The home finishings that are offered by Khov create beautiful aesthetics. Repairs were expeditiously tended to.

They did a good job. Finally I got the beautiful house. Suggest to buy their house, good material, serious services.

Our overall experience with our new home has been great. The layout and design met most of our expectations, and we’re happy to finally be settled in. That said, there are a few areas where we feel things could have been better. The interior paint quality was below what we expected for a new home, and we ended up having the entire house repainted with a higher-grade product. Additionally, we wish we had been given more detailed information about our lot before purchase. It was marketed as a “Premium Lot,” but after construction, the grading of the land changed and the view turned out to be less appealing than we had anticipated. Overall, we love our new home but hope future buyers are provided with more transparency regarding lot grading and material quality. Also, in todays world with technology all house should be equipped with smart locks and not keys. We also would of like a more options for smart technology. ... More

My new home experience with K. Hovnanian has been positive for the most part. One notable item was the design process, I really loved the floor plans that were available and the Looks Interior choices, it made designing my home effortless. The location of Monarch Glen to the Georgetown-Lewes Trail, being tucked away from major roads, and close to beaches is what drew me here. The only downside is the mobile trailer park and some of the occupants on the other side of me. I wish I had known that there were issues over there as I would have selected a different lot. The overall workmanship and materials has been acceptable for the most part. After moving in I have noticed areas that could have been done better but what needed fixing inside the house has been addressed and fixed quickly. The sod is a different story. The yard has been dug up so much that it has destroyed my front yard. I was initially told that it would be replaced but that has not happened. I have since took matters into my own hands in an attempt to make the front look more appealing but there are still areas that need attention. Justin has been excellent in getting work scheduled under warranty no matter the scope of the job. It lends support to a large company like KHov, with many subcontractors, standing by the product they deliver.

It was a great experience with the whole sales and construction team

We were in the market for a home. We considered resales and new builds. The rate buy down offers from new home builders were enticing but the troubles and poor quality we read about online for other builders had us on the fence of purchasing a new build. Still we decided to evaluate new builds because interest rates were high and new builds had concessions. We narrowed our search to 2 higher end new home builders. And then came across Khov as the 3rd and liked their floor plans, included features , and location. We bought a quick move in home. Overall, the house was built to spec. The build quality is on par with the other 2 builders we considered with some being better at Khov . The sales, closing, post sales warranty teams worked collaboratively with us. The post sale warranty issues have been resolved quickly. Fortunately all were cosmetic in nature. We’ve only been in the house for a few months, are happy with our purchase. Khov builds a better than average builder quality home and their team cares about making the home purchase experience pleasant for buyers. ... More

Annett was very helpful, including her staff. They all help me obtaining the home I always wanted, and always there when I need them.

Great experience and great maintenance staff

We love the floorplan and craftmanship. We have experienced a few issues so far, but submitting a ticket is easy via their portal and the team is very responsive. No major issues though. Some things could be improved or made easier (such as no bushes on sice of the house and room for trashcans) and common areas could be more neat as in more frequent lawn services, cover over mailbox and start a plan on playground pool or such. For the HOA fee we pay, we are not getting anything.

We absolutely love our home, we purchased one already built, however there were some details that were overlooked by KHov. There are things that cannot be corrected according to the builder such as crooked walls, flooring not lined up straight. Island in kitchen not straight. Since these are already in place, we are stuck with it. Please inspect everything before committing.

I purchased the WiFi extension package for my home. Thinking they would install everything needed. All they do is put a hole in the ceiling and a wire then tell you you have to hire somebody else to finish it. Everyone I call says the builder should have done this. They have no idea what this is.

The house is nice, but not worth what I paid for it I feel like I was duped every step of the way. I’m disappointed in the quality of the materials used after paying $36k more for an upgraded package and color scheme. The sales office did not have any samples and told me to use the website. I was blindsided by thousands of dollars of assessments and fees, which I think the sales office should have initially disclosed. $52k for closing costs! 7%!!!Also there was thousands of dollars for the HOA when there is only a small playground and a dog park. The sales office also claimed I was getting a “free” basement. But I later found out only if used their mortgage company which was a full point above market rate. It was too late to change lenders when I needed to actually lock in a rate. ... More

We have been looking for a 3-2 Split and this model is a 4-2 Split with some nice features. The price point was right, and it was located in our target area, so it checked all the boxes!

Overall a positive experience

I felt any additional upgrades was very expensive than current in the market. Example first floor Recess Light we added the KHOV package and it cost me $3670 and outside I finished second floor in $1100. You should offer competitive charges rather way expensive as your home buyer. Also , We found cracks in kitchen and upstairs. Overall home buyer experience was nice.

I have bought the house in Oct/24. Dennis sale man is very helpful, he sent a constructed update weekly, very quick response. Construction manager is also very helpful. Any question you asked have beed answerred very quick. The house is very nice and luxury design. Material is also with accepted quality.

I thought Dustin did a great job ! Chas Roberts did well too. Irrigation not good at all.

The buying experience had mostly 5 star components along with a couple sub-par elements. Erika and Amy from Sales have been very helpful, even after the sale they continue to provide support. Tyson and Scott in Construction have been responsive and Alyssa in Customer Support is my best resource for getting issues resolved. Overall quality is typical for spec home ("fast") builders, highlighted by the design and energy efficiency features and degraded by corporate decisions that may make sense from KHOV's financial perspective but can leave lasting issues with the homeowner. Despite the few areas with issues, I love the house and greatly appreciate the value received for the price paid. Good job KHOV! ... More

Good experience dealing with KHov builder and then KHov Mortgage. Made the process much easier.

Builder should include window sills as part of the build. Unreasonable to have no sills and flat painted surfaces. How would you clean? What if water got on it? Houses are built too close together. Barely enough room to get a lawnmower between the house and the rock wall separating the property line.

The sales and PM on our home were great to work with. Both provided feedback in a timely manner. Our walk thru of the house was never rushed and very detailed. Even after several months in the house, the K Hov team remains friendly and attentive.
