The house is beautiful and well made. The warranty staff does an excellent job at fixing problems.

I think you have it all together for selling homes great job.

Extra expenses incurred in installing blinds for entry door and bedroom door could be avoided. Cabinet seems flimsy and may need replacing sooner.

Our buying process was great. We worked with Kay at Reunion and she was informative and quick in response. This said, after 5 months in we've begun to notice things around that house that were missed during the initial walk-though. Missing caulking along the exterior windows, uneven flooring and peeling caulking around the base boards.. And the year.. wow, it is so uneven that it makes it difficult to mow in some areas. Given the look and feel of this neighborhood I would have expected there to be a bit more care taken when working on the house. I'm disappointed by these things, but it doesn't outweigh the fact that the neighborhood is beautiful as is the house. We love our house but whoever does the grading is terrible at their job. The neighborhood wasn't planned very well and even thou we live in Florida there are yards with standing water. Some houses have higher floor slab elevations than the house adjacent to it by as much as a foot or more. With just a measly 10' between million dollar homes there's not enough room to properly grade the yards. Like I said, not planned very well

I recently purchased a home in the Mariposa community at Lathrop. Significant number of wide settling cracks within 5 months of accomodation because of which we see a significant increase in pest activity. By the end of 12 months, I am anticipating more settling cracks. When asked if Warranty team can come in 2 times within the 12 month period, the only response obtained is only once according to their terms. Addressing customer concerns does not seem like a priority for ***** homes. The fundamental issue of poor workmanship is not acknowledged and being addressed.

I have a leak in my roof and have called the warranty team 3 times without any follow up, what so ever.

The sales experience with Nick and then Jonathan was great! They were both very responsive to any questions that I had and were always willing to help. Rich and Ash did a great job walking me through the house and explaining everything. They were also very responsive to questions and went out of their way to help when needed. So far the warranty department has also been very helpful. Any issues found have been resolved quickly.

K Hovnanian does not build quality homes. There is absolutely no insulation in interior walls so the house noise travels through the walls especially when the washer is going. Unbelievable. Also, the house paint job inside was poor and the entire house inside and out was dirty. Very disappointed when we saw it and had to clean it all before we moved in. Poor quality in many areas.

YOUR CREDIT/FINANCE TEAM, DOES NOT HELP THE PROCESS. YOU COULD LOOSE A LOT OF CLIENTS WITH THEM. THEY NEED TO IMPROVE ON HOW THEY RELATE TO CLIEINTS

We had a great experience with K Hovnanian. From the firsat visit to the model home through to today 6 months after settlement every interaction has been pleasant and productive. We appreciate their attentio9n to detail and responsiveness to our questions and concerns.

Clear and fluid closing process. Do not use subcontractors to be your representatives.

I keep seeing some material used are not as good as expected

After buying house service should be improved, some of us are first time homebuyers and we need you guys to help us out not just simply say it's not our issue you should have checked earlier.

Poor quality work. Fit and finish was poor. We were given incorrect information during the construction and delivery process. Some items that were "fixed" are now damaged again.

Like any new home, there are a few things here and there that needed to be addressed. Having owned a ***** home before we are familiar with the 1 year warranty process so that helps. Be prepared to log issues and overall ***** addresses them in a timely and acceptible manner.

Overall my experience was complex. First the price for the home and what the appraisal price was 25K less than the amount they were asking for. This information was withheld from me for 1 month with no reason given me. However, my sales rep was a 10 out of 10. My K. Hovnanian mortgage rep was also a 10 out of 10. The build quality for the price point leaves alot to be desired. The electric box showed short cuts that can potentially rear it's ugly head if you are looking for separate breakers for each room. The kitchen setup is very user friendly if you like to cook. The one weird oddity with the floor plan that I chose is the lack of any closets. There one linen nor coat closet which is very strange. In summation, I cannot recommend K. Hovnanian Homes to my friends and/or family at this time. At this price point there are better options for new builds within a 10 mile radius that offer a better value. ... More

Poor quality work, even after the matter brought to the builder's attention, repair work was again poor quality and unsatisfactory.

The process was made as painless and easy as possible.

Liked the layout, different than most. For this priced home, more options would have been nice. Also, the cost of this home should NOT come with plastic toilet seats.
