we feel things could have been better. The interior paint quality was below what we expected for a new home, and we ended up having the entire house repainted with a higher-grade product. Additionally, we wish we had been given more detailed information about our lot before purchase. It was marketed as a “Premium Lot,” but after construction, the grading of the land changed and the view turned out to be less appealing than we had anticipated. Overall, we love our new home but hope future buyers are provided with more transparency regarding lot grading and material quality. Also, in todays world with technology all house should be equipped with smart locks and not keys. We also would of like a more options for smart technology. ... More

My new home experience with K. Hovnanian has been positive for the most part. One notable item was the design process, I really loved the floor plans that were available and the Looks Interior choices, it made designing my home effortless. The location of Monarch Glen to the Georgetown-Lewes Trail, being tucked away from major roads, and close to beaches is what drew me here. The only downside is the mobile trailer park and some of the occupants on the other side of me. I wish I had known that there were issues over there as I would have selected a different lot. The overall workmanship and materials has been acceptable for the most part. After moving in I have noticed areas that could have been done better but what needed fixing inside the house has been addressed and fixed quickly. The sod is a different story. The yard has been dug up so much that it has destroyed my front yard. I was initially told that it would be replaced but that has not happened. I have since took matters into my own hands in an attempt to make the front look more appealing but there are still areas that need attention. The sales and PM on our home were great to work with. Both provided feedback in a timely manner. Our walk thru of the house was never rushed and very detailed. Even after several months in the house, the K Hov team remains friendly and attentive.

We were a couple hours from the site so the E-Mail was a big advantage . The job super was always responsive and we let him do his job . During a planed site visit we could see the organized progress and job site cleanliness and we did not come back until competion .

Location, location, location!!! They have always been the most important item when searching for and deciding on where to buy your primary residence. Next (in my opinion) are Construction Quality, Community Layout & Amenities, followed closely by Price Point / Perceived or Expected Value. Our experience with the K. Hovnanian Team was Excellent considering the important items mentioned above. My wife and I Highly Recommend K. Hovnanian builders and especially the Tower Hill community in Lewes, DE

Very pleased with condition of home and time spent on time going over the home. However move in date was changed multiple times which made our move from Texas much more stressful than we had hoped

Overall, it has been a very positive experience. Our needs were addressed in a timely manner. The sales staff have been helpful.
