Overall, it was not a bad experience at all, but it was not one great either. I understand you have alot of homes to build and alot of warranties to cover, but the overall customer service could be improved on I think. There were many times during the building phases and now in our warranty phase where customer service was lacking, or felt rushed like put a band aid over it and move onto the next house that has issues or questions. Please slow down and explain everything to homeowners as they move into a house. Its a major purchase in life.

Our home buying experience was very smooth with KHOV . Jared was great with explaining everything to us since it was our first home buying experience. Mike did a great job providing updates on the build and even checked in on us after we had moved in. Galina and Diane were in charge of processing our loan since we used KHOV lender, they both were in constant contact with us to assure we had no issues at our closing date. Warranty department is quick to reply to our requests and assist with any minor issues we have had. We are very happy with our beautiful home.

The experience is very exciting. Seeing the house come to life and seeing your personal touches is such a great experience. Just wish the team would be better communicators. Not many updates or responses. That made the wait frustrating at points. Let's hope that's not the same case when it comes to warranty issues because some have already arrived.

We were initially put off by the online reviews, but after talking to some realtors in the area decided to work with KHov. And we're glad we did! We found the right lot and floorplan for us and everything went according to schedule except for the pool, but that was not in their control. Although there were a lot of upgrades that were costly, the end product is something we are happy with and intend to live in for many years. Our builder project manager Mike was very responsive, always attentive to our wishes, and made an effort to fix anything we asked. Anytime I had questions or concerns, Terence, Adrian, and Kevin were quick to respond and address any issues. Great experience!

the view of the house is very nice, but the construction materials are of very low quality

Everything was great, but Bret really made it special. He explained everything. He was available. He’s very friendly and most of all, knowledgeable.

Didn’t get good service from these people. I wouldn’t buy a KHov home again. Only the construction manager and warranty have been honest with me. Besides that didn’t feel that I got a honest and true buying experience with good morals.

Overall, our experience was okay. We love our neighborhood, and are happy with our house. We found that we did not receive much information from K Hovnanian in the time period after signing our purchase contract and closing, unfortunately. We didn’t receive any information other than a simple marketing piece that showed our chosen floorplan and elevations until after our first pre-closing walkthrough with the builder representative. After it became very apparent that we did not have all information, we were finally given a binder with information - a binder that detailed building timelines, walkthrough processes, sample warranty info, etc. During our walkthroughs, we were made to feel as though we could not point out any cosmetic issues that needed to be fixed. And now, after closing, we have had minimal luck in getting the builders warranty to cover things that should be covered. We love our home, but have been disappointed in the workmanship and KHov’s reluctance to do the right thing by their customers. ... More

We are Happy homeowners, feel so lucky we found this home Strategically located in highway 5 and 4 , beautiful design, affordable, quiet gated community, beautiful park, clean, the sales representatives are so helpful, great, very approachable, the down sides are in the house some problems like touch up, scratches, some stains on the ceiling, some of our upgrades they forgot but they fixed right away, the turnover kinda delayed we understand because of COVID but other than that everything’s great.

Sales experience with Ron was great. Closing experience with Robert was great. However service has been a little disappointing. 1. Still no paint kit, despite several requests. Was told flat paint, its actually dead flat paint, several trips to home depot and paint purchases and time wasted we had to buy the paint for small areas and the trial and error was not a good experience having to repaint whiskers. 2. Was told because paint kits were scarce they would paint small spots. Opened a ticket someone came out, nice guy. I was asked to sign a screen and told someone would be out to paint my door and deliver a kit. Thats was 2 weeks ago. Had to open another ticket. 3. Opened a ticket regarding debris in lawn causing dead spots of grass. Rebar, wood chunks, metal, makes walking barefoot in grass dangerous. Should not be like this. 4. Common areas. Careless construction drivers driving over curbs ruining grass, concrete.. area is not zoned for 18 wheelers.. construction folks needs to downsize delivery vehicles. 5. Amenities are pretty bad. New homes being built next to park with yellow tape (1 month now). Front sign is broken and the piece broken is sitting on floor since the freeze. Gym is dated, old and needs to remake to match new homes being built. Its like having an old car with rust with new interior. Pressure washed basketball court, no hoops? The entire process was made crystal clear - no surprises. We could view progress and schedule a walk-through of the home easily. Our project manager was always accessible and available to answer any questions.

I love the home I bought. It has several things I wanted, but couldn’t find in other homes. An example is the master bathroom and master closet. They are exactly what I was looking for!

The entire experience was great. Kristina was there from the beginning and helped with all the decisions and even in initiating the financial portions. I couldn’t have done it without her and Thad made himself available and did a stellar job on the house. I love everything and am thankful for KHov for helping us get into our forever home :)

KHov was absolutely amazing with helping me become a first time home buyer. They always sent me pictures and updates on a weekly bases and if there were any issues, they were right on it, making sure that they were taking care of me.. My home is beautiful and love the neighborhood. Kristina was incredible and absolutely amazing with helping me put my home together.

We have been looking to move to Lewes for over 3 years and were thrilled to have K Hovnanian make it happen! From the initial sales associate to to our closing, we couldn't be more pleased!

Not what I expected. House have lot of issues and the thing that they say it’s everything is normal. House floors and basement where dirty. Chip quartz’s at island. Baseboards dirty and not painted well. Kitchen doble oven was not installed correctly. Still waiting on the windows shutters haven’t being install and we have a month since we move in. 2 weeks to get our mailbox install. Not happy

I absolutely love the design of the house, however, the job was done sloppy.

Will was great to work with and always responded to our problems in a timely manner. He made the home building experience great.

Ryan was very good at communicating with me throughout the build. Once i moved in if i had any questions he would respond in a day. He was a pleasure to work with and has helped me throughout my move into my home. I did not give KHov 5 stars on anything due to the sales rep. I am just now finding out that there was a build option that i could of added to my house that was never told to me by sales even after talking about my plans for the house. Now i have to look for outside work and since i am new to the area it is a hassle. It is annoying and now nothing can be done but me searching for a contractor. Other than that home looks good. ...
