Everyone at K Hovnanian Homes was wonderful and so helpful throughout the process. A few downside - I did not get the farmhouse sink I wanted even if I requested this change in the early phase of construction and was willing to pay the difference. I just wish there was some flexibility; had issues with our granite countertops not being presealed and us not being informed. But overall, a great experience. I would like to give a shoutout to our construction manager who was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had prior to and once we moved to our new home.

Elegant beautiful build but would have been rated higher if something could have been done with the sound coming inside especially with the master bedroom location and the trains that go honking all night

Looooove our new home! But it seems that the builders cut way too many corners or don’t pay attention to detail. Many cosmetic flaws are very noticeable even to our visitors. Our fence was falling apart when we moved in. Khov was quick to fix which is good! But since the area where I purchased my khov home prices homes high, I would think they put in more supervision to each home that is built. Walk throughs are not enough.

Wendy is an incredible sales person!! Very flexible and fun to work with. Steven, Nick and Jake have been very responsive to resolve issues. Everyone is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Your team is top notch!

Build and punch-list were not without issues, but the builder was very responsive. Overall I feel like we had far fewer issues than friends and relatives have had with other builders. Overall we are a satisfied customer, and have no regrets.

All in all, the process was really good and any bumps we experienced were managed satisfactorily.

Our home is immaculate, The site realtor Shauna and site manager Mike were fantastic, we appreciate all their help and insight, My only issue came with getting a loan officer to start the process. We were shuffled between three different loan officers and had two different loan processors. We are thankful for our home and I did refer my friend to Khov their new home build.

First I want to say if it wasn’t for Brandy the experience would be a lot worse. From start to finish Brand made sure we were always informed and feeling good about our house. Truly was the big reason we bought with Khov. The building and construction side I just never trusted the process. This not my first build so I have understanding how it should go. Really felt like my house didn’t have someone watching over it and the contractors could do whatever they want. Then we would send notes to help fix and really would never get an answer or waited till final will through and then was still fixing issues after I signed. We have a lot of things we picked out not happen or get something else. Didn’t see like the construction team really cares about the selection sheet. If we didn’t say something I’m sure we would of got upgrades we didn’t pay for but was put in. We had a small issue with how our dishwasher was framed. They addressed and on final walkthrough it was worse what they fixed. What was said is well our contractor do things differently depending who does it. Weird answer when I knew how to fix it. Then they came back to fix it and it looked better and we thought it was done. Then came back a third time to fix it again. Just seems like contractors do what they want and the team accepts hoping the customer doesn’t say anything. Attention to detail just lacks on the construction team. They are all very nice and I know a lot of changes have happen but my home is forever. We will be using the warranty a lot cause the more you live in there the more I notice. My last home that was built I didn’t use it once cause the attention to detail was amazing. Which I’m sure only helps the bottom line in a business. Always willing to give more fees back if asked. If you have a truck ensure your attempt to put it in the garage to see if it fits. This is something I didn’t do and wish I did. My truck doesn’t fit in my garage forcing me to park across the street

My fiancé and I love our new K Hov home. There are minor dings and dents around the home but this is normal across the board with any new or used home. Where the service is superb is with the warranty department. They have been excellent this far with fixing things in a timely manner. We will continue feedback thru the one year warranty period. The Dwight Street is a little low on light at night and I think it’s due to some of the lights in the road being off. Turning them on would be great to increase the safety of our Inspirado neighborhood. Another concern is that google maps doesn’t have our home listed correctly. Because of this, many of our packages have been delivered or delayed for weeks on end. Having the homes on Google maps should be done while the new homes are being built. Also, getting mail delivered has been a nightmare for us. Between my husband and I, we have called the post office so many times and nothing gets done. The post office says the mailman needs a master key to be able to open and deliver our mail but this has not happened and having the help of the builder to give them the master key would be great because we have not had a single piece of mail in over a month. Crazy to think that my personal information is floating around in space somewhere. Aside from these minor complaints that I wish to be heard and helped with, I would recommend this builder to my closest friends and family. Please help us K Hov. ... More

Could be very good, but getting punch list items taken care of has been slow. It seems if you do not constantly ask, nothing gets done. Outside quality seems better than inside. Lots of little flaws. Some in materials and some in workmanship.

So far, I've had no issues with the process of buying my K.Hov home. The builder and sales staff have been resourceful and prompt to any questions I might have. I don't have any issues thus far with craftsmanship and materials, but it's too early to tell. That said, I truly feel like I'm in a well-built house that will be everything I was looking for in the many years to come.

The construction manager was great! The sales practice and tactics need another look, but overall they came together in the end.

Everyone has been great and very responsive. Home looks great, only complaint is there is grout that still needs to be cleaned around one of my bathrooms

The build quality is mostly good if not excellent. However, from day-1 we have to take care of some issues, including: 1. Vibrating A/C compressor. I am sure that it's defective but on top of that the whole unit was not "padded"...which translates to unpleasant vibration in the house (yes, the whole house). 2. "Bubbling" floors. You walk on a "cushion" in many areas of the house with manufactured hardwood. Maybe it's easy fix, maybe not if it requires floor disassembling. I have an "open ticket" with the flooring contractors to come and take a look. 3. Cheap bathroom fans. Very noisy...threw out existing ones and replaced them with $42 "Broan-NuTone QK60S" from Amazon. Takes 5 minutes to replace a fan. 4. Water heater stopped working after 10 days. Was fixed immediately by KHOV crew - THANK YOU!! ...some other minor things that aren't worth mentioning here, but definitely could've been easily addressed by the contractors during their "build process"...they knew that a towel hanger will collapse if done with a small sheetrock anchor...LOL Overall i am happy. Constuction quality is good. Possible improvement in the refinement of structures. Scope for further improvement in surfacing soil before laying the lawn. Wood fence quality is average.

K Hov makes the home buying process very pleasant. They explained each step in the process and kept me informed on the build. I am very happy with my experience and purchase.

Disappointed in some buying experiences with KHOV. But overall we rate it a 4 star.

We’re very pleased with our new home. There have been a few minor issues though KHov is on top of them and responds immediately. Everyone has been so nice and great to work with. Every step of the way they walk and guide you through everything. From the day we decided to buy the house through the day we closed they were there. Would definitely recommend and buy again from Khov. The quality of the products could be a little nicer though for the price we’re very happy with the final product.
