Smooth process, but quality of work could definitely be improved

I cant lie we had an awesome process from Beginning to End with very minimal issues if any. When we decided to build we knew from day 1 K. Hovnanian was the builder we wanted. We've seen several builders and my wife constantly stated The Juniper II was the home for us. I finally saw it and said that Isss the home for us. We began our process and everything from the Loan Officer and Processer all the way down was smooth sailing. Great Customer service, Great Quality Homes, Great People to work with. The quality and value of our home is wonderful. The price compared to other builder still really good. I cant speak highly enough of my builders team and Construction manager Carey. He was very transparent. Gave me weekly sometimes and sometimes more on the status of our home. If you ever build in the Houston region and go with KHOV Carey is a Godsend. Everything promised was done and on time. Every question I had for our sales consultant Tiffany to Construction Manager Carey was answered in great detail and in Laymens terms. If you ever look for a new home definitely check out K Hhov. The Closets, Rooms, Build and quality of these homes are awesome. Honest, responsive and made our buying experience from out of state very pleasant.

First I want to say, I love my new home. I feel so blessed and grateful for what we have.. I will try to make a long story short..The story i tell everyone is.. At first new construction wasn't an option of ours.. But when we seen Lantana community and the price was perfect!! The Space we needed and in our budget perfect! finally after couple years of looking, and getting out bided ect.. we are ready, we go in and tell the sales manager we want to move forward and we picked the lot ect.. we tell her next week I can go put the deposit down.. She tell us " She won't be in,and to come the following weekend "!!.. So that time comes around, she tells my realtor that the price when up 15k!! And that since I didn't have a deposit in a day before, I was not locked into the price that was 24 hrs before 15k higher!!.. It CRUSHED ME, my stomach turned, I was mad, disappointed, and was ready to walk out!.. Mind you I was ready to put the deposit down 7 days before, and I was told to come a week later!.. After look at my wife and kids, I couldn't back out and have their Happiness taken away too.. So if your a reviewer like me make sure to put the deposit down asap!.. And my Garage does not have a door to the outside!! Right, but the MODEL HOME DOES!!!!SMH.. ... More

Wonderful experience all the way.

From our first initial interaction with Paula H. she joined us for the walk-thru of the model homes being there to answer our questions and concerns it was comforting to know that she immediately treated us like family and not just trying to get another sale. That right there set the tone for what would a great experience buying with Khov. Even after the sale Scott & Victor assured us that we are not on an island if we needed help figuring anything out or see something out of the ordinary about our new home that they are a text message or phone call away. This is my wife’s and I first home together we couldn’t be happier in our forever home. Overall, the experience was fair - we were faced with a few challenges along the way, which we felt could have been handled with a bit more care and empathy, but understand that timing is a crucial aspect for transactions like this. After closing, responsiveness to questions and issues seem to have stalled, with a handful of open items never followed up on despite multiple attempts to connect. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, but there is a breakdown in communication between sales, construction, design, and the homeowners which makes getting answers and information difficult at times. ... Builder continuously kept us updated about the progress of our new home being built. Gave very through walk-throughs and explanations about the process. Extremely responsive to our questions and requests. Genuinely cares about the quality of home being built under the KHov name and the people that will call it their home.

Everything was great. Ryan and Keith were a pleasure to work with.

The builder was very informative and accommodating with scheduling due to the Pandemic and stayed on schedule as much as possible.The house was very well put together craftsmanship and quality second to none.Salesman and manager’s went the extra yard to ensure that my family was was happy with the end product This was the first time purchasing a home from KHovanian and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home the experience was Great!!

Great service they keep you updated on the status of your home every step of the way.

The builder was helpful when things went wrong. They were very responsive to our concerns and stepped in when there was an issue. The work on the home itself was not as clean and seamless but we were okay with that since the builder was able to work with us and provide extra caulking in areas as needed.

I think there is a lot of integrity in this company. I don't feel like anyone is trying to get away with the absolute minimum, or trick me. They have been really receptive about all of my concerns and really just want me to be happy and comfortable in my new home. I adore Tamara, Jose, Eduardo, and Lloyd. All of them have been totally wonderful and accommodating. My only real concern has been the sloppy handy-work throughout the house. There are a lot of small things that were done sloppily. However, they have been more than willing to come and fix everything I'm not satisfied with. It looks like the crew was in a rush, which sounds like the case considering how quickly they've been selling/building these houses. I think it would benefit the company to slow down on the builds so that they don't have to come back and fix the numerous mistakes later. I do also wish they varied the home designs a little more. Was an easy experience from choosing g the lot to model to options. To financing.

Quality and workmanship issues but their warranty department are really trying to make things right.

I really appreciated our sales agent, April. She worked for us daily and never brushed things under the rug. She was so patient with my million questions everyday! Every location needs an April!

First time home buyer here. Had a great experience with K.Hov. The home buying process was rather easy with no hidden costs or fees . The process of buying a car was more stressful than dealing with K.Hov.
