The garages are compact so take that into account. Insist on reviewing ALL terms and conditions (including the HOA guidelines) before you start the purchase. Don't be afraid to inquire about the overall site plan and schedule for the various phases of the community. But overall I am satisfied with the quality of our home constructed by K. Hovnanian. As a first time home buyer I learned a lot and the construction manager did a great job educating and informing me throughout the build process.

Our sales agent Craig was wonderful! Very kind, nice and attentive to our questions which made the experience very pleasurable.

Overall we love the floor plan we chose. The quality of the final touch ups on the paint are not that great. Also only one coast of paint seemed to be used so cleaning up marks on the walls do not go well. Working with most of the builder’s reps has gone ok with one exception. We were offered a refrigerator as an incentive and chose one, but a lesser price one was delivered.

Though we have owned several homes this was our first brand new home. It was completed almost 6 weeks ahead of schedule which we were not really prepared for but the home turned out beautifully. Unfortunately, accompanying services were not ready. We did not receive mail service, garbage pick up, and internet/TV service for 2 months after closing. Living without these amenities proved challenging and sometimes frustrating. Service from the recommended title company, Eastern National Title Agency, has been pitiful. Though we paid cash for the home, we still have not received a title or even a response from them after writing personally to Nelson G. If it wasn’t for the professionalism of your sales staff we would not be happy buyers of our 1st brand new home. ... More

Overall, it has been a very positive experience. Our needs were addressed in a timely manner. The sales staff have been helpful.

We love our new home. K hov uses high quality materials and it is a strong build. The map fit our needs perfectly. Rick and Keith were great but the people working for the contractors often do not follow through with instructions and there were several unfinished things even at the time of closing. I just wish they would refine the finishing touches without us having to ask so many times.

Every builder is, of course, at the mercy of the local trades; but what sets builders apart is how they fix and take care of issues with the build. KHOV does this. They take care of the issues/make sure they get taken care of, and are responsive and agreeable with regard to fixing the inevitable issues that arise from the local trades. Overall, a great home and a great builder.

Overall, things seem okay as we begin to live in our home. I see quality issues on on some things such as fencing, the shape our grass was in when we moved in (dead), and the wash out of the dirt in our yard after a big storm that wasn't replaced before putting in the grass. Unhappy with the fact that the bathrooms don't have a medicine cabinet or towel holders. Something new homeowners shouldn't have to worry about installing or ordering. After moving in and starting to put away things in the kitchen cabinets, I noticed they are not normal sized cabinets as far as width. I cook a lot and I have no space for my larger pots and pans. It's a problem. And lastly, there are no cabinets in the laundry room. One set above the washer would be relatively inexpensive, but be very beneficial to homeowners to hideaway laundry items. ... The entire process from start to finish was tedious as far as getting all the required documentation but the staff was patient and helpful as far as guiding you in getting it done in a timely manner The home is simple but elegant with quality in mind. The team was always there for you to answer your questions in a timely manner. The builder did is best to offer you a beautiful home despite the higher home cost, climbing tax rate, shortage of materials needed and increase in labor cost

Overall exciting process, would have preferred more options for fixtures, bathrooms, and appliances, decent value for the money regarding supply chain issues. A bring your own appliance would be nice.

Both Ryan and Ben were great to work with! I felt like they were genuine and that they truly cared to help and answer my questions. Highly recommend both of them!

I loved the follow up process from Ben, as each week went by. Some issues I discovered after closing. The whole house was painted with flat paint, I think it’s dumb. Second major issue, master bathroom light fixtures are all on one switch. That’s just not smart at all.

I had a good experience with the builder, but make sure you have them work closely with you as to when your new home will be available so as not to experience any unexpected or unannounced delays that could impact your planned move in. Additionally make sure you have any problems you encounter before and up to move in well documented by the builder so that you have a basis for follow up should the problem result in subsequent issues that need to be addressed and corrected. The builder's 1 year warranty is a welcome and helpful package to have.

Make sure items that need attention are attended to before closing.

Home buying process went well.

The khov folks did a great job of building our new home, keeping in touch with us, and made sure that everything went smoothly up to closing. It was done in a quite hassle-free and timely fashion. So, I am very happy with the experience.

Brandon was always extremely helpful and willing to answer all of my questions. He is friendly, knowledgeable and always approachable which I've appreciated. You guys need 1,000 Brandons! Unlike Dustin, my main contact who always made me feel like I was bothering him. To no surprise, he left the company and went into some sort of Construction endeavor if I remember correctly which is probably better suited for him. He should NOT be in any sort of Customer Service position. Don't get me wrong, he addressed things because I pushed for them but I could tell by our interactions that he was overwhelmed, over worked and pretty much hated his job. Yvonne replaced Dustin and I haven't had to interact with her other than to respond to an email from her on an open ticket after Dustin left. ... More

This is the first time my self or my wife have purchased a BRAND new home. We have owned 2 other homes but these were ''as is'' purchases. There are pros & cons to both. I will first say that K Hovnanian has obviously done a lot of work & put a ton of thought into making this process go as smooth as possible. And for the most part that is what we experienced. I would suggest that KH help NEW home buyers understand there is a pretty big difference if they've never purchased a NEW home. We would have made different choices in upgrades had we had a clearer understanding. After al the choices were made and we signed on the bottom line ( shocklingly stressful) the build was great, the sales people (Don) were on it, sending pictures, updates, calling and they finished ahead of schedule! Love that part. Then came the 'punch list' close. They were VERY thorough, covered everything. We could'nt wait to get moved in. We come to close day and the punch list isnt finished...but we're closing! We still closed ...my suggestion don't close until you are 100% satisfied...otherwise they get so busy moving on to the build of other homes you get forgotten ( or at least it felt that way) It is simply to difficult to pull a tradesperson off a build to fix a door or paint some trim...I get it. But it has not been fun since we closed trying to schedule these things, having to miss work , wait all day for someone to show ( or not) or have the wrong tools and have to reschedule it! We've been in nearly 4 months and still have things that need fixin. But that is part of the NEW home purchase. We love it. KHov is really a great company. There's always room for improvement, right. In my company, it gets chaoticly busy at times and the simple small details get overlooked. happens . Glad we made the decision to move here and use KHOV , bottomline 9.5/ 10 ... More

Good experience to buy home

Waiting on my missing roof shinges to be put up. Interior issues also and no shower door.

I was so excited in purchasing this home but wish I had a chance to decorate.

The sales and construction team were the best, they were always responsive, resourceful, and available to help. The sales team made this experience smooth, providing the information needed and support in a very human and professional manner.
