Good location, I like it.

Happy with overall experience, no complaints.

It was a great experience working with Larissa very helpful. Also the guy that was in charge for the construction very dedicated about his work to keep everything looking perfect.

David R. is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He takes pride in his work and is always ready to assist with anything our house might require.

Our sales person and construction manager were great, made the process so much more enjoyable. I was impressed with the quality of materials and construction methods used.

Our sales agent, mortgage representative, and construction foreman were patient walking us through each step of the purchase, selection of options, financing and construction. We received weekly updates as the construction progressed.

Quality and and detail to work okay at best. Easily seen issues ignored unless brought up.

One criticism that I feel should be mentioned is the quality of the interior paint used. We elected to upgrade to a color choice. Unfortunately, there was no opportunity to upgrade quality and therefore the flat finish on the paint was not what we would have liked. I would suggest that the option to choose a paint color also be accompanied by an option to upgrade the paint quality.

My experience in general is not than bad. My best experience is with the sales team, they are incredible awesome. The only bad taste that I have is after I moved. The construction workers are not nice at all. They have destroyed the grass of the house , they continuously blocked my driveway, they is a lot of mud on the road etc. Also my water meter apparently was broken and nobody told me that so my first water utility bill is around $300 dollars. There is too many bad things happening at night. Due to the kind of World we are living now, I would suggest to start building new development as Gated Community ... More

Great experience from start to finish.

Great home buying experience. However, the sell you on the HOA taking care of everything on the outside including your lawn, bushes, trees and sprinkler system. The lawn, bushes and trees in this neighborhood have been severely neglected to the point where my neighbor has a beach instead of a lawn. My bushes haven’t been cut since I moved in and I have a tree that’s dying because the wind caused it to lean and the rootball is exposed. My neighbors and I have brought these things to the attention of both the management company and the builder. The new landscape service (because the old one was so bad) still just Moe’s the lawn while my tree dies, my bushes grow, and my neighbor searches for the ocean that must be near his beachfront property. ... Home wasn’t signed off as completed until April 26th and we were set to close on the 28th. The lender needs a final appraisal which takes 1-2 weeks. They deemed K Hovnanian’s tactics unethical and went back on their assurance to cover the costs associated with delay of closing. I ended up being saddled with thousands of dollars of fees and paid after threats to relist the house. I see the fault on the side of all party’s except mine, yet I was the one saddled with undue financial burden. Very good builder and attentive

I have tried to post a review a few times, but I was asked to resubmit for inappropriate content. I have no idea what the inappropriate content was though; it is a poor review. I will keep this brief so that it does not get flagged again. I have had numerous issues with the builder from sales giving inaccurate information to builders' poor quality work. I have had a list of over 30 things to get repaired or finished. It was not completed within 30 days as promised. My house was still very incomplete at walk-throughs and dealing with contractors had been a headache. Since I’ve moved In it’s been nothing but problems! These homes are built to last a week after moving. I’ve had to deal with the warranty department monthly! Don’t waste your money you will regret it just as much I do! The cheapest material are used from Cabintes to doors, counter tops I mean everything. What’s suppose to be a dream Come true quickly turns into a disappointment.

Build with perfection I love my home

First of all the house was absolutely beautiful. Chylle, my sales guy, and Clay, the construction manager, were both absolutely fantastic to work with the entire process. I wish I could say the same about the chaos and deception of their mortgage side of things, but I won’t let that get in the way of an otherwise outstanding experience. Get your own outside mortgage company and avoid all the last minute games. Beautiful home and beautiful neighborhood!

Great workmanship. Love the home.

As a first time homebuyer, the process was smooth and easy. I was always informed of what was taking place with the construction and how long the process would take.

Customer service was terrible!! Please beware of estimating closing dates and incomplete projects after moving in. They will string you alone for weeks and weeks with different closing dates. Not mention the small things that still have to completed after you move in!! We purchased a home with shutters on all the front windows as shown on the model and the brochure. Unfortunately after we have been living here for 2 months and still no shutters. So if you are waiting for your home to be completed please be aware of inaccurate timelines on building your home as well as an estimated closing date. We love our new home but dealing with K Hovnanian staffing was one of our worst experiences. ... More

Very friendly and helpful staff all across the board. Every aspect of the process was pleasant and everyone was very helpful.

Super fast and efficient but still looks great!

When we first met Michael, he explained that his job is more service than sales. He proved that time and again with his thorough knowledge of home construction and the local market. Every time we viewed a new property Joe would perform a methodical inspection, looking for signs of problems and commenting on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. Joe also led us through multiple rounds of negotiation to get to a price we were comfortable with. In the end we found the property that was perfect for us and are loving it so far. My favorite Joe saying ... "the minute you buy a property you become the seller". ... More

When speaking to individuals about the home buying process it gave me anxiety UNTIL I found KHovnanian homes. Helen, my sales woman, was the absolute best in walking me through the process and keeping me updated on the progress of my home. TJ, my foreman, made me feel welcomed each and every day that I stopped by to see the home and enjoy the different phases of the build. Addie and Milette, my financing dream team made the paperwork absolutely painless and Destiny helped me design the home of my dreams. ALL of them together truly are amazing and ensured that not only was I satisfied but comfortable with the home and the process. I could not have dreamt of a better builder and or group of people to walk me through this journey. Truly blessed to have crossed each of their paths.
