We had a excellent experience with all the process.

Overall, I had a great experience with K. Hovnanian. The representative I worked with was great and responsive. After moving in, we had a few minor items that still need to be fixed under our warranty, but overall my family and I are satisfied with the result of our home.

Heba our sales consultant and Scott our warranty guy are both amazing. They made sure that all our needs are met. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable at our new home. They seem to pride themselves for what they do. Even the financial department they were all amazing people, they didn't give us a hard time and it was smooth sailing throughout the approval process. It was a pleasure working with them. We were fortunate to have this team working with us to help us get our dream house.

It's was streamlined, easy, fast and we'll done. Building our home was the best decision we ever made and K. Hov. made it easy. We love our home and everyone was really great to work with. From the local builder who is absolutely great to the finance people working on our loan everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The sales office team is fantastic! Steve our construction manger was super easy to deal with and very easy to contact with questions and concerns along the way. Communication from the inhouse lender was a bit lackluster but once the process was rolling it was fairly smooth.

Sales agent was easy to work with. We bought a quick move-in, so not much we could change as far as options go. Everything was, as we would have chosen though; so it was a good fit. We caught the latter half of the build so we caught the flooring and cabinetry going in. The escrow process went smoothly and they stayed in close contact with us every step of the way. The home is constructed well...there of course was blue-tape all over the place during our walkthrough, but they fixed it all relatively quickly. I can't find too much to complain about after all the touch-ups. Move-in was a breeze. Design-wise, our couch couldn't go up the staircase, but made it through the living room window thanks to our professional movers. I would say the home is constructed well. Environmentally, it's 100 degrees outside and the AC set at 76-78 doesn't turn on as frequently as I thought. Perhaps with more furniture in later, that'll change. The garage is laid out with this huge beam in the middle so TopRaxx was a bit hard to layout, but we got it to work. No other major issues at the week 1 point. ... More

Great experience

THE PROS KHov takes pride in their work and everyone that we've come into contact with at this company has been genuinely very nice people, and that has been the highlight of our experience. The onsite construction manager, Robert, has especially been quite amazing in helping us to handle minor issues that have come up. Every time I see him, he asks me how everything is going with the house and if I mention anything, he's quick to take a look and help where he can. The few times we needed to call in minor issues, it was taken care of very quickly and oddly (yes, it's very rare) all the workers were very nice people who cared. We're genuinely shocked by that, especially being here in Florida where most are very rude and often don't care. The oven is decent as well as the Microwave. Windows seem to be very nice and decent quality. Floors and carpet are done well and look very nice. All closet doors are real doors with door handles, which is a very nice feature of the home. It has 1" granite counters that look very nice in the kitchen. Garage door and opener are decent quality as well as the water irrigation system. Hurricane shutters came with the home and are in good order. Kitchen cabinets seem to be made with mid-grade to low quality materials, but we’re putting it in the pro category because they look superb and good quality hardware is used, like the long stainless steel handles and slow-close hinges. There was much kitchen cabinet space. The architecture is great, using the space well, creating closets and laundry room in logical locations and owners' closet is spacious. The landscaping, though simple, was very nice and 2 oak trees were planted in the back yard. THE CONS We wish the appliances were a little better, the Fridge was way too small and the dishwasher is so basic that it doesn't really clean the dishes. The faucets and shower heads are very basic, but work fine. House trim is basic. The paint seems to be very cheap; it looks good, but it damages or comes off easily. OVERALL EXPERIENCE Although there is a mix of good quality vs. low quality materials/appliances, we are overall very satisfied with the home and especially with the service. Robert has especially been extremely helpful, not only in helping us get issues taken care of, but he has even spent some time educating us about certain things of the house. He is the main reason we have been recommending KHOV to our friends and family and will continue to do so. I hope Khov is taking care of him, treating him as an essential part of their operation and recognizing how greatly his leadership contributes to their success. Very happy with our home

We overall had a good experience with our home build. The only real problems we had were delays. Our closing was delayed 4 months. Just a few hiccups along the way which is normal for construction. Everyone has been so nice and helpful.

It was great working with Ray. I would recommend K Hov homes to anyone looking for a new home.

Very good experience overall. The home was completed a month early, and we have had no serious issues with the construction or structure of the home, or appliances Any issues we discovered after moving in have been fixed or will be corrected under the warranty. We are very happy with the value vs cost of the home. Some of the materials could have been higher quality, but are acceptable.

Beautiful new home...but then they do a SLOPPY job on the garage..particularly the steps leading into the house. It looks like they just slapped something together. So too with the guys laying the sod --not very prideful of their work. We had issues with he MBR shower and the wall in our bedroom, part of which needs to be ripped out because of buckled seams. But all in all, we are very satisfied, The construction supervisor has been particularly helpful and very responsive. Excellent customer relations skills! So is the KHov customer service rep who is helping us address the two major issues mentioned above. There are sure to be problems with any new build. The process from start to finish unbelievably smooth with no issues at all. The team I was awarded with was perfect, they was very helpful and reliable with anything I needed to be informed about or explained. I’m thankful for their efforts to take the stress away and make it so easier than I expected.

Great builder but slow in response to warranty issues.

The house is amazing, 98% of the house is exactly how we imagined it. There are some small issues that for the most part have been resolved by working with K. Hov. I hope more don't show up after they stop working with us.

The quality of the materials and finishes is great, with some opportunities on the timing to fix small issues identified after the moving. The process of purchase went smoothly with a surprise at the end when the address number has changed which generated some impacts on the closing. There is still an issue with the gas metrics as is is wrongly assigned at PS&G so I will end up paying my neighbour invoice and vice versa. Support from Hovnanian is needed.

I had a great experience with the construction team, sales team and love, love, love my house!

Overall my family and I love our new home with KHovnanian Enclave at Waugh Chapel. It’s spacious design and price for the location have made it and ideal place to raise a family. The KHovnanian team have made this and awesome experience.
