Good home overall. Process is overwhelming

In this market, trying to navigate home buying when you're in another state is challenging. I wanted my forever home and did not want to settle, therefore decided to build a new home. After flying into town and looking at other builders in other areas around central Florida, I ended with K. Hovanian. It didn't take long for me to decide that I had found where I wanted to spend the rest of my days and leave something for my family to enjoy years down the road. While I had to wait 2 months for the lot I wanted to become available, I saw prices slowly climbing but was lucky to get in before they escalated too much more. I do wish there had been a few more choices for things like backsplash, flooring (carpet), etc. overall I am very pleased with how things turned out. The design center appointment was an all day and somewhat stressful experience to make so many decisions and in some cases limited choices. I did fly into town for this visit although it was offered to be done virtually amid the pandemic. Being able to clearly see my choices and how they would look laid out together was definitely work the trip. I also only wish that the builder allowed some changes along the way during the building process. I had times where I had wished that I had selected something that I had originally opted not to do and would have loved to be able to add that in. The sales team was great the construction manager assigned to my build were awesome! All of my issues/questions were addressed promptly and professionally. Great value for the price paid... and great support too from the sales representative!

Good homes Less choices to select Finishing is not great

This is my 5th time dealing with Khov . The staff is absolutely amazing. Shea Sparky Mariana from Khov Orlando are amazing people. You can close your eyes and do business with them all day long.

From salesman to builder management is very professional in my opinion. They reply very quick to all the claims and issues I’ve reported and handled it very professional. I’ve read a lot of reviews and I don’t know why there’s a lot of complaints, but so far I’m very happy of my new house and felt happy that I’ve made a right choice going with KHov. I’m definitely will recommend KHov to all my friends and family who would like to build a house in the future and would definitely go with KHov if we happen to want a second home.

I am impressed with Khovnian home selling process. This is my first home and it was comfortable all the way. Little hiccup at the end but nothing compared to the horror stories I heard. I will always refer friends and family. Excellent experience

I love the house itself. But very poor responsiveness from builder, sales and title company

From start to finish I had poor if not no communication with the sales rep and loan officer. The builder was great he kept me in the loop of everything that’s was being done. The house is beautiful but you can tell they used cheap over priced things in the house.

Everyone was very helpful from day one. From the negotiation when we came to the community to closing.

The builder Louis was exceptional with the workmanship and his responsiveness to any issues or concerns

Great people form the Sales person to the people fixing any problem, very professionals and very dedicated to the client.

The overall experience with KHov was great. Larissa and Tamira help us with the process and they were always available for us. They answered every question we had diligently.

Great home buying experience. However, the sell you on the HOA taking care of everything on the outside including your lawn, bushes, trees and sprinkler system. The lawn, bushes and trees in this neighborhood have been severely neglected to the point where my neighbor has a beach instead of a lawn. My bushes haven’t been cut since I moved in and I have a tree that’s dying because the wind caused it to lean and the rootball is exposed. My neighbors and I have brought these things to the attention of both the management company and the builder. The new landscape service (because the old one was so bad) still just Moe’s the lawn while my tree dies, my bushes grow, and my neighbor searches for the ocean that must be near his beachfront property. ... Great everything , great team great builders

We were initially put off by the online reviews, but after talking to some realtors in the area decided to work with KHov. And we're glad we did! We found the right lot and floorplan for us and everything went according to schedule except for the pool, but that was not in their control. Although there were a lot of upgrades that were costly, the end product is something we are happy with and intend to live in for many years. Our builder project manager Mike was very responsive, always attentive to our wishes, and made an effort to fix anything we asked.
